Summary:
This story is about a 16th century nobleman who decides to leave his wealth behind to live a more simplistic life, free from the pursuit of materialism and political rivalry. Born from the Basque Country, he leaves in search for the meaning of life and love. While on his voyage, his ship crashes on a mysterious island near Ireland. There he meets Brigid, a Celtic goddess of poetic love and inspiration. He falls in love with her and her him but as all that seems well ends as the act of a moral man and divine entity is against the law of the gods. So the gods cured the nobleman with vampirism to turn this once artist of etiquette emotion away from Brigid as a being of darkness. The nobleman in anger and disgust leaves the goddess and disappears in the fog. He then reappears in the 21st century New Orleans as a freelance writer and business owner of an antique shop.
Act II: Mina Amaigabea
Setting:
Begins in the 21st century, 2019 in exact. Y/C is in a coffee shop ordering a simple coffee. She was recently divorced and it trying to figure out her life. Leaving her old one back in Philadelphia and starting anew in New Orleans. She later finds herself intrigued by the antique shop across the street and the story/RP begins there.
