Yay, it's spooky season again!
This thread will no longer get bumped after Halloween and will only resurface again next year around the same time, so get these stories while I'm advertising them ;)
I am looking to strictly play the female role in these pitches. With the exceptions of course of NPCs... it is after all only fair to share the burden of npc work.
Here I have compiled a collection of my stories that lean heavily towards the spooky spook, some of which are reserved exclusively for Spooky season.
Halloween night, MC is abducted by a coven of witches to be one of six virgin sacrifices in order to restore 'The Undying King' to his physical form.
Much to MC's shock, the high priestess receives a command from this 'Undying King' and forces one of the coven members known to be a virgin to be sacrificed in MC's place… because MC has been chosen for a different purpose…
When the this 'Undying King' regains physical form and takes his place as the rightful ruler of all witches… he has commanded that MC will be his queen…
Da Fuk?! Why?!
What MC doesn't know is that she is the descendent of the knight that struck down the 'Undying King' so many years ago... that might be at least part of it...
Last Halloween, MC had the craziest erotic dream… this sexy Gothic vampire came to her and made love to her, she had no idea who he was and was damn sure she'd never seen anyone resembling him before while awake.
The dream ended with him telling her that he would give her one year to say goodbye to mortal life, bid farewell to her family and old friends, then on the next Halloween night, he would come to collect her, he would make her a vampire and she would begin her undead life as his bride.
Naturally, MC knows it was just a dumb dream and not to take something so stupid seriously. It was only a weird sex dream. Right? So she woke up with her lower regions a little sore, but… that could be after effects from her last period… right? Right?!
She's about to find out how wrong she was. Tonight is All Hallows Eve.
(I'm totally fine with going back and doing the 'dream' as well if my partner wants to do that, otherwise we can start with the Halloween night that he returns for MC)
MC believes she is just an ordinary girl living the ordinary life of an ordinary merchant's daughter, but she couldn't possibly be any more wrong.
What MC doesn't know is that she comes from two long lines of werewolf hunters and her parents decided to retire from the life in order to have a peaceful contented life and give their child something better and brighter than monsters all her life. Her father became a merchant of herbs and spices, utilizing his extensive knowledge of the forests around them and the plants that grew there, while MC's mother specialized in cloth, silks and other textiles thanks to the worldly connections her family possessed from their years of monster hunting and some grateful people they had saved.
As of now, MC's parents think that life is entirely behind them after uprooting themselves and moving to a prosperous village very, very far away from any of their former enemies… they were wrong.
They were tracked by a pack of werewolves whose Alpha MC's paternal grandmother had killed many years ago and now, they were going to take their revenge.
When news reaches MC's family that her grandmother living in a lovely comfortable cabin in the forest had taken ill, it was agreed that MC would travel to her grandmother's cabin and care for her.
When MC begins her trek into the forest, wearing her usual red cloak and carrying a basket filled with healing herbs provided by her father, she has no idea she is being stalked.
The idea is that MC is being followed by the grandson of the Alpha MC's grandmother had killed. When MC accidentally leads him and the werewolves under his command to her grandmother's cabin, the old huntress is done away with and MC is abducted… originally, MC was supposed to die as well, but YC… he liked her scent… a lot…

This is inspired by my playthrough of The Groom of Gallagher Mansion, This will be like a sequel of sorts to the game, if you want to play it, it's 5 bucks on steam, or I could record a playthrough that you can watch… or perhaps my description in the spoiler will be plenty enough.
In the game, you play as one part of a paranormal research group hosted by your local college, Taylor, the president of the club and your best friend makes you dress up as a bride (or groom) to go into the mansion to entice the spurned and murdered groom Elias Gallagher to appear.
You lie and tell him that you were abandoned at the altar and came to mansion to hide away as you wept away your sorrows, Elias then proposes that to alleviate both your pain, you two should marry each other instead.
There are like four paths you can take, but I chose the love path… which does indeed lead to you marrying the spirit of Elias Gallagher, he whips up a will that allows you to take control of his estate and assets, from there you, Elias and your best friend Taylor open up a Haunted Flower Shop, because Elias has a passion for flowers.
That is the short version of it.
Now then, somehow, someway… MC is the daughter of the game MC and Elias, no one is entirely sure how it's possible for a ghost to impregnate a living mortal, but it would seem their successful attempts to Elias becoming solid enough for intercourse did result in a child being conceived.
There is no doubt in Elias's mind that the child is his, especially when the girl begins showing ghostly powers, despite being absolutely 100% alive.
Speed up to present day, Rosalyn Gallagher works as a successful spirit medium, catering mostly to lower income families being tormented by the dead and desperately needing help… plus she kinda has a chip on her shoulder about the elite after the way her father was treated in life, even if it was during the 1800s with many having a very ignorant mentality at the time. On occasion, she'll take a job from the wealthy, but mostly when the situation is dire enough that she can't in good conscience ignore it.
Was thinking the next job Rosalyn takes could be what draws YC to her… a supernatural entity confused, curious and more than a little intrigued by the beautiful young woman radiating ghostly energy.
We can discuss what YC would be, but I definitely want him to be something supernatural.

In Eliana Weston's town, there is a cemetery off the beaten path that everyone stay away from… cursed, the elder townsfolk call it… the story associated with the place and the reason people call it cursed, is this:
A long, long time ago, way back when the town was first being established and colonized… there was a young man from England, he was handsome and intelligent, a scholar looking to expand upon his wealth of knowledge in a new place… he apparently had fallen in love with the local priest's daughter and she had seemed to be quite taken with his handsome good looks, his keen intellect and his impeccably good manners… the accent didn't hurt either.
However, there was one problem… while he wasn't poor, he wasn't exactly wealthy either… and this particular girl had had quite enough of living with less, she known nothing else with her father being a priest and expecting her to give up just as much as he did…
The story went on to say that the girl had agreed to marry him anyway and they intended to run away together back to his home in England, but first they were going to exchange private vows of marriage together in their favorite field where they always met up to be alone…
The girl did not come to the field alone… she brought the wealthy mayor's son with her…
Apparently, she intended to marry the mayor's son instead and have the luxurious life she always dreamed of… but one loose thread remained before they could wed… the young man was the only one that could reveal that she has given herself to him outside the bonds of marriage and if that got out, the mayor would never allow his son to marry her.
So they intended to silence him. Forever.
Heartbroken betrayal stung at the young man as the mayor's son put several shots from a repeating rifle into his chest… the two of them left him then to bleed out alone… completely alone…
Ever since, whenever the young man's full name is ever spoken aloud, a terrible tragedy will occur in the life of the speaker... and if spoken in the graveyard itself? The speaker is doomed to an untimely death at an unpredictable time.
It's said that if a maiden, a unmarried virgin specifically, comes into the cemetery and declares "Yes! (Insert YC's name), I will marry you!"... then the young man would appear and take her away with him to the underworld, where they would be married and while the maiden would never return, the curse of the cemetery would be lifted as the young man's loneliness and heartbreak was also lifted.
Well, one night nearing Halloween, Eliana's friends give her a ballsy dare… if she goes into that 'cursed' cemetery alone and stays during during the night for two whole hours, something no one in their town has ever had the guts to do and prove the legend is rubbish and there is no stupid ghost, zombie or whatever the hell the young man supposedly became… they will all collectively pool together money to give Eliana a prize of five hundred dollars.
She agrees.

Plague tore through MC's village with a vengeance, killing so many, including every last member of her family… only she and a handful of others were spared…
All is not yet lost for MC though… there was a legend about a nearby cave containing a powerful bound demon prince, upon this demon prince's neck was an amulet and this amulet was capable of restoring people to life. For a mortal though, it was said the amulet's power was limited to two people… hence why she kept her plans to herself instead of telling the other survivors, she couldn't risk them going after the amulet themselves and stealing her opportunity from her to have her parents back.
Her plan, sneak past the guards from the temple of light and get into the cave, snatch the amulet from the bound demon prince and bring her parents back to life.
When she goes to snatch it however, the prince (YC) issues her a bargain… if she agrees to his terms, he'll restore the entire village back to life in an instant… free him from his chains… and agree to birth him an heir conceived upon the light god's altar… on All Hallows Eve.

MC is an outcast is an outcast is her own home, her mother treats her as a mistake she made with her previous husband, her stepfather practically ignores her and her stepsisters torment her endlessly.
When the family travels far up north on Halloween to settle an inheritance from MC's late father… that her mother intends to steal from her… her stepsisters basically abduct MC and take her deep into the woods, they think it's their amazing good fortune when they find this cave and throw MC inside, they tell her to go deep into the cave system and spend the night in there, otherwise they'll beat her up if she tries coming back to her late father's ancestral house before the sun rises.
They leave cackling like the evil hags they are.
Before MC can bust into tears, she hears a soft voice calling out to her, she can't understand why, but she follows the voice like a moth to flame.
She eventually find a handsome young man with white hair and glowing violet eyes, bound up in chains… he tells her that if she frees him and agrees to be his forever, in every way possible… he'll punish anyone who ever wronged her and elevate her to the life she truly deserves.

The government made an agreement with the more aggressive types that require to feed… like vampires on blood, werewolves on human hearts, incubi/succubi on energy and the list goes on… one night a year, they made abduct their blood thralls, hunt for hearts to put on ice, drain a few humans and store some energy away… whatever they have to do, just do it in one night. No one will hunt them, there will be no consequences whatsoever.
YC is the leader of a coven of Goth vampires… the hair, the make up, the clothes, it's like their uniform, a symbol of pride if you will. (it's a requirement for me, I'm craving a goth boy so bad, absolutely not budging on this).
For months, YC has had his eye on MC ever since watching her boldly shove some pervy drunk off her friend in a club… his interest in her has only grown stronger and now, Purge Night will give him the perfect opportunity to snatch her up and make her his eternal bride… and not one damn soul will attempt to stop him. He's never loved Purge Night more.

This is mostly backstory, unless my partner wants to do all of this too.
Seven months ago, Belle Taylor was convinced by her group of friends to go with them in the dead of night to investigate this old huge ass abandoned mansion on the edges of town, the rumors all say it's seriously haunted… the prime ghost being the son of the family that originally owned the place way back in the early 1800s, the stories go that the father was corrupt and horrible, especially towards the servants. Apparently more than a few servants went missing, absolutely nothing done to find them or any involvement from the law at all really.
Supposedly a few of the maids that disappeared had also coincidentally rejected sexual advances from the son as well. Those women were never seen or heard from again, no bodies were ever unearthed over the years to prove any of this for certain.
If the stories were true, the servants got pissed off and decided to plot together to kill the entire family… it happened in the dead of night in the middle of December… the family was slaughtered in their beds and by morning, all of the servants had cleared out of the mansion with whatever valuable jewelry, silver or art pieces of value that they could carry with enough speed to evade the law.
Belle's best friend Henry wants to get famous on youtube with unfudged video evidence of ghost activity… and while she thinks it's all hogwash, it's his birthday and it's just one night, what is the worst that could happen? So long as they prepare well and be safe, it would all be okay.
Unfortunately for Belle, they are indeed being stalked through the halls of the mansion and all sights are locked on her… beautiful raven haired Belle…
All hell breaks loose as the small group finds themselves under ghostly attack and are chased through the mansion. Belle herself finds herself locked inside one of the elegant bedrooms, confronted by a handsome ghost claiming to have fallen instantly and passionately in love with her… and now, she's going to die and stay with him for all eternity… he's done being all alone in this big mansion…
Belle manages to break a window and escape by climbing down drain pipes and a few trellises, Henry and their friend Ethan thankfully got out as well as the ghost was focused primarily on Belle.
Unbeknownst to them, not long after… some rich dude and his buddies enter the mansion as well and the handsome wealthy young man found himself possessed by the ghost the dead young nobleman…
Over the six months since, he's learned everything about this guys life and taken over everything, seizing this chance to live again… there is just one thing left he wants…
