You enter through the worn wooden doors into a warm environment, bright with fire light. Mio themself frantically flits between all the tables, taking orders and dropping off drinks. There's beautiful music, seemingly from nowhere, and the chatter of various different colorful people. They seem heavily caught up on facts about each other. If you sit and listen, I'm sure you could write a list...

Name: Mio Bold Brave
Nicknames: Mi, Mimi, Darling, Brave, Bold, Love (anything really, just please be nice.)
Pronouns: They/He/She (Genderfluid!)
Sexuality: Demi-Romantic (Basically, who ever they fall in love with!)

Race:
Changeling (Their appearance and gender depends on how they decide to look at any moment, but they usually default to their gender neutral appearance. I'll list all three variations though, in case I ever feel the need to use them.)
Age: 23
Height:
Female is 5'3.
Male is 5'9.
True Form is 5'4. (This is their neutral height.)
Build:
They prefer slimmer builds, at least keep their true amount of muscle at any time.
Their female persona is pretty well rounded though slightly pear shaped.
Their male persona has broader shoulders, but is otherwise still slim.
Their true form is almost dainty. Slimmer. Still pear shaped. (This is their neutral look)
Skin Tone:
They prefer taking a tanner skin tone, still pretty pale. And, there are freckles/small moles that litter their skin sparsly but all over. (They prefer this look at most times.)
However, when they are fully relaxed their skin is a silvery gray; the birth marks remain. Also, any scars from day to day life appear in this form.
Hair:
Their preference is brunet, though they do have fun experimenting with fun colors. They also change the length whenever they feel, but mainly keep base length. They love to experiment with hairstyles too, but usually keep it back in a ponytail. Its base length stops just bellow their waist.
Their true form has silver, almost white.
Facial Features:
They choose not to grow facial hair. Their face is somewhat oval.
Eye Colour:
Heterochromatic. Left eye green, right eye bright brown. They keep round pupils and white sclera so not to freak anyone out, but obviously can change that at will.
When relaxed, they actually don't have pupils or sclera at all, leaving beautiful sparkling pools of each color. It's very alien-esque.
They wear glasses. No, changing their eyes does not make them any less blind. They're rectangle, silver wire framed, consistently falling from their face. So, they have a silver chain necklace hooked to them to catch them if they fall.
Markings and Features:
They tend to keep their freckles/small moles in all the same places. They have some scars from life, but tend to cover those with their ability. There's a whole web of scars following their nervous system in their back, see-able only in their true form.
They can choose to hide them, but they do have wings. Three pairs of long dragonfly wings from between their shoulders to their knees. Shimmering blue in tint.
They also tend to keep their long pointed ears from their true form, adorned with silver studs and small hoops. Usually keeping a cuff and chain which leads to a stud on their left ear. However, they do really enjoy decorative ear cuffs. Obviously they could change their ear shape if they wanted, though they'd have to take out their jewelry.
They have slightly pointed or sharper teeth from their fae race, and they could change this if they wanted. They don't want to; it's hardly noticeable since they talk so little.
Mannerisms:
Running their tongue over their front teeth while focusing or thinking.
Their wings twitch occasionally in response to the environment around them.
They wiggle their ears, which they do without usually noticing when their face twists with confusion.
They speak with their hands a lot, partially because they're a magic caster.
They stutter over full sentences on occasion.
When they fully relax, or their nervous system gets shocked/shot somehow, they revert to their true appearance.
Clothes:
They dress in looser clothes, mostly in browns and greens. They have brown slacks, and buckled boots that reach up their calves. A loose light green tunic top, and a large green cloak of a darker color. Their wings simply appear magically through their clothes.
Inventory:
They have a large brown shoulder bag, no doubt enchanted to be a haver sack, a larger form of a bag of holding. They keep their large green spell tome with them at all times. Several writing utensils. Plenty of crafting supplies and scraps. And lots of snacks. There are several other odds and ends.

Personality:
Timid till pushed to a point. They're rather eccentric and often childish. Somehow despite that, they are extremely mature and wise, probably because of the trauma.
They very often incorporate jokes and sarcasm, even under their breath. It can make them come off rude.
They're quite excitable when they've become comfortable around you and you get them talking.
"Flaws":
Severe social anxiety, and emotional trauma.
Electricity scares them greatly, and they flinch whenever near it. As it was used to bully them or test them for what they are when they were younger.
Abilities:
They're a wizard! They've spent a very long time teaching themself magic, drawing the shapes and studying the math. They're not very good at it in their opinion, but at least they're very smart.

Background:
Not your standard changeling fair. They weren't swapped with a human child, they were simply left. Luckily the human family raised them, until they discovered what Mio actually was. They started to resent this "new version" of them, making them an out cast. That was about when they moved out.
Their place is small and very rough. It's practically baren. But, it's a roof over their head while they finished out school and studied magic further. Once their peers became suspicious of them, due to them changing their appearance to one they prefer, they started using electric magic to expose them as a changeling. Then they did it just to bully them. It hurt and was very traumatizing. They have a large web of scars following their nervous system on their back in their true form.
Now-a-days they mainly keep to themself, visiting nature or a library most frequently.

They've also been drawn by some really awesome people!!!!
I was absolutely thrilled! This will probably be my profile pic for a very long time! Please check out his art here!!! (He also does Chibis of some of the awesome people in chat!)

Found Their Story!
Name
: Sueki Dixian
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: (We'll learn if it happens.)

Race: Human
Age: 22
Height: 5'4
Build: fairly rounded out, though slightly pear shaped
Skin Tone: She used to be very pale, but has tanned up a bit in the castle's garden
Hair: honey blonde hair which drips down her back in a long ponytail
Facial Features: decently fair features, though nothing that really stands out, a bit of a smaller nose, and her ears are shaped to be almost pointed
Eye Color: Hazel, but leaning more green
Markings and tattoos: Some light scarring here and there from physical abuse not healing properly
Clothes: She usually wears a lot of white or off white. Silver, powder yellow and green would look lovely as well though. She wears long sleeved dresses that reach down to cover her ankles, and she usually chooses flat shoes. She has a favorite sunhat which is light yellow with a white ribbon tied round it. She also keeps a small brown satchel over her shoulder.
Inventory: Her pink sapphire she found in a small pouch. Two or three notebooks, an ink pot, and a handful of quills.

Personality: Quiet and very reserved (More to be determined)
Weaknesses: Can't stay on her feet for long periods of time; her leg didn't properly heal after it broke, and she already had weak ankles to begin with.
Abilities: She excels at reading and has even started studying and teaching herself other written languages. She's fairly good at math. And, she started practicing embroidery at a very young age, so she's quite good at it.

Background:
She is the daughter of a Count. Their property was on the outskirts of the kingdom, and her family had earned this title due to their gem mines. However, when their mines became infested with horrible creatures, they became non harvestable and her family's value started to decline.
Her birth was a bright light for her father, but it didn't last very long… Three years after her birth, her mother grew terribly ill, and only a year after that she passed. This, coupled with the worsening state of their mines, made her father furious. He started to drink more, and cut out most people. For six years, till Sueki was ten, she did nothing but try to seek her father's approval. But, nothing she did was ever good enough, and it only kept reminding him of her mother. She was only met with abuse, verbal and physical. She was never debuted in society; in fact, the count had pulled out of the social antics long before Sueki's coming of age. Thus society didn't know she existed to worry about.
Her life completely changed one night. She snuck out of the house in the middle of a storm. She was heading for the closest of their mines, which was located 10 miles south of their property, but she wouldn't have known that. She walked for hours. She never found the entrance she was looking for, but she remembers slipping and falling in a hole. She was stuck for a while in terrible pain, till her leg went numb. Tears of frustration rolling down her face. Then, she got up determined and searched the cave for hours. She wanted to find a gem, any gem. She wanted to show her father that the mines weren't a lost cause. She didn't know there were monsters. She had only ever heard her father refer to the mines as dried up. So, she thought, "If I can find one crystal, if I can prove to father they're not…" And, they're not. She did find one, a beautiful pink sapphire which barely fit in her hand. She clung to it tightly. It was then that the monsters had also found her. She ran; it was all she could do. She doesn't remember who, but someone found her. They brandished a beautiful sword; the blade practically danced through the air in their hands. They had been practicing in the mines. They saw the state of her and escorted her home. She remembers them asking questions, about father and the mines and why she was even out there. The rest of the details are all fuzzy for her, blocked out by the trauma of it all. But, her savior must have told her answers to someone.
Her father was furious about the broken leg and the payment for a doctor. And, she stayed sick with a cold for at least a week. He didn't even listen about the crystal; of course he wouldn't hear her. After catching word of the current state of the count's territory, an investigation into it was started. Two years after, guards came to the count's estate. There were several and their armor was so beautiful and gleaming. They took the count, and they took Sueki. They claimed to be the king's guard. On a bright hot day, right in the middle of summer, it's clear in Sueki's memories. Her father was blamed for the state of their mines. For monsters being let into the kingdom's border. For being too prideful and not requesting aid when they clearly needed it. And, for the neglect of his daughter. He was stripped of his titles and his land, and he was sent to the dungeons. Sueki doesn't know what happened to him after that.
Sueki was taken in by the king. She wasn't adopted; she was merely a guest, given a room and raised in a separate guest palace. It was obviously much smaller than the main palace, but it was close enough to be connected to the garden. She spent days exploring that garden. She also found herself allowed to explore the bigger palace, so long as she stayed out of sight and out of the way. So, she spent most of her time in the grand library. Reading numerous stories and teaching herself things. She's been ignored for the past ten years. There aren't many who remember she's there a lot of the time. Though, they're vaguely aware to respect her; most choose to leave her be and pass by. She was unfortunately only taken in to make the king appear even better in the eyes of his people, just another pawn in social politics. She lingers in the back of balls and parties, keeping to herself. She was never really announced in society, and no one ever seems to notice her. Dressed in whites and with such a plain face, she could just be another maid for all they know. It's unsure if she possess her family's previous title or not. She could be a noble countess, but she could also very well just be a commoner at this point. She still has that sapphire; it's the most important thing to her. And, at least her one maid assigned to her treats her well. So, she lives life, quiet and tucked away.

Starting Goals: Making a name for herself and reclaiming her family's previous nobility title of Count

Searching for Their Story!
Name
: Lier Stelladonia
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexuality: Whoever he falls in love with.

I couldn't get his skin tone right. >~<
Lier-.png

Physical Characteristics: He has a lion tail of honey-brown fur, tufted with a slightly darker brown. He has elliptical wings, honey-brown like his lion tail. Each wing is roughly the same length as his height, but folded behind him they stop at his ankles. Elliptical wings aren't as streamlined when held out, they're rounder. They're good for taking off quickly and bursts of fast, tightly controlled flight. They're good for maneuvering, but regular flight is slower and requires flapping. He also has white tufted ears on top his head, which would stick up if he didn't tuck them back most of the time. They add an extra two inches to his height, and can flop if he emotes in certain ways.
Age: 20, nearly 21
Height: 5'10
Build: Fairly lean, though rather thin.
Skin Tone: Olive skin (Mediterranean, where griffins originate from.)
Hair: His hair is white; it grows thick and fluffy. It naturally has big wavy curls to it. He keeps it cut just above his shoulders, though when fully flat from being wet it'd land an inch below them. He does tie it back in a small, loose low ponytail to keep it out of his way. However, the assistants assigned to help him get ready each day have no consideration for his preferences. They pull his hair back straight against his scalp into a higher ponytail and attempt to brush it straight, which never lasts. This often traps his ears in an uncomfortable way.
Facial Features/Beard: He has an oval shaped face with a slimmer nose. Floofed eyebrows, brown like the tuft of his tail.
Eyes: Bright yellow with round pupils which can widen and shrink like a cat's.
Markings and tattoos: There's a birthmark on the left of his neck, a small blob of lighter colored skin.

Clothes/Extras: Black tall boots are his go to shoes. He's dressed mainly in the blues of the royal family. His tail isn't taken into consideration, so he's had to modify most of them himself. The wings were harder to ignore. He wears tank tops as his under layer. Dress shirts were trickier; they elected to just cut out gaps large enough in the back. It's the obnoxious vests and jackets which were given actual customization. The sleeves go on, then the center buttons at the bottom in the back, then the front buttons up like normal. They're very uncomfortable for him, made of stiffer materials and as close around his wings as possible.
Personality: Abrasive, smug at times, energetic, quick tempered
Abilities: Flight, cat-like balance

Background/Notes: King Galan Stelladonia has never shared the world's view on primordial races; they're just other cultures. But, with all of the myths and stories told and built off the gods, several misconceptions are made. "Gorgons are ones who have been disloyal!" "Minotaurs are born to punish humanity!" "Arachne tried to out-best the gods!" "Naga attained knowledge they weren't supposed to have!" "Griffins stole from the gold of kings!" There are many more. They only hear what they want to hear, turning beautiful tales from these varying cultures into harsh lessons for humanity. As if these races started as "perfect" humans and got punished for betraying the gods. In reality, the primordial races on many- if not most occasions- were the most loyal to the gods.
King Galan when he was younger had spent a lot of time traveling and learning the realities of these cultures. He grew to love how different they actually were. When he became king, he asked many of them if they would send people over. He gave them jobs and titles, trying to prove to his kingdom that the primordials aren't punished; they're gifted. But, none have responded particularly well. Of course they act shiny and supportive of their king, but their true feelings weren't exactly subtle.
King Galan has two human concubines, and has three children from them. Crown Prince Ceric, the eldest at 25, who is currently out traveling much like his father did and has been for five years. The twins Prince Kade and Princess Kylie, age 23. However, Galan found himself falling for yet another woman who frequents his castle, Rhea Drivas. She's a griffin-kin used as a messenger to other kingdoms. Though, she was forced to take a break when they found she was pregnant with Prince Lier. She has a few traits her son doesn't, since he's half human. Rhea has lion's feet, and her fingers end in talons on top of the other features which Lier did inherit. Otherwise, she looks mainly human.
Lier was taken care of by his mom for the first six to seven years of his life, which is the only reason he has any idea how to take care of his wings. Those first years were the most peaceful for him. His mom taught him things about their culture and stood up for him a lot. Then Rhea went back to being a messenger. She still spends time at the castle, but is gone for months at a time. She's gone currently. Being the youngest prince and half primordial got him a lot of shit growing up. His father loves all his children and tries to treat them fairly; he's too busy to truly spend any time with them. Ceric lead the charge of Lier's harassment, but even after he left the other two persisted. Lier's debut in society was at age 10, and it was not received very well. There had already been several rumors about his existence, and a lot of backlash for it. So, for the king to have him so proudly announced was a shock. There were gasp, mumbles and whisper thrown about the whole night. Most everyone avoided him or made terrible comments about his mother and culture. At one point he dismissed himself, hiding away in his favorite spot and not returning to his room till late in the night. His wings didn't fully develope to carry him until age 13. He goes to all of his mandatory classes, and went to sword training for a while. He never got very good at the sword though. His siblings started to abuse the class as yet another way to haras him, so he started skipping it. The teachers tried to stop this by having classes, then lunch, then escorting the children directly to sword practice. But, Lier elected to just skip lunch as well then.
His favorite hiding spot in the castle is a tall tower which no one seems to come up to anymore, or at least very rarely. It's used as storage for old and dusty things. Journals and old books. The portraits, armor, and weapons of previous kings. And, gifts from other cultures. He's spent hours up there, resorting things and piecing together tales an timelines. He's left a window up there unlocked, and he often flies up to it and dodges in when no one is looking.

Searching for Their Story!
Name
: Christopher Neovian
Pronouns: He/him
Sexuality: (We'll find out.)

Race: Human
Age: 25
Height: 5'10
Build: Well built from gardening and consistently moving things around the house.
Skin Tone: Tanned from working in the garden.
Hair: Naturally blond, though the ends are discolored a bright pink right now. It was a potion experiment gone wrong at the begining of the year. He's been trimming it off slowly as it grows, but he likes to keep his hair a bit longer. Thankfully, he actually really likes pink. He likes to keep it back in a small ponytail.
Facial Features: A very handsome face, a decent jawline, freckles across his cheeks and nose, and he usually shaves but occasionally has a brunet five o'clock shadow.
Eye Color: Bright blue eyes with a pale gold at the center. Wears black, circle rimmed glasses.
Markings and tattoos: A moth tattoo on his inner right arm, surrounded by vines which climb around the arm.
Clothes: Long, hooded cardigans. Baggy, half-sleeved shirts. Work pants, and when he's not wearing his house shoes he does own boots. He wears mainly blues, sporting some pink occasionally.
Inventory: He has a worn brown leather backpack, usually slung over his shoulder. He keeps his mom's flower press on him, and some homemade sap tack. One of the journals is bound in darker leather and has pages filled with pressed plants. He can draw, but it reminds him of his mom's art. So, he resorts to the pressed plants instead. He has two journals of lighter leather, written and illustrated by his mom. He keeps a small pouch of broken charcoal pencils to write with. There are also various sizes and shapes of different glass bottles and vials. He keeps sage to burn, and a whittled down stick of rowan wood. Keeps most things back, not all. And, a silver letter opener, which was his father's, he keeps sheathed and in his back pocket. Too many run ins with a few wild animals taught him to keep some sort of defense.

Personality: He's been a loner for a long time, so he comes off very flat most of the time. He's a smart-ass. But, he really does care for people in need; his mom raised him to be that way. He's also very dedicated to studying his craft.

Abilities: Most all of his skills started as things his mom taught him. He's always been very good with potions, both real potions and just herbal remedies. He's started trying to figure out how to enchant objects using materials, but to no success yet. He's very good at gardening. And, crows are rather partial to him, since his mom befriended them and he reminds them of her.

Background:
He grew up in a village, raised on stories his mom would tell. She taught him everything she could about anything. It didn't make sense to her that family secrets only get passed on daughter to daughter. She spent a lot of time helping the town with ailments. That's where Christopher got his deep need to help people.
Around when he was twelve, going on thirteen, his mother passed away due to an illness. She had been ill for a while, but she stayed very strong and stone faced. She focused on the people she wanted to help, and on being there for her son. He became a loner shortly after that. He'd occasionally make cures for the town, but nothing ever felt as good as his mom's.
That older house in the woods had always been there, overgrown and unkempt. He was out gathering one day when he found it; one of his mom's crow friends seemingly leading him to it. That's when he found a lot more about magic. So, he retreated into it, and that's where he is to present.

Starting Goals: His base goals are to learn how to enchant things, and he doesn't know it yet but I'd like him to become a great healer like his mother was. He currently lives in his mother's original home, a house in the woods on the edge of a town. But, he grew up in that town with his mother healing the townsfolk and teach him things. He only became a recluse after her death. So, there's a character growth goal too to get him less reclusive eventually. Other than that, anything could happen to kick things off and start the story.

Searching for Their Story!

Name: Heather Dylan Sunrift
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Whoever wins her over

Race: Human
Age: 20
Height: 5'6
Build: Very slender
Skin Tone: Pale, though vaguely golden
Hair: Long, straight, platnium blonde
Facial Features: Her ears are round and stick out a bit. Her face is oddly void of the usual wrinkles which one one develop from smiling.
Eye Colour: Her eyes are blue layered on magenta and shine like gem stones, and they're full of solemness.
Markings and tattoos: Pristine flawless skin. She's not allowed to get hurt.
Clothes: Dressed in red fabrics and white furs with gold lace. Though, I feel she may also look borgeous in blue and magenta. She's usually coated in gold jewelry and red or blue jewels. A heavy crown is always placed on her head.
Inventory: The most she really keeps on her is a handkerchief, maybe a scrap of paper occasionally.
Additional notes:

Personality: She expresses herself rather coldly. She's a very sad person as it currently stands, though stubbornly proud and dutiful in a defeated way.
Weaknesses: Her lack of tact. And, raspberry flavored anything.
Abilities: Very inteligent, as she's being raised to be the next queen of her kingdom. So, your standard maths, embroidery and etiquette.

Background: Heather is the only child of the Sunrift family. And, as she is not a male, she has been raised into the perfect bride and to be the next queen. Her life is full of duties and chores and courtships. She's left wondering, is her life even hers?

Found Their Story!
Alignment:
Chaotic Good
Real Name: Temple Repairsman (Though a young girl once dubbed them Ive, so that's what they will offer when asked.)
Age: 32
Gender: None (Construct)
Race: Warforged
Class: Cleric
Background: Guild Artisan? (The dwarves who built them kind of own them.)
Social Status: None? Treated as a tool rather than a person.
Hair: None.
Eyes:
Pale yellow and lightly glowing.
Skin: Metal, steel with the surface abused like a shield would be.
Height: 6'2ft
Weight: 286lbs
Body Type: Well built, human in structure, with broader shoulders and sturdier built legs.

Appearance: Humanoid to appear less intimidating, but the height and metal perfectly counters that. Their jaw line is very angular, and there is a line for an emotionless mouth. But, when they speak it does not open; the sound just projects around them. They weren't given a nose. Their eyes are round, almost oval, and they don't have eyelids but flicker as if blinking. Their body looks as if a set of chainmail was melded into them. The metal of their form is welded flesh together, but there are thin crevices where the yellow light slips through. Their feet are pre-molded into boots. In their arms are nooks which hold mason's tools which magnetize onto their hands, though most things can just be done with the metal of their hands to begin with.
Attire: Despite not needing to wear any at all, they find that fabric softens the initial reactions when people see them. They wear brown work pants and a blue shirt which is far too large and thus shows the chainmail aspect. They keep their sleeves rolled up.
Personality: Respectful, usually rational, rather emotionless
Flaws: Emotionless (until taught otherwise), takes things quite literal at times

Proficient Skills: Wise and oddly Charismatic in an endearing robot way. They've studied history and religion enough in passing to be fairly well at it. They're very insightful and perceptive, and they are somehow able to persuade others. They're very efficient in masonry and carpentry, simple weapons and shields. They speak mainly common, have picked up some vague bits of celestial from the carvings in temple stonework, and are fluent in dwarvish the language of their creators.
Skills they've learned temple hopping: Using the stars as a map to navigate. They only started to learn hunting, animal prep and cooking; they aren't amazing at it but do their best. They are in no way proficient in medicine with robot hands, but they do have pretty good knowledge of it. And, while carpentry and masonry are their main focus, they have picked up wood and stone carving from the dwarves who created them.

Special Talents: Their divine domain is Unity. Currently they have a skill called Emboldening Bond, so long as the two willing creatures it's used on stay within 30ft of each other, they benefit each other. They can Channel Divinity, Turning Undead -which causes undead within 30ft to flea for a minute- and in another way called Shared Burden. As a reaction they can split the amount of pain the person being attacked receives between them and up to 3 others currently. If anyone would resist the affliction normally, they still have that resistance.

Equipment: They carry a steel warhammer with them, the head of which is designed as if to be used as a sledge hammer. They also keep a light crossbow made of a brighter colored wood. They don't keep very many bolts, reusing the same 20 and replacing them whenever possible. They carry a backpack if they must travel, containing 10 torches, a mes kit, a tinder box, carpenter's tools, 50ft hemp rope and a user's manual. They have a small coin pouch of 15gp for repair costs. They don't have a holy symbol per say, but they do have a small pouch of temple stone shards which act in its place.

The Backstory Ive Knows: They were created by dwarves for temple maintenance. Spent a few years being shown off before being passed around. As a construct, they lack emotions. Having worked on several churches and temples their entire creation, they've collected a list of morals. Things which may be right and good. They've assessed that for some living beings, religion is their purpose. And, as a construct built for one reason, one purpose, they found themself relating in this way to the living. As some form of respect, they have been doing what of the worship practices they can to all of these gods. There was something endearing about it, akin to naming an inanimate object which you're fond of simply for being there and doing nothing but what it was meant to. The temple upkeep was much appreciated, and the extra worship is nice. Cute even, coming from a construct with no full picture of what they're doing. Would it hurt to give them a spell or two? Well, no, but every god of a repaired temple seemed to have the same idea. So, they became a cleric, both of no god and of many and completely by accident.

The Whole Backstory:
Ive is an old forge hammer head. Piece of the old wood handle still stuck in place, though the splinters were sanded down at one point. The metal itself is scarred with nicks and actually chipped at one corner.
The hammer was well loved and frequently used when it was in top shape. It belonged to a dwarven artificer named Murmyr Grelbreg. He spent many days- well, more his whole life- forging and enchanting items on convenience. Glowing lanterns, bags of holding, totems that play memories, weapons that do a little extra. He was an Ascended Craftsman for a long while, and- while not a strongly devout follower- he did nod gratefully to the goddess Heddeline on occasion.
It was an ordinary day, he was doing his usual routine. A hearty breakfast, a morning coffee stout ale. He'd stepped outside to hear the grav train speed by right at the time it always did.
.......................................And, there she was.
The bassinet was carved from a piece of wood. It wasn't enchanted, but it was covered in protective symbols and some that Murmyr couldn't read or recognize. The symbols were celestial. Phrases of inspiration that were possibly said by Heddeline herself at one point before her ascension to goddess. The craftsmanship was high quality. And, in the bassinet, wrapped in a red blanket, was a chubby, rosey face peacefully sound asleep. He'd nearly choked on his ale. That was how he ended up with Ivellene.
He had objected at first of course. Raising a baby doesn't exactly help one focus on their craft. But, the moment she opened her dark brown eyes, he was reminded of a love he'd never even pursued. Ivellene was strawberry blonde as a baby, so when it grew into a curled wave of ruby red it was a beautiful shock. It was almost as if she had Heddeline's blood in her veins. When pulled back in one of her many blue bandanas, the child could almost be mistaken for her.
Ivellene was fascinated by her father's craft, spending every moment she could in his workshop. She'd fiddle with things on the desk, stacking or clicking them together to create as well. And, that was how she found that broken hammer head. It had been tossed on the desk for later disposal, then forgotten during the task at hand. She loved that it was damaged; that it had been used so much to the point of breaking. It had helped to create so many things. The wear and tear on the thing was honorable, and in her eyes very valuable. She adopted it, sanding off the splinters herself. It amused Murmyr, her fondness of the thing as if it were alive. So, he made it alive. It's annoying to be down a spell slot when you're an enchanter with so few, but it made her so happy when he'd cast tiny servant. The hammer head would sprout little limbs and hobble around. It'd bring her bits and pieces while she was crafting things. Then one day he had a thought, and so he started a very long project. It was made especially longer, since it was only worked on in between things.
And, Murmyr would never see its completion. He died naturally of old age; the project had gathered dust for maybe a few years. With Ivellene at his side, he cast tiny servant one more time for her. But, unlike every other time, the spell never ran out. The servant would continue to help with all her projects. Then one day they'd discover Murmyr's blueprints hidden on the desk. And, delighted, Ivellene would continue the project, focusing on it. It'd still take a few years to complete.
The hammer now had a body. A construct forged piece by piece, runes etched on the inside imbued with enchanted inks and spell components. The tiny servant would be placed as the core, taking over the bigger form of the spell and thus the body. It was a masterpiece of dwarven craftsmanship, and ascended Ivellene to an Ascended Craftsman in the eyes of many. They'd go to many of the yearly craftsmen festivals and be shown off, though they were never meant to be the focus. With a body came a more direct name, though she had always called them helper anyways.
Unfortunately, despite all the other things Ivellene had to offer, Helper was always the center of attention. Which wasn't a problem, till it was. Helper always had a horrible habit of shutting down at odd times. If they didn't stop to rest occasionally, or even sometimes if they did, they'd just shut down again as if the magic was recovering or rebooting. Sometimes the magic signals allowing them to run would misfire and just needed time to find its way back again.
It was during one of the craftsmen festivals. Helper went off to get something or other, then they got turned around. Then, there was an untimely shut down. Others that were greedy, and perhaps a little jealous, took the opportunity and stole Helper away.
Platinum Prowess is the dwarven group which kidnapped Helper. A group which wants a piece of every pie. Acquiring advanced magics and technologies, and using them to climb the social ladder. If they were doing any actual good, maybe there'd be a positive side of this. But, they mostly just appeal to the more important factions and leaders, trying to come off as important as they can. And, they acquire this power in terrible underhanded ways.
Helper woke up in what seemed to be some sort of storage room for magical tech. They scared the poor inventory worker to death when they started moving for the first time in the month since they got there. Being so far from Ivellene then kept in an anti-magic field, it took longer than usual for the magic signals to re-catch. But, it was long enough for them to temporarily forget who they are, defaulting to the spell tiny servant. Before their magic signals could re-catch their memories, they were redirected and re-instructed into Temple Repairsman. A way for Platinum Prowess to appeal to the churches and people in that way.
Temple Repairsman traveled the dwarven kingdom for a while, several years passing. It kept them too busy to recover their memories, as each new task and directed purpose would become the new priority and they'd work through that list newest to oldest. Eventually, many of the deities noticed the construct's abnormal dedication and decided to throw some power their way, making them a cleric of not one, but all of them.
For one reason or another, it became necessary to send Temple Repairsman to another country and kingdom. They kept in contact for a while but eventually lost all direct contact. Their last order was to keep going to different temples and churches to maintenance them, so that is what they're on autopilot doing. They write to Platinum Prowess, receiving no contact back, but continuing to send progress reports.
To say that Ivellene was heartbroken would be a huge under statement. She looked for hours. Then weeks. Then years. Cleaning up shop and all other work. She became determined to find Helper, traveling and picking up as many clues as possible. She didn't stop Platinum Prowess from everything they do, but she successfully made them panic. They gave Helper an order, hoping Ivellene won't be able to find them and that they can reclaim the construct later on. Then they cut contact, hoping to cover it up or get her off their backs. It's been months. She's still looking, though she has strayed away from investigating Platinum Prowess. It was never a goal of hers to take them down, just to find Helper. Perhaps she's one step closer, having just landed in Shara-Tel. Platinum Prowess is also looking again now, hiring mercenaries as needed to try and reclaim such a valuable piece of dwarven craftsmanship.
Temple Repairsman acquired the name Ive from a young girl who named them after the plant they were clearing. The name resonated with Murmyr's magic still in their core, and they decided to adopt the name, unaware of its actual significance to them.

Abilities: Has a strong enough bond with her main six that she speaks to them as if they're talking back. Very smart and knows a lot about most common Pokemon things. A fairly skilled trainer, though mostly carried by her team.

Background: A few of her Pokemon found her while she was growing up in the Hoenn region. She traveled, completing many of the gyms and fleshing out the rest of her team. But, she never challenged the Elite Four. She got caught up in studying the Pokemon and became fascinated by mega-evolution. During her studies at home, she heard of a Pokemon academy in the Paldea region. She left at age twenty straight for that school. When she learned all she could from there, she returned home. Freshly moved into a new apartment in [placeholder town], with shit all for belongings. Now she has to figure out the next step. What all could she use her knowledge for? And, how could she start learning even more? Guess she'll have to figure that out.

Starting Goals: Wants to be a Pokemon professor, and is studying mega-evolution. Though she is fascinated and will side quest for any study.

These will be her main six Pokemon. She always keeps at least two of them with her at all times. However, since they are a bit stubborn about staying in their poke-balls, she changes them up with the Pokemon in her portable PC. As other Pokemon are noted during her story, they'll be added to a list here. But instead of the sheets themselves, each Pokemon name will be a link instead. These will lead to a pokedex entry in the world building thread, and their sheet will be there and labeled who they belong to.
