His dreams of towering over the stout men of his family died long before they did. His coloring came from his father's side of the family, his skin a light golden hue that tans within minutes of stepping under the sun. His mother gave him her eyes, upturned and light brown. They almost matched the fair auburn of his hair if he was standing in the right light, the curls tended to shift in tone. He has done what was necessary after the loss of his family to get to where he is and he knows he has a long way to go but the challenge excites him rather than cause him to balk as he might have long ago. He is hard to rile but once his fuse has erupted his temper is explosive, his Italian heritage fueling his fire as his passions eat away at whatever has targeted them. This is both a blessing and a curse depending on what situation he finds himself in. FamilyTeo's family consisted of 2 older brothers, Damien and Alfonso, his mother, Sofia, and his father, Leonardo. History: Teo was raised in the country by his mother, father, and two older brothers. His family was very tight-knit and always doted on their shy little 'Teo throughout his childhood. Matteo was a bubbly and giggly child, but as he grew his presentation turned into a self-conscious fidgetting rather than a confident expression of existence. The protection his family placed on him provided a place to hide rather than a place to grow in the large scary world, but his fear only convinced his overprotective familia to hug him tighter instead of teaching him otherwise. He wasn't prepared for the day that his shield crumbled around him.
His family passed in a house fire when Matteo was 16. He has been on his own ever since.Employment: Once he left his home village, Matteo jumped from small job to small job, nothing was too demeaning or disgusting for him to deny a possible employer. By the time he was 20 he was able to afford a run-down apartment in the heart of the city and he had a solid job at the high-end restaurant, Pavylion. His daytime hours were spent working under one of the best sculptors in the country, Gideon Gesseph, in exchange for space in his studio and his tutelage in all kinds of art forms. Matteo would do anything from washing tools and scrubbing soiled clay off the floors to posing nude for hours to inspire shapes in the latest piece. He loved every moment of it. Living Situation: Matteo lives alone in a small apartment in the downtown area of his city, his landlord cut him a good deal in exchange for a seat in Pavylion whenever he required. Matteo has done his best to make the space his own.
