Site [redacted] on [redacted] was originally designated to focus exclusively on genetic improvement of humanity before the introduction of Project Red Coffin in 2178 CE as a side project.

A mad man's project who somehow garnered enough influence in the Cerberus to receive a proper approval at a cost of promising it'd benefit the humanity in militaristic fashion.

Early stages of the project involved expansion and improvement of a prototype AI provided by [redacted] and based of skeletal data gathered from Geth and old advanced battleships scattered around the galaxy.

Introduction of first experimental AI platform occured in 2180 CE, and resulted in a power surge accident lasting [redacted]. After connection recovery it was confirmed that the first AI platform came online. Surge also resulted in a loss of [redacted].

First platform was limited, but continuously improved - no longer than a year later Cerberus managed to push out another platform, with their first attempt at introduction of organic parts. It failed in some regards, and succeeded in others. First biotic tests were introduced, and they failed, for the most part.

During that time, the personality of AI slowly developed and struggled to comprehend humor as well as express emotions and care over the humanity, which is the partial reason for introduction of limiters wherever Cerberus could introduce them.

A year and a half later, the third attempt - third platform was introduced. A body of a recently deceased soldier was used as a base for new organic platform. It was a success, and soon the new operative with limiters was sent out into a test field. The galaxy. It scored high marks in subterfudge and garnered a couple of desired allies for the Cerberus cause.

Now, in 2183 CE, this inhuman operative coated in human flesh was tasked with investigation of the Geth Incursion on Eden Prime.​
