Rayge

Personality
Rayge, despite what her name would suggest, is mostly reserved and usually only speaks when spoken to. Partly because she finds most words and the people saying them meaningless, but also because acting first and talking later was one of the only things those in charge of raising the girl taught her.

Her almost seemingly unwillingness to talk leaves anyone that's been in her company to assume she's unbothered, which isn't too far from the truth, however her constant moving gaze would clue the more trained eye in to the fact that's she's much more aware than most would care to notice.

Outside her reserved self she's easily ticked off by others- maybe because she's a little anti-social? Any other sort of emotion she may commonly feel is suppressed as quickly as it's realised, to never surface and be explored. In a way, anyone who knows that this was drilled in to her from a young age, would suggest she's still pretty immature, childlike even- not knowing her emotions, not understanding what triggers them, what they feel like, she definitely still has lots to learn- not only about herself, but the world she lives in... though as far as she's concerned she's got it all figured out- she's cool, calm and collected and only interested in doing her job.

Backstory

Rayge comes from a line of people who had escaped the ever tightening grip of earths government, the only two classes there are the working and the wealthy that lounge on their backs. Like her mother before her, she was born on the planet Indao and called it home. They were happy there, they were safe, free from the crippling rules that served harsh punishments if they were broken, or so they thought.

When Rayge was seven earths government dispatched a range of military units, purely trained and funded for the sole task of seeking out and capturing humans who had escaped earth. Unfortunately they located Rayge and her family hiding out and living quiet lives on Indao- all she can really recall is her mother holding her tightly before an explosion ripped them apart, then she awoke on a bed hooked up to wires a tubes.

She didn't know it at the time, but the blast took her right arm and a good portion of her torso on the same side. So there, still laying on what many of the hospital staff were considering her death bed, she was announced a captured fugitive of the government, her punishment? To serve until death sets her free.

Looks
5'4ft, skinny but lean, pale blue eyes and white long hair. Right bionic arm, lung and ribs.
Always wearing head gear (seen in pic), the green ring around her head connected to that gear allows for a screen to appear in front of her face- there she can report to base on earth and view tasks.

Lieutenant (Sylas) Ryker

Personality
Sylas, known as Lieutenant Ryker to most, lives for the power that naturally comes with his title and shamelessly uses it to it's fullest extent. He's crafty, resilient in nature, calculated, highly manipulative and his position is where these traits shine their brightest.

Most would be wise not to trust the young Lieutenant, however, he is fiercely loyal to his title and makes sure any task given to him get done. Those above him know this but are fully aware of the mutual benefits between each party so, because of this, they mostly turn a blind eye to his corrupted nature and ways.

With all these qualities rolled up in to one man how would he act?
Well he carries himself around with a bounce in his step and a smile on his face, pretty loud and over zealous, in fact if you didn't know the guy you'd think he's a ball of sunshine, but can switch up pretty quickly, and if you were to stare at him long enough you'd begin to realise he's anything but.

Backstory
Sylas, born from poverty, came in to the world fighting, and then every day after- to rest was to die, a brutal reality no child should have to realise during their young life, but he knew it all too well. His reality was obey the strict regime on earth, work to keep the upper wealthy class comfortable and survive on whatever he got by doing so.

As the boy got older he got angry, he got spiteful, but most importantly he got smarter. He learnt that manipulating those around him pushed him forward, and that deception with a little bit of brutality got him a little further.

Eventually he was placed in the military and utilized everything he learnt to get there to move up the ranks to the position he's in now.

Name: Alcea

Personality:

Alcea is a kind and friendly woman who generally keeps to herself preferring peace and quiet. That doesn't mean she's antisocial, just not prone to seek out conversation.

Backstory:

Alcea's world is not what you'd expect if she's the only of its denizens you've met. It is what many call a death world. Most plants are carnivorous, poisonous, or both. The animals are similarly deadly, and the inhabitants seem to be at war near constantly.

With this environment Alcea grew up fighting. Every meal had to be killed first (even the vegetables put up a fight) and skirmishes were constant. Of course this means she became a soldier. No one important, just another set of hands to hold a weapon. This didn't bother her exactly, but she wanted more, and after meeting Rowa she jumped at the chance to leave the planet even if her kin would call her a traitor.
Traveling with Rowa was fun, but Alcea struggled with life on a ship. The lack of sunlight, small spaces, and recycled air grew too uncomfortable and so when the two found the Haven Alcea convinced her friend to stay a little while. While she worked up the courage to tell her she wanted to live there.

Looks: she's a tall woman standing at nearly 6ft5in (1.9m) her hair is bright red and when viewed closely is more akin to the petals of a flower than true hair.

Name: Rowa MacRayne
Personality:Rowa is a Joyful bubbly and outgoing girl. (So the opposite of what I usually play.)
Backstory: Rowan was born in space, and has loved most of her life there. Growing up she played in maintenance shafts, and learned engineering from her father. Even as an adult she's never spent much time on a planet. Living on the move in a ship she definitely didn't steal. She hopped from planet to planet making friends, even if only briefly, everywhere she went.
Doing this is how she met Alcea while visiting her home world. She hit it off with the florian woman, and as she often does invited her to tag along. Surprised when she agreed.
Rowa noticed her friends discomfort with life in space. Understanding the change was drastic for Alcea, so she was willing to spend more time planet side at the haven. Though she still plans to move on eventually, for the time being she is enjoying the change of pace.

Looks: Average height with a slim build and long blonde hair usually pulled into a ponytail. She wears jeans and simple "old fashioned" clothes most days
