Full Name: Rose Esme Taylor

Age: 24 and a half

Gender: Female

Height: 5'6

Weight: 120lbs

Occupation: Cocktail waitress

Personality: She's a wild child at heart, but has also had so many responsibilities since a young age that she has to play it safe. She is a naturally kindhearted person who tries to please people whenever she can. Occasionally she can get obsessed with people pleasing and it can make her vulnerable. She's completely shameless and fiercely loyal. She'll do anything for someone she loves and will protect them with everything she has. She's also stubborn as all hell most of the time. Rose does not do anything she doesn't want to do, especially if someone is trying to push her into something. And she'd rather just tell you to fuck off than discuss it with you too. Sass comes quite naturally to her as well.

Likes: Dancing is her passion. She started taking lessons at her community center when she was thirteen and has been continuing with classes/private lessons with her dance instructor friend through her twenties. She'll do just about anything for cake and French fries. Horses and baby animals are her weakness. She also loves kids, but not her own. She can't see herself having kids after what her childhood consisted of.

Dislikes: She does not like snakes at all. She doesn't want to hurt them or anything, she just doesn't like them. She's not the biggest fan of running, preferring dancing for her cardio. She doesn't like drugs and has never used any even to just try. She is also not a fan of olives, coconut, or ham.

Fears: Commitment is probably her biggest fear. Having seen her father be committed to her mother, only to have her mother taken from him by cancer really messed with her head. It made her always remember that you can lose the one you love at any point, so the idea of a serious relationship is quite scary. Flying also makes her a bit nervous, having only flown on a plane once in her life when she was six. Her only other major fear would be hospitals. Having spent practically two years in one with her mom, she grew to hate and fear them. The smells, the sights, the sounds... it all brings back memories. To get her to go to the hospital, even for a serious injury, you would have to literally drag her inside.

History: Rose was born near Albany, New York. Her mother was a dentist and her father an accountant. They had a lovely life upstate until she turned eight and her mother got ovarian cancer. It turned her world upside down. Her mother was given only months to live, but managed to fight it for two years. It was only a couple of months after she died that Rose's father moved them to the city. He became an alcoholic quite quickly, his wife having truly been his whole life. Rose did what she could for him, but what was an eleven year old supposed to do? Luckily their new neighbors took her under their wing and she met her best friend, Maria. Eventually word got out about the child helping her father home from the bar most nights and children services came for her. She spent the next five years in and out of foster care. And that was only because she always ran away. No matter where they put her in the city, she found her way back to her father. He was the only family she knew and she refused to abandon him. The only good that came out of her foster experience was her other best friend/basically brother Joey.

When she turned sixteen, her mothers family reached out and helped support her through the rest of high school. She didn't live with them, but they guided her and helped her when she needed it for either herself or her father. Her cousins became like her sisters and she managed to have a semi normal high school experience. Other than the fact that she hated school in general. Hence why she didn't end up continuing onto college. Instead she got a job as a cocktail waitress at a club a few blocks from her tiny apartment. She managed to convince the manager (a man about eight years older than her) to hire her despite being under twenty one. He simply paid her under the table. And the only reason he offered that was because of his attraction to the young girl. And that's how she spent her young adult life, working at the club and dancing at her studio in her spare time, not believing she had much farther to go.

Current: Rose still works at the nightclub on Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights with the occasional Friday shift. She spends her days between dancing at her community center studio, checking in on her dad at his apartment, and babysitting for her cousins. They each have two kids and work during the day while she doesn't, so they let her take the children and pay her often as well. Her free nights are spent with her three best friends at dinners, clubs, or other city adventures. She has never left much time for dating, truly believing she is not made for a serious relationship.
