Wealthy and elite families from around the world are sick and tired of their offspring dragging their heels about getting married and providing them grandchildren, not to mention heirs to the family businesses, the estate, the fortune, everything… Who the hell wants everything their families built to fall into the hands of strangers one day?! Not them, that’s for sure.

So, the solution?

They send their offspring to a grand and lavish estate on a tropical island.

The deal?

They spend six months there on the island and get to know other singles of wealthy families… if they can manage to get themselves engaged in that time, they can go home and begin planning their wedding knowing that so long as they get married and produce a child within the first two years of their marriage, they will be given half their inheritance early and a portion whatever businesses the family has, with the knowledge they will get the whole enchilada after their parents death.

The Island’s owners, Mr. and Mrs. Montebello, even offer connections to top rated sperm banks and highly vetted and trustworthy surrogates for the LBGT+ individuals who entrust their romantic future into their care.

Sons and daughters of wealthy families can also voluntarily spend six months on the island if they desire to possibly find a spouse where a dense gathering of single individuals can be found.


The island boasts an enormous mansion (with plenty of bedrooms, don’t worry), a carefully patrolled rainforest with manicured trails for walking and sight seeing of beautiful plants, rare butterflies and exotic birds.

There is the beautiful beach (kept exquisitely clean) with two fine dining restaurants and plenty of food stalls along the actual beach for more casual beach appropriate food.

There are boats available for renting (with a captain to steer the boat) should individuals wish to hit the waves for a romantic date on the water.

Should a couple become engaged before their six months are over and wish to remain to get to know each other without their keenly interested families hovering around, they will be moved to a more spacious room intended for a couple.

Rules:

1. No Bullying or harrassing. We are grown up here and we will display mature grown up behavior.
2. No poking or prodding partners for posts. We need to remember that beyond the computer screen, we are all people with jobs, families and lives to live. Posts will come, just have patience.
3. No one liner posts. No one wants their time and efforts wasted, you know?
4. Please notify the group via OOC if you are going to be leaving us or be absent for a time, so your partner can decide if they can wait or if they need to figure out another option.
5. You may have (for now) one female character and one male character. This is likely to change depending upon the group's needs at whatever time such a need arises.
6. Real people FCs are preferred, be it an actor/actress, model or AI.
7. Please do not use the setting as a chance to have your character hop from one bed to the next. This is a romance with marriage being the goal.
8. Smut is allowed, but put smut portions in spoiler, just in case folks would rather scroll on past that.
9. Submit Profiles here spoilered with For Consideration as the title and I will look it over as soon as I possibly can.

Here comes me with the silly questions...

Okay, so seeing as some characters are not on this island voluntarily, would it be expected that some would be especially snobby and selective when it comes to romantic commitments? Like they want to just have fun and treat this as a free six month vacation? Or do you intend it to be everyone's goal to get engaged by the end?
