First Avenue Group is a large business conglomerate, run by the Delta family who've been members of the New York Cities high socialite community for generations. Though publicly they're known for their prowess in business real estate, owning a big pharma company, several law firms, a hospital, countless clubs and brothels, what's less known about them is the seedy business they conduct under the radar. Often supporting politicians for their own gain, and doing what they can to give them the win whilst also having a hand to weapon import as well as the movement of cocaine within the city. Recently, First Avenue Group has been dabbling in the over prescribing of opioid medications at their hospital in order to filter money back into their pharmaceutical company.
The current CEO, Harrison Delta, is a refined heir of the Delta family and well liked in the community. Behind closed doors, however, he's a ruthless don with an over abundance of power. He's taken his father's company and turned it on its head, feeding into its criminal history with more illegal activities and branching off of what was built before him. He's well aware the police and FBI are beginning to suspect him, however, but having moles in law enforcement pays off more often than not. -
Kingston Lyser is Harrison Delta's right hand man when it comes to their criminal side of the business, a shadow for First Avenue Company. He's known for being just as ruthless as Harrison himself, prone to dealing with the dirtier aspects of the business. Shakedowns, blackmailing, torture, assassination, and more. Him and Harrison were once friends in their earlier high school days, and have always been one another's confidants throughout the years. It wasn't until Kingston's wife died, and he became a single father to his two children, that his and Harrison's relationship began to shift.
Kingston found himself worrying about his families well being while he was out conducting dangerous business, even more so when Harrison began to mention training his own kids to become part of First Avenue Group ... to which Kingston strictly prohibited. This stretched their friendship thin, though nothing ever really came of it.
When Kingston was in his late forties, he was involved in a drive-by shooting that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Due to this, he had to give up his position in First Avenue and now that he's wheelchair bound the most he's able to do is hand pick new recruits for their foot gangs, as well as oversee their training. Now that his children are older he spends most of his time with his eldest daughter, but he and his young son are on the outs and this bothers Kingston greatly.

Beatrice, or Bea, Lyser is the eldest daughter of Kingston Lyser and a force to be reckoned with. As a child she was known for her stubborn attitude and being a daddy's girl through and through, and when he teen years came around her interest in First Avenue Group grew so intense it was near impossible to keep her away. She was prone to skipping school, getting suspended, finding herself arrested for fighting and aggravated assault charges plus more.
Finally, at eighteen after he father's accident, Beatrice was officially branded to First Avenue and her training began at the very bottom. Though it was a struggle, especially in a heavily misogynistic atmosphere, Beatrice had always been unafraid and willing to do what she had to do in order to get her way. She fought hard and long for where she is now, that being Harrison Delta's knew second hand and the owner of all brothels owned by Second Avenue.
Unlike her father, however, Bea is well known for being an info broker. With so many sex workers under her thumb, Beatrice knows about anything and everything that is going on in the criminal underbelly and uses this to her advantage. In her free time, she's a full time caregiver for her wheelchair bound father. Bea still lives with him in their childhood home, and their relationship has only grown stronger.

Jasper Lyser is the youngest son of Kingston Lyser, and the complete opposite of both his dad and sister. Growing up he'd always been closer to his mother, who was a professional ballet dancer and stay at home mother. They spent most of their time together, and after her death when he was ten Jas took it hard, harder than his sister at the very least. Though unlike Bea, Jasper didn't begin acting out at school but instead chose to find a niche group of friends he could call his home away from home. He dove into what his mother once loved, theater and dance and performance, and decidedly took the beatings that came with being a theater kid.
Especially a theater kid who was known as a gangsters kid.
This didn't mean Jasper wasn't capable of handling himself, however, well trained by his father throughout the years. He just simply decided not to fight back, not until the day ( at seventeen ) when he was kidnapped by a rival group of First Avenue and put up for ransom. It was assumed he was the weakest link, but no ransom was given and ten hours later Jasper walked out of the entire situation having killed three out of the five men and leaving the other two scarred for life.
Though this was a traumatic time in his life, it reminded many in the criminal underbelly that Lysers were not weak links. Now, as a twenty two year old adult, Jasper lives on his own with his long term boyfriend Jiro. He attends an arts college and studies contemporary dance, hoping to one day work for broadway. He tries his absolute best to avoid his family, and their way of life, but more often than not finds himself sucked back into it no matter how hard he tries.
