To be noted: I make weak characters for the sake of growth that comes as the story goes on. If a story is going to be short, I will simply import said character to another story with the permission of that stories lead writer.

Vince is a 5'6 elf person (Or just a someone with point ears.). They wear black boots, dark blue pants, a grey T-shirt and a black cape that covers their body down to their knees. On their hands they wear finger-less dark brown gloves with a ring on both index fingers. Around their waist is a belt with many small bags attached to it. On the inside of the coat are more pockets, one housing a (Depends on Universe) wand/tranquilizer-gun.

Their face is rather androgynous looking, and this is not helped by their choice in medium length hair. Their face sees to remain in a perpetual deadpan expression, different expression's coming in the form of eye rolling and half closing. This often gives people the impression that they don't care about anything. But even if that is true (Joke), they will care about certain things.


Biography:

Vince grew up in an orphanage, being ignored and bullied often for their pointy ears. Their only moments of peace came from books, that told them stories and allowed them an escape. These 2 factors contributed to most of their childhood. After a while, it became clear that they had stopped growing like the rest of their peers. Was this because they were malnourished by the other kids stealing their food? Or was it the abuse? They couldn't care less about them. They'd long since grown numb to their torment.


As the time grew closer for them to get kicked out onto the street, they decided to take matters into their own hands. One night, a week before their 18th birthday, they gathered up their stuff, as well as a few of the sleeping bullies belongings beside them, and crept out of the orphanage, never to return again. What this meant was that they were now completely alone and without support in the world. But you don't learn nothing if you spend all your free time reading every book in a library.

Using what they learned from survival and botany books, they quickly learned to live off the land, and made a modest income selling bootleg medicine that, in their opinion, was better than the watered down stuff in stores. However, selling products without a license in this society was illegal, and they were often chased around by authorities. It was lucky/unlucky for them that they had learned how to avoid and hide from people thanks to their bullies unintentional teachings.

(If magic is in the Universe of a story I join, they will then use the funds they collect to learn some basic magic from tomes and books. If not: they become a decent alchemist.)

  • Personality: Loud and friendly.
  • Likes: Fighting strong opponents, people having fun, nice people and recognition.
  • Dislikes: Depressing stuff, bad people, expensive things and doing nothing.

  • Abilities:
  • Freestyle swordsmanship: His ways with a blade are not of the usual sword styles, and there are many wasted movements. But this makes it unpredictable and flashy. Underestimating his attacks can be either a mistake or understandable.
  • Basic botany skills: He can whip up all manner of medicines just by looking around in greenery for a bit thanks to his farming knowledge. But its mainly alcoholic (winefarm), so its not advised to consumption during battle. Good for disinfecting wounds however!
  • Willpower: No matter how badly hurt he is, he can power through pain and keep fighting till his body physically gives out. And even then he will force himself to keep going for as long as he can.

  • Weaknesses:
  • He's just a normal guy: 100% human.
  • No superpowers: Yep. None to be noted as of yet.

Description:

Geo, or Gregory Winrow, is a 5'7 tall human male with no great known feats to his name. He wears soldiers boots, leather pants with steel kneecap armor and a paper grey shirt with a leather strap over his shoulder, a sword holster attached to his back. Over his shirt he wears small sections of leather armor, providing for maximum mobility, his hands covered in finger-less gloves with metal plates along his forearm and the back of his hand.

His face was very face like. It had features. (I am very sorry, I don't know how to do face descriptions yet.). he has one scar on his forehead going over his brow looking like a scratch from a large animal. He also wears a red headband to keep his hair in check during battles.

Biography:

Vince grew up on a barn. Literally. His family owned a wine orchard, and sold wines to various nobles. He was relatively well off for the first few years of his life, learning from some of the best teachers his parent's could afford. For about half a year. Then a new noble came to tax the heck out of them. Slowly but surely, their profits became losses, and they slowly lost more and more of their land to disrepair. Farmers couldn't be paid, equipment wasn't repaired or maintained, and the nobles were getting mad at the lack of wine being delivered. So they just confiscated his families whole farm.

Just like that.

So, Gregory decided he would need to support his family at the ripe old age of 13. He joined the first job he could find, and the one that was the easiest to apply for: squires. It was a well known fact that squires were well paid, but it was also known that one of the reasons was because of the workload. The knights didn't particularly want their squires to be taller than them, for reasons of superiority, so he could find work easily there. Using what he learned from watching the knights, he picked up a sword and began to train.

Needless to say, he was not learning much. He just copied what he thought was cool and went with it. When time came to use his abilities, they were put to a dangerous test. In a forest along their patrol, a bear took the knight he was assigned to by surprise, and Geo reacted quickly, running to stab the beast with his own knife. This only proved to anger the beast, as it slashed at him, narrowly missing his eyes. The bear distracted, the knight too this opportunity to slash at the bears head, cleaving into the neck and killing the beast.

He later woke up in the castle infirmary, the stone cobble walls and many cots making it look more like a barrack. Having survived such an encounter, he was in a state of shock, realizing he almost died. So, after his wounds healed, he began to train again, his freestyle swordsmanship and unorthodox style becoming more and more refined. If he were ever to face a strong opponent, he would be ready. And he would prove to himself in every fight he entered that he was stronger than he was before. He would be stronger than the bear.

Now he goes on adventures, aiming to find rare treasures to alleviate his monetary problems. Little did he know he would be getting involved in far bigger events...
