You step into a used bookstore, breathing in the smell of dust and worn ink. The shelves are neatly organized, made of old dark wood. Mio is curled up in their chair at the counter, buried in their notes. There's a sign on the desk which says,
"Please make sure to read over my RT first as well please! It'll tell you more about my writing style and me! I'd also like to see your RT too, so I have more to determine if we might be a good match!"
They haven't even noticed you walk in. Let's wait to disturb them and have a look around first.

This story features the characters Sueki Dixian and Shiress Underhill. These pages show pictures of the characters and provide some more information about them.

On another page is an elegantly drawn timeline of the previous events up to the current year.

The authors are Shiress and MioBrave. There's a brief summary of each.

Thank you to Inner Sanctum for providing a place to find wonderful writing partners and create amazing stories. And, thank you to anyone who decides to stalk this thread. Whether it's to read the story or see how either of us write; thank you for taking the time to read this story.

  • You pick up a book, paperback but sturdy. The front cover is a darker blue and patterned like water. Green leaves reflect on the water's surface. The title in silver lettering reads "𝓡𝓮𝓬𝓵𝓪𝓲𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓞𝓾𝓻 𝓗𝓸𝓷𝓸𝓻 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓨𝓸𝓾". Below it are the author names, 𝓢𝓱𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓼 and 𝓜𝓲𝓸 𝓑𝓻𝓪𝓿𝓮.
You flip to the back. The back cover shows and elegant sword decorated in gold and blue gems. Across from it is a had which holds a pink gemstone. Fit perfectly between the two is the book's synopsis.

You flip back to the front cover, looking it over again. You almost place the book back on the shelf, but your hand lingers. Just the first paragraph couldn't hurt, just to give it a chance. Of course, flipping through the first few pages, you get the usual fluff. A bit more about the authors. A decorative page with the timeline leading to the story. A prologue for the characters. And, a thank you to Inner Sanctum. It's intriguing. Maybe you'll take this book with you after all.

Here's the thread the story is in if you wanna read!
