Hello Sanctum Dwellers!
As many of you know, tomorrow, April 4th, is the second Anniversary of The Inner Sanctum opening its doors. To celebrate two years of phenomenal writing, our monthly challenge for this month is simple:
Show us your absolute best writing.
For this month, we are allowing submission of any content you feel reflects your absolute best writing. It can be a short story, a roleplay post, a past challenge entry, a poem or a completely new idea you just needed a good reason to write out. To make a submission, post it as a thread in this forum.
As far as restrictions, we have only three requests:
1. Please keep the length reasonable. We aren't setting a hard limit on length, but please don't copy paste a full-length novel into your thread. After all, we want people to have a chance to read these for the voting
2. If you use a roleplay post as your submission you feel requires context, please include it as a (brief) blurb at the top of the post.
3. Posts that include torture, gore or are excessively pornographic should be avoided. Violence and sex are allowed and reader discretion is advised, but if you include them please try to choose a sample that is somewhat mid-range.
Submission deadline is Sunday, April 22nd. Voting will open soon after.
As always, all participants will receive a badge, with a special one for the top voted submission.
As an added bonus: The winning submission will be a featured thread on the site for one month.
