⠀About Me & What I Expect
hellou, i’m looking for a partner in crime who wants to write a long-term sapphic rp with me. someone who genuinely knows that they have the time and motivation to invest in a new story right now. before you keep reading and potentially waste your time, i’d like to make it clear from the start that i’m a very plot-oriented person. if you’re looking for an exclusively smut-focused rp, i’m clearly not the right writing partner for you.
♣ i’m a novella-style writer. so basically i enjoy writing a lot. that doesn’t mean every single reply will be over 1000 words though. sometimes too much is simply too much. that’s why i prefer the length to depend on the scene. if our characters are interacting directly, it often works better to write less. my shorter posts are usually at least 300–500 words, and on average i probably write around 700–900 words.
♣ i do write erotica, but i can’t really say what the ratio would be exactly since that also depends on the plot, especially if it’s something like a slow burn.
♣ i can’t really write an rp if it doesn’t include historical elements, or at least some kind of supernatural aspect. with strictly slice-of-life stories, i get bored way too quickly. on the other hand, however, whether it’s fictional historical or set closer to our real world doesn’t really matter to me. i just need that “historical/supernatural” worldbuilding to feel truly invested in the plot. i don’t think i have many limits in that regard, at least none that come to mind. the only thing i’m not into is kobolds and things like that, that’s where i’m out.
♣ i’m an active writer, meaning that if i have the time and i’m especially excited about the plot, i can post daily. don’t worry though, i definitely don’t expect the same from you. on average, i should be able to manage three or four posts per week.
♣ i’d describe myself as ghosting-friendly. at least, that’s what i always put in my introduction thread. but the more accurate wording would be that i’m forced to be ghosting-friendly lol i’m pretty chill about it and i’m not going to chase anyone down or expect explanations for their absence. that being said, we’re both adults, and of course i’d prefer it if you could just communicate honestly and say in a simple sentence that you’re no longer interested. then again, everyone handles these things differently and that’s okay...
now about you, or rather what i’m looking for:

♣ someone who, like me, can adjust their length depending on the scene
♣ creative. someone who loves plotting and building worlds.
♣ please bring your own ideas and take initiative. i want you to tell me what you’d like to write, which scenes you’d like to explore next, how you imagine the plot developing, instead of me constantly having to ask and guide everything. the whole point of an rp is to build a story together : )
♣ as i said before, i don't expect daily posts. i am, however, looking for someone who writes consistently. that’s why i’d expect at least 2–3 posts per week. so please don’t reach out to me just “because.” i also prefer writing partners who aren’t juggling a lot of rps at the same time so they actually have the time and space to invest in ours.

➥ first and most important: our characters must be at least 25 years old (+cis). i do not write main characters younger than that, simply because of personal preference. the themes i tend to include and explore just fit characters who are a older and more mature.
➥ for face claims, i’d prefer digital art only. the characters should also visibly look like adults, with an adult face and adult body.

plot I: where the buried bloom

muse-a is the court botanist and the only person who has successfully cultivated the rare flower used to suppress a devastating fever/plague. when her carefully maintained plants begin to wither, the palace brings her muse-b, a convicted smuggler caught distributing stolen medicine in the poorest districts. among muse-b’s confiscated belongings, muse-a discovers freshly cut flowers that could not have come from her failing greenhouses. in exchange for a reprieve from execution, muse-b agrees to lead her to their source which is an abandoned burial ground beyond the city, where the flowers have begun growing wild among the unmarked graves.
muse-b knows how to move beyond the city unnoticed. muse-a has the knowledge to investigate why a plant she can barely keep alive under controlled conditions is flourishing there. together, they discover that the flowers take root only above people who were buried alive. then they find evidence that the palace has been secretly diverting prisoners to the burial grounds and that someone knew what sustained the flowers long before muse-a began searching for answers. the two women must unravel the conspiracy to understand the true nature of the plague and uncover who is behind it all.

yc (your character) is the ruler of aurelith (either a kingdom or an empire). there are several possibilities for how she became the queen/empress:
a.) she originally came from another country and was married off at a young age to the king of aurelith. after his death, she took his place on the throne.
b.) she inherited the throne because her father had no male heir at the time of his death.
either way, her years of ruling have been far from easy. many at the royal court have always resented having a woman on the throne, wanting to replace her with a man they would consider its rightful ruler. fortunately, mc (my character), her personal lady-in-waiting, has remained loyally by her side ever since her reign began. what the queen does not know, however, is that mc has secretly been in love with her for years.
with mc’s help and support, yc has overcome countless obstacles and might have believed that the worst was finally behind her. that belief is shattered when x, a man long presumed dead, suddenly returns. he could be yc's brother, her late husband’s brother, her cousin, her uncle, or another male relative of royal blood. whoever he is, his return means that a male claimant to the throne has entered the picture...and he intends to seize it for himself.

this is a different version of the previous plot idea, with a more darker tone:
yc is a prisoner who is chosen to impersonate a recently deceased queen until the crown can secure the succession. the queen's death is kept strictly secret. mc, the queen’s personal lady-in-waiting, has to teach her how to speak and behave like the deceased queen. mc despises the resemblance. nevertheless, she fulfills her duty, teaching yc the right gestures and beginning to speak to her as if she were truly the queen.
then yc discovers that her execution was recorded weeks ago. officially, she no longer exists. when she tries to escape, mc reveals that the queen was murdered because she was planning to abdicate and that some courtiers already know yc is an impostor. they will tolerate her only as long as she remains useful to them. to gain enough power to keep herself alive, yc must become convincing enough to rule. mc must decide whether she can help this woman build a life that her queen never wanted.

muse-a is the surviving daughter of a defeated clan, living under a false name while preparing to assassinate the warlord responsible for its destruction. with the secret backing of a rival clan, she enters his household as an attendant to muse-b, his notoriously reclusive wife. her task is to earn muse-b’s trust, learn her husband’s plans and arrange an opportunity for him to be killed. but the woman muse-a expects to resent becomes her closest companion. trapped in a marriage arranged to secure her family’s allegiance, muse-b finds comfort in her new attendant’s company. their growing intimacy makes it increasingly difficult for muse-a to treat her affection as another means of reaching her husband.
meanwhile, the warlord is negotiating a military alliance that would place several smaller clans under his command. to finalise the agreement, he invites their leaders to his stronghold, including representatives of the clan secretly financing muse-a’s revenge. her supporters plan to use the gathering to assassinate him and eliminate anyone who might challenge their claim to his territory. they instruct muse-a to help them accomplish this. she discovers, however, that her allies intend to blame the planned murder on muse-b’s birth family, using the accusation of treason to have the entire family executed and its lands confiscated. they need muse-b alive only long enough to force a confession that will condemn her relatives before sending her to the same fate.
muse-a must decide whether to reveal the truth to muse-b. helping muse-b flee could cost her the only chance she has ever had to avenge her family. following the plan would mean betraying the woman who has begun to trust and love her.
