My Characters

Felix Lydrin: A scholar (usually a wizard depending on the role play) with a tendency to be overly anxious, particular, and finicky. Even though his clumsy, awkward, and nit-picking personality makes him easy to tease, he is a good individual merely seeking to better the world with knowledge.

Felix is a former student who was recently exiled from his college following the death of his mother. Because he is a half-elf, his Elven college
considered him to be impure, thus unwelcome, but his mother's archmage status allowed him to remain a student and have a home... until she passed on due to an unknown and seemingly incurable plague. Only days after his mother's funeral, he was forced to leave and seek another life despite not at all being ready.

Felix was never the type to have friends considering how unwelcome he was where he had been raised. Often picked on, berated, and even a
victim of assault., he was forced to isolate himself; therefore he is not particularly certain how to socialize or behave among people. His only friend was his mother, which caused repercussions: He was coddled, and now he is a mousy, picky, fragile, and frightened young adult who may become overly attached to people who show him kindness or affection, especially during this time of grief and isolation as he aimlessly travels. Beinyg alone and abused by peers will make a person have some nervous quirks:
-He is obnoxiously organized and anal about about most things.
-He tends to point out anything that disgusts him- even if that thing is on another person.
-Terrified of women and men(especially women) he finds himself attracted to, so he makes a fool of himself.
-Has a stutter.
-Deals with compulsive urges such as counting over and over again or checking.
-He wears gloves most of the time, especially when in nature or among "dirty" people.
-Clumsy because he is always over thinking and in his mind.
-Picks apart items or his nails due to anxiety, and he sometimes chews on his lip so much it may bleed.
-Etc

Being thrown out into the rough world is challenging for Felix. He is an easy target due to his behavior and his high-class appearance and
mannerisms. Lacking street smarts, he carries and blazons his wealth on him.
Though most of the world terrifies him, Felix is strong and pushes himself for the sake of one main dedication: Researching magic and
alchemy in order to provide the world with medicinal knowledge and cures to devastating diseases. He yearns to find a cure to the plague that killed his mother and he yearns to tend to those who are sick and dying.

Appearance:
Felix has a small, scrawny frame and a short stature (5'4). His facial features are elegant, pointy, and handsome, but his awkward demeanor makes him unattractive and dorky. His eyes are an intense blue, which contrasts with his pasty skin and ebony hair. His hair is long, and he keeps it in a tight braid, which is pristine like the rest of his appearance. Being dressed in fine robes marks him to be well off, and he is. He wears a feminine silver circlet gifted to him by his mother and carries a silver dagger on his waist. The head of his wooden staff is bedecked in rubies and blue jewels that seem to hum with magic.
His hands are dainty and soft, and he is very unfit. In fact, his is underweight and anemic.
One of his pointed ears is sliced off at the tip from an attack by fellow schoolmates as a teenager. They considered him unworthy to be considered an elf, thus attempted to slice off his distinguishing features.
He dresses in blue and crimson robes which are wrought in Elven patterns that interlace the fabric with silver thread.
