Brief Summary Of The World
The US government has lost power over its people and now each state is ruled by that state's most successful company, because of this the poverty rate has gone to a dramatic high causing most people to rely on crime in order to survive. In order to protect themselves the rich hire gangs to keep petty criminals in line, these gangs are given a more respectable title and they are instead called "syndicates". To make matters worse police don't do anything to protect the poor as they are often paid by rich people to keep their syndicates out of trouble.
