• Hi, my name's My! I'm a former Black Dahlia resident, and while I am heartbroken about the loss we are experiencing right now, I'm excited to make my way into a new writing community! I'm a massive nerd who enjoys all things fantasy and history. I read, write, and game in obscene amounts when I'm not at the barn (fellow equestrians, where you at) or out hiking with my three pups. I've been roleplaying for quite a long time now and writing even longer. For the past year, I've been really investing myself in the handful of stories I am currently working on, but I'm more than open to taking on one or two more if our desires align!
  
  I'm currently on the hunt for a few plot-driven RPs featuring a healthy dose of romance alongside some darker themes. I'm not looking for any short smut plots or one-offs at the moment, but rather long-term, literate stories written alongside dedicated partners. If this sounds like something you're interested in, please venture further and see if you think we'd be compatible! I have several writing samples available upon request.
• ♔ Communication. I love communicating with my partners on a regular basis. Whether we're plotting, gushing over our characters, or laughing about something we saw on TikTok this morning, I want to talk with you! Chatting isn't necessarily a requirement for writing with me, but I do thoroughly enjoy it. I'm happy to communicate via PMs or Discord!
  ♔ MxM relationships. When playing male characters, I will currently only write MxM relationships (I play FxF relationships as well; my female request thread is still in the works, but if you're interested in that sort of pairing, shoot me a PM and we can discuss!)
  ♔ Third-person, past tense. This is one of the few things that are non-negotiable for me; I have a hard time reading most other compositions.
  ♔ Effort. While I make silly spelling and grammatical errors as often as the next person, I always make sure I'm putting forth an honest effort toward producing quality content. I would love it if I could see the same from you.
  ♔ Quality over quantity. While many of my posts lean towards multi-paragraph/novella style, I'm also not opposed to posting short, to the point bits of writing if that's what the plot demands.
  ♔ Reasonably frequent responses. I would love to find a few partners that can respond somewhere around every few days to once weekly! I am exceedingly patient, however. With open communication, I am willing to wait a considerable amount of time between responses.
  ♔ Realistic, flawed characters. I want your bumped, bruised, beaten, battered, beautiful boys. Perfect, omniscient, over-powered characters need not apply here; they're absolutely no fun to write up against.
  ♔ Dark themes paired with romance. I love me a good dichotomy. Sweet, gentle, romantic interactions paired with a dark, gritty narrative make for such fun!
  ♔ Balance. I enjoy smut as much as the next person, but I am currently not looking for a smut-heavy story. The plot to smut ratio I'm looking for at max is 60:40, possibly even less depending on the story and characters.
  ♔ Polyamory. A bit of an odd addition compared to the rest of this info, I think, but it didn't fit anywhere else. I love consensually polyamorous relationships! A majority of my pairings can be molded to suit a polyamorous relationship, so if that appeals to you, let's chat about it!
• ♕ Anything that goes against guidelines. I don't think this one requires much elaboration.
  ♕ Fetishization. Of any race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. I will call you out if I notice it, and if it continues, I will cut off communication.
  ♕ Ghosting. I know many people here are ghost-friendly, and I myself have ghosted some in the past, but I'm trying for honest, open communication here. If you're not interested in continuing a story at any time, please, just tell me! I promise I won't be a bitch about it!
  ♕ Filler. Trying to stuff a post full of needless words and descriptions just for a higher word count gets tiring on the reader, I'm sure we all agree.
  ♕ One-liners. Conversely to the above point, I'm also not a fan of anything approaching a one-liner. While I'm all for quality over quantity, there's a limit. I like to receive at least two or three healthy paragraphs per post, that is usually a sufficient amount to work with.
  ♕ Static characters. I like my and my partner's characters to be dynamic, three-dimensional individuals. I don't want them stuck in the static roles of dom and sub. Even if they wind up having preferences in the bedroom, they need to be fluid and realistic.
  ♕ First-person, present tense. As stated in my Likes section, I will only write and read third-person, past tense writing.
  ♕ Modern settings. RP is my escape from everyday life, so at the moment I'm not particularly interested in writing anything set in the modern day. No slice of life, no modern fantasy, no urban fantasy; none of that appeals to me currently, so please don't PM me asking after this setting for a story.
• All of my available pairings are currently made to be set in fantasy worlds, either historical, high, or medieval fantasy. I'm open to some other settings, if you'ee curious, inquire! Starred pairings are those I'm particularly interested in at the moment. Underlined roles are the ones I'd prefer in a pairing. If no role is underlined, I'm willing to discuss.

• ♘ For Eternity. Time and Death have forever been a quarrelsome pair of brothers. As one marches on, the other steals from him mercilessly and does not regret a single soul he reaps. He adds them to his ever-growing collection while Time is left in sorrow, nothing to show for his eternal onward trek. Just once did the magnificent being known as Time grow attached to a mortal soul. This story will be the harrowing tale of their love and his attempt to cling onto and preserve this soul that he's fallen for. You will play Time (having taken on a human form) in this thread. The particulars about the setting and characters for this thread are incredibly flexible, so we can shape this basic plotline into something that fits our conjoined preferences!
