We've had a minor hiccup in the ability of people to access the site, so I'm posting this for the benefit of those who weren't here for any previous outages that were very definitely absolutely not my fault.

No, I did not push any buttons this time.

This seems to be a wider issue, not something wrong with the site itself or our server provider. Just in case, I'll recommend backing up any long replies written on site before posting. As always, you can get tech updates and report issues via the site Discord. The link is in a notice at the top of the main page (the link might not show for new accounts. This is to prevent bots from accessing the server).

Please include your rough location in any outage reports—even just a time zone lets us narrow down if the issue is regional or universal.

Today, at 1617, the site was refusing to load. I initially tried in a new browser window.

Then realized that I had an open tab on the site. I tried to refresh and I just got a semi-blank page with a bunch of links from the page.

A few separate attempt to refresh finally got the site open.
