V, one of the most lucrative and difficult to source drugs in the underground scene of New Orleans, has fallen into the hands of a ruthless new drug lord. The previous lord, ended via a well-planned coup, is six feet under and the new lord has taken the night life by a storm of whispers. Where did he come from? What does he want? Power? Wealth? Or simply to build an empire grounded in addiction?

Rumors of a ring for human trafficking have also begun to spread. Fingers are pointing to the new drug lord, but with suspicious noses poking around their business, lips are tightly sealed. And when vampires begin disappearing too, no one’s quite sure what to think…

Rules:

• Be a proactive roleplayer. It is a group effort, and we all must give mutual energy.
• Mutual respect for everyone participating.
• No OP, all-powerful, good-at-everything type characters. No Sues.
• Keep drama IC.
• Post rate expectancy: Once a week, but more is encouraged. Communication is key, if you can't post for whatever reason please just let us know.
• Word count expectancy: Loosely between 200-500 words. Shorter posts help keep the story moving and muses up.
• Character Limit is Two. (For now.)
• There will be a Discord server for OOC/plotting.
• Real FCs only.

What sort of backgrounds are allowed? Like there's vampires, are there other supernatural sorts a la True Blood?

I'm keeping this RP strictly vampires! But humans can have a 'sixth sense' if anyone feels like it.

And I should also mention that I'm following Interview with a Vampire's vampire lore for powers/constitution etc. So older equals more powerful, they can manifest different supernatural powers (let's keep it limited to 3 though and age proportionate ie, young vampires would only manifest 1 power etc), and sun/fire/beheading as the usual methods for death.

I also forgot to mention, if you'd like to play a slayer/hunter type of character, that's also possible!
