Medieval Fantasy, Medieval, Victorian. Obsessive Role-Player

I am new to this site, but I am not new to role-playing. I'm unaccustomed to the expectations and behavior on here, so it's a bonus if whomever I meet has been here a little while.
I hope to find a few role-play partners who role-play frequently because role-play is an unsatisfied hobby of mine after the site I previously used has gone downhill. If I can find someone willing to role play almost daily, that would be great, but I don't expect you to make a reply ASAP nor do I intend to pressure you. RP is just really fun to me, and I enjoy being immersed on my free time. If you happen to be addicted to role play as I am, tell me and we can indulge in our addiction together.

I prefer to RP Medieval Fantasy, Medieval(loosely historical fiction), and Victorian (Especially along the lines of Gothic Horror and Romanticism). All of my medieval characters are original, but one of my Victorian characters is Dr. Frankenstein slightly altered in order to fit RP and RP plots. I intend on finding somewhere to post my characters, but I am still new.

Anyway, I like to perhaps discuss the potential plot of a RP before beginning, but I also like to simply begin and see where the RP goes. That is your choice.
I try to be literate and descriptive, but the length of my response is entirely dependent on what needs written. Quantity does not equate to quality, so my length is appropriate- or I try to make it appropriate- for the content of the response.
Still new here, I feel like "Poe's Corner" is the most accurate to how I like the content of my role plays.
I also prefer closed, one-on-one role plays, but I am willing to participate in small, organized groups.

If you want to have a role play of the above genres/settings, I would be happy to.

Excuse me, but is this still open? I'm quite the medieval player, as it's my favorite time period for an odd reason, and would love to join you in your addiction to writing words for the enjoyment of others. I can do either the Medieval Fantasy or the Medieval. I would say I could do the other ones, but I'm not much into horror and very into romance, but it's entirely up to you and the mood you're in. Hey, yes it is open. I forgot this place existed until I got an email reminder from it a minute ago. I'm open to role play and do like romance so long as the other character is female (I'm a raging gay and have no idea how to write attraction to men lmao). If you have any medieval concepts in your head for a plot, do tell. I keep trying and failing (because I lose interest or the other person stops replying) to play a victorian-esque(can still work in medieval) mad scientist/ mad wizard. (Mad being nervous, lonely wreck not a cackling weirdo. More of a paranoid weirdo). I've really wanted to use this character concept in depth but havent, so if you're up for your characters communicating with a character like that, well uh thatd be cool.
