Figured it was time to open my own character thread, there'll be mostly characters that I'll go building along the way with the help of pictures/art and descriptions (All art featured to give a more generalized idea on what they might be wearing, appearence, etc, will have all their respective credits and the artists names/usernames added/or may contain a little description underneath if the images were generated somewhere else to avoid confusion and/or problems).
The characters will be divided into some activity categories.

- [This character is ACTIVE]: Pretty self explanatory - characters that are being used in a roleplay already.
- [This character is on PAUSE]: Paused characters, either because the roleplay hasn't progressed beyond a few posts in a long time/lack of activity from partners for a prolonged time, or because a decision is being taken at the moment, and hence, are put on "pause".
Pronouns: Any, but mostly uses they/them when refering to themselves.
Personality: Doesn't seems to have any particular personality as of now, but it's definetly not unable to develop one during their learning progress.

Description: The overall height of this machine is 5'6. Its entire body is made of a weird kind of material and technology never witnessed in its entirety by the humans in the present day, joints in the form of human arms and legs are in place to give this machine the mobility it needs and the possibility to replicate human conduct. Most of its body isn't covered by synthetic skin, except for the face and neck area with clear human like features, including the synthetic hair; the rest, abdomen, shoulders, legs and arms remain "bare", exposing a variety of wires, strange components and openings. Posseses the capability to see, yet has zero sense of smell, taste, touch or pain. Six openings in the form of rectangles can be found at its back, distributed in an uniform way across it, but what was suposed to be there is currently missing and the openings on its back serve no major purpose.
Origins/story/lore:[Work in progress, subject to change] This machine was found by sheer luck by a researcher/scientist, in a seemingly ancient civilization now in ruins. It inmediately grabbed this persons attention and ended up being taken away from the place it was found for further research and analysis. When activated again, not only this machine communicated with a strange tongue that was not even recognizable, but to the surprise of the researcher/scientist, it was also dotted with intelligence, enough to be able to discern things, learn other idioms and communicate properly afterwards. Due to all of the long years of inactivity a variety of its functions no longer work (excluding sense of smell, touch or pain, which it never had to begin with), the machine, according to "themselves", seems to be missing important data, possibly damaged by the absurd amount of years that passed, or forcibly removed/deleted. According to them, they have very little data of what used to be their "home", but one thing is for sure, they are able to tell if something looks familiar by analyzing and comparing the data that is - luckily - still intact...

Name: Okemoth.
Nicknames: He has a big storm coming when it comes to nicknames, most of them are in form of insults (He's been called everything and anything imaginable and wrong, he is not liked by many), while those who actually consider him a friend will call him in a more friendlier manner: "Mothie".
Species: Demon.
Gender: Male.
Pronouns: He/him, hates with all of his demonic existence being misgendered.
Occupation/job: Aside from doing normal demon pacts and their related bussiness, he is an underworld Circus owner.
Personality: Okemoth is a demon who gets angry and frustrated pretty easily, swearing to his hearts content when not in the mood. When not met with unfortunate situations, his personality takes a sudden turn, tends to be scandalous, narcissistic, overdramatic, and cheerful all the same, not something you'd ever dream to witness from a "demon". He is a little of an oddball and a goofball according to a lot of demons and creatures that might not be so far from being almost the same or between the spectrum of "weird".
Likes: Makeup and any clothing that, according to his taste, are "Fascinating", "Magnificent", "Carefully crafted" or "Catchy and pretty". Has a tendency for collecting Antiques in the underworld and overworld all the same... with just the little difference that he straight out robs humans of their prized Antiques whenever he gets the chance without even bothering to save face in the process... the weirder and catchier the better. Doesn't treats his kidnapped humans very well (as stated above), but If he deems someone worthy, he starts picking and buying them gifts, that according to him are "good gifts", starts treating them like pets, and demands their full attention, which he loves. He also loves to mess with them, either by manipulating or directly humilliating.
Dislikes: Hates being called names that hurt his ego and feelings of greatness and superiority. Also hates to hear that he has excedingly bad taste when it comes to clothing and, but not limited to, Antiques. Hates being interrupted, even though he speaks a mad lot. Hates being disobeyed the most above anything else.
Powers/Abilities: One of his abilities is looking at someone else's memories, only works on his contractors and definetly does not abuse of it as it is; for it to work, his hand needs to be well possitioned on his contractors head, a faint light will start to emit from his palm, such connection will allow him to browse his contractors memories by selecting what is important (faces, names, and possible locations is all that he needs). Ability to perform simple and powerful seals and the ability to materialize crimson chains from his palms, these can directly connect to his contractors hand and are not easy to break or dispell (he previously used this method with a lot of his victims to drag them to hell by force If they didn't do so willingly). Induce nightmares is also one of them, materializing in his victims dreams and hurting them is also possible, does not use this method as much in pair of the memory reading, always messing around in the plane of reality is much better and fun.
Weaknesses: Lights/items that are way too bright, being half a moth has it's disadvantages, he gets easily hypnotised by these, and it's still really hard for him to break out of the trance, he rarely goes strolling through the hellish landscape and his show presentations without his pair of special glasses, plus, his mansion is also pretty much barely lit as a method of precaution. Other weaknesses include holy water, rosary prayers, crosses, and more.
Appearence: Human like features and 2 meters tall with a robust body, his hair is an even, straight and purple hime-cut with some gradient to it. His eyes are sharp and yellow, his face is covered in a few scars and his eyebrows are thick. Scars may not be noticeable thanks to makeup and his lips are almost always covered with black lipstick. His ears resemble antenae and are adorned with several piercings and earrings, stars, hearts, or whatever he finds pretty and appealing. Two sharp fangs are visible from his lower lip upwards. His name, as well as his nickname, suggest that he is some sort of moth hybrid, purple and fluffy wings are present and notorious on his back, he rarely uses them. He has no tails nor visible horns. He dresses as a Jester most of time, with a little air of nobility for the whole outfit, being a presentator comes with a price, "If ya ain't gonna look cute and fabulous for your audience, then don't even bother!" is what he likes to say.
Origins/story/lore: There's not a lot of information regarding in how "Okemoth" ended in hell, just as he mysteriously appeared, all of his early life and sins remained unkown, he seems to keep a lot of things he used to own in his mortal life around his mansion, maybe that'll give out you some clues...
World.
The underworld, or popularly know as "Hell", functions in a similar fashion as the overworld, or "Mortal realm", it looks pretty organized at first glance, but there are no rules and hence it's a world for the survival of the fittest, even though you cannot "die" a second time, what other purpose would hell serve if not to remind you that you are trapped there forever and never let you forget the atrocities you committed in life? All kinds of demons and otherwordly creatures that you wouldn't even dare to imagine roam this infamous place, perpetually waiting in eternity for some sort of change, or for new ways of entertainment...

[This character is ACTIVE] This roleplay is based out of Kimetsu no Yaiba, with a variety of liberties and changes, of course.
Name: Yaguchi Ume
Nicknames: None known yet.
Age: 20.
Gender: Female.
Pronouns: She/Her.
Occupation/job: Formerly a Demon Slayer. Now a demon.
Family: Mother and father are both deceased. Yaguchi Michihiro is her big brother.
Personality: Her personality is really tranquil and serene, though she tends to worry a lot about a variety of things from time to time. Overall she is a sweet girl, does not want to cause any unnecesary harm, and worries greatly about the wellbeing of others, If deserved, of course. She was a really hard working person when a Demon Slayer, that is, before she fell into Muzan's scheme for being too hesitant.
Powers/Abilities: Formerly a Flower Breathing user (Nichirin sword is red), current abilities as a demon (Demon art) are currently unknown.
Appearence: Tall girl with long hair, always tied like a horse tail and white as snow. Small thin eyebrows and small sharp pink eyes. She doesn't have that many clothes at her disposition aside from the Demon Slayer Corps uniform, a few yukatas, haoris, and kimonos, it looks like she likes nature a lot, most of them have flower, leaves, or nature related designs and patterns.
Origins/story/lore: Born and raised normally along her big brother, sadly, lost her parents and other (unkown) family members thanks to demons and other causes from that time. She became a Demon Slayer in order to protect his brother and all of the people she cares about, to her disgrace, her brother also lost his life, not being able to whistand Muzan's blood, Ume's request in an attempt to save him and herself at the moment.
Age: Looks 25, real age is not known, does not comment on this.
Gender: Male.
Ocuppation/job: Runs a small restaurant business on one of the busiest streets of the city, yet not many people approches that place thanks to his looks.
Personality: He might not seem really friendly at first glance, but the truth is that he is indeed social, mostly with those who are not afraid to approach him or his workplace. He likes to be led by his own ideas and ideals, the drum only sounds to his beat on most occasions and its rare when he admits he was in the wrong and that he should have reconsidered things. For someone who seems quite calm, collected and thinks things through before genuinely doing them, he has quite a strong and strict character, especially when it comes to the environment at his work, but no one who works there has anything bad to say about him, they learned to understand him as well as to have good communication with him in spite of everything. He also has a powerful temper thanks to his somewhat fierce and agressive nature, feels offended when people look down on him, for always having said that he does not care what they say about him, he prefers that people keep their opinions to themselves rather than hear them be spout out with obvious desire to start a fight. He won't hesitate to fight back If needed, and could definitely break someone's nose in the process, when his integrity is in jeopardy, he is more likely to lose control by fighting than actually getting angry about anything else - although in this one section, it still depends, because he is taken at his own pace he can respond aggressively or rudely if he does not like something. He is persistent and his will is unmovable when he wants something in the moment.
Powers/Abilities: As any other dragon from his species, he's supposed to be able to control the rain, the clouds, the wind and water, and serve as a mediator of nature in general, but years have passed, and not many of his kind perform these kind of duties anymore, those kingdoms and people needing of their good fortune and blessings have been long lost in history, only memories and culture still remain in the passage of time. Shuǐ is not good at any of these things, he's not even able to maintain a full human form thanks to his lack of ability when it comes to magic, a real shame for some, a real breath for others, as for he himself, he doesn't really mind. The little real control he has over his magic is used occasionally to revert to his beast form, and vice versa, also to harden his scales enough, he makes up for his lack of ability in magic by constantly prioritizing physical work first, It is not recommended to mess with him, humans could not match the strength in which this individual worked for years, being a given that he had no other choice but to adapt to what he had... but might have the upper hand by other means.
Weaknesses: He's a quintessential brute when he loses his temper, he's not too fast due to his size, and not too perceptive or sharp when in a battle either, and he can be at a huge disadvantage when facing other people or beasts that don't use their physical stamina or close combat skills. His scales, which are all over its body even in his "human" form, can be damaged and fall if the blows they receive are too excessive, being only able to buy him a little more time before having to react by necessity. When he loses control in this way, it is difficult to bring him back, he cannot think straight, his mind becomes cloudy, and he simply acts on instinct.
Appearence: 2 meters and 25 cm. tall, physically bulky and pale, Shuǐ has messy violet with white gradient hair, this one reaching up to his nape, and partly covering his eyes, yet they are still quite noticeable, both are a little bit more crystalline and display almost the same color. He has a robust and long tail that drags on the ground starting from his lower back, the end/tip of it somewhat replicates the flower of his name, it is of the same violet coloration, as well as a strip of hair and what seem to be fins that run from beginning to the end of it on the top side. Two antlers grow from both sides of his head, they are both white and medium sized. Has no piercings nor noticeable scratches skin wise, however, damaged scales can be found throughout his body, although most are difficult to notice at first glance in general, the damaged ones look whiter than those that are almost invisible and can be seen with the naked eye without a problem, they take a long time to heal.
Sexual preferences
When it comes to sex, or simply maintaining relationships, he is not the softest or the most docile of all of his kind, it is taken for granted thanks to their history that they are benevolent beings and one of the most elegants at the same time, however the reality after many years has changed a lot, and with it the behavior of several of these individuals as well. Shuǐ is no exception, he wants things in his own way and it is a bit difficult to change his opinion or his careless way of acting in the moment, however, when he is calmer and in control, he could change his mind and his way of acting if one does not mess too much with his nerves, however he would still put up a good fight to still remain on the dominant role... a bold move for someone likehim.
When it comes to making his partners enjoy themselves, he takes it very seriously when he genuinely cares for that person, sometimes he can go slow and sensual and play with them for as long as he deems necessary or suddenly change his behavior and end up being a little/or much more rough.
He's had a few partners before, male or female, it didn't matter, but he doesn't really remember enjoying his time with any of them thanks to his own conflicted character and the unwillingness of many of them, because they didn't know what kind of behaviour he could have when it came to that, and it wouldn't be a surprise if someone else didn't find it. opportune.

Age: 23.
Gender: Male.
Occupation/Job: Thief, and the second in command in said band.
Personality: Quite rude with whenever he has something to say, and pretty inexpressive by default, however he is quite calm in nature to say the least. He is not easily provoked and always tries to maintain control, on the other hand, if something really affects him on an emotional and personal level, he will not hesitate to take aggressive stance against whoever makes use of this information to make fun of him. He is quite calculating and is normally not one to do things without having a backup plan in place. He has very little empathy with other people, even with his own criminal comrades, if it is not someone who has personally managed to get to him in a slightly more intimate way, he is not interested in the slightest, his well-being is above anyone else's, and any type of affairs or business that he might have are his alone, he will not allow anyone from the outside to meddle in them.
Abilities and weaknesses: He's pretty agile when it comes to stealing or fleeing an scene with no one noticing, becoming an expert at being fast, precise and diverting attention in order to steal is the essential to stay out of of potential trouble and the public eye. Personally, he specializes more in fast melee battles with daggers and swords, although with this last weapon, his speed is greatly reduced, forcing him to pay triple the attention to the movements of his opponent, his environment and his own body to avoid serious injuries, while, on the other hand, he has an easier time maneuvering smaller weapons that adjust better to his erratic and hostile style of battling, allowing him to make it difficult for the enemy to strike back precisely.
Appearance: Pale and somewhat muscular. Quite messy, long black-haired youth. Has a pair of copper round earrings on each ear. Eyes are blue-ish, always look tired and both have pretty noticeable eye bags under them. Has a variety of scars all around his body, from small and shallow down to terribly looking ones, a couple of them being located at his stomach level, and another one crossing a big part of his upper right arm. A crest black tattoo can be found on his lower back.
Origins/story/lore: Since a very young age he has been friends with the Prince of the kingdom in which he lived, but the Monarchy always kept a close eye to his relationship with the heir, and was later on labelled as really unmoral as it progressed in time until it got considered to be a threat. Him and his family were exiled after repeated secret encounters with the Prince, even after all of the warnings he had received prior to the events, provoking the young one to deeply loathe the Monarchy, but above all, the King.
Life as a Thief wasn't easy when he first decided it was the only way to survive and help his family at the age of 16. The conditions in which they lived after such incident were precarious, they hardly had what to eat or even a cozy place in which they could stay and rest, and Frederic was in charge of stealing food, medicine, or other necessities that were denied to them. All of this reached such a point that his entire family fell ill, and one by one his only remaining relatives disappeared; his mother, his father, his grandfather, and his little sister who also couldn't fight against the disease in the conditions they were in. All of this made him resent the King immensely and more than ever before, a huge rage nested deep inside of his heart and soul, staying ablaze with the sole objective of getting his hands on him and getting to meet with that special someone one more time.
From the point in which he lost all of his family, he began to wander to different places and other distant kingdoms all on his own. He was taken in by a band of bandits at the age of 17 that saw worth in his abilities, and now it's currently the second in command of said band.

Name: Cadfael.
Age: 24.
Gender: Male.
Occupation/job: Crown prince.
Personality: Cadfael is a serious, composed man of few words, and does not demand a lot from others. Most people always assume he is in a bad mood thanks to his silence and harsh expressions, and as a result they don't always approach or speak their minds out of fear, but those who had the chance to know him better personally know that man could not care less about formalities or whoever addresses to him. It is extremely rare to see him in a bad mood, and he looks like the type of person to keep his cool at every given situation, something that is equally incredible as scary as it can get at times. He is not very expressive in the beginning, but, little by little, if his attachment with another person is strong enough, he will undoubtedly show more of himself.
Abilities and weaknesses: Adept in the art of the sword; his serenity at the moment of fighting is frightening, mixing both calmness with devastating, powerful blows. He has been taught to keep his mind clear and solely focused on his objective as well as to have faith in his own weapon and capabilities. In this state of mind, he is able to see and perceive more than anyone, although, not without its risks; he is not really good at keeping up with more than five individuals. He is also not really good at strategizing on his own, earning him quite the reputation amongst his younger brothers and the people of their kingdom.
Appearance: White muscular tall man with scars to spare all around his body, one across his face/nose. Brunette hair, thick eyebrows and dark green eyes. Wears a bright red cape, and is usually seen wearing armor when spotted on outings and/or campaigns, while, inside of the palace, he is usually seen in his royal vestments when not in his training sessions, or alternatively, just wearing plain clothes while on his own, when his attention or participation in certain matters is not needed. Does not wear accessories and/or jewelry of any type in exception of necklaces. Always with a particular, small, round golden pendant around his neck.
Origins/story/lore: Current Crown Prince of Gardarum, son of King Michael and Queen Adrianne, both uniting in marriage to unite the territory that is known today, and big brother of two younger siblings (Vincent and Marius, 22 and 19 respectively). While being born in a cradle of gold and getting to have almost anything for granted, Cadfael was always known for being quite a free and adventurous youngster, no shackles being able to stop this one from wandering out of the palace grounds ever since a very young age and mostly thanks to one of his early mentors influence.
Even if he looks uninterested in person in most of the occasions of importance, Cadfael always had a big sense of justice and responsibility and harbors a big love towards his people and his soon to be kingdom, surprisingly enough, he was never the type to fully neglect his duties as the prince, and yet with his evasive attitude at times, he is held in high esteem by many.

Name: Dàhǎi ("Sea" or "The Sea"), prefers to be called just as "Dai" for short.
Stage name: O.B., both letters standing for "Ocean Blue", alternatively and simply called "Blue" or just "B".
Age: 30.
Gender: Male.
Occupation/job: Idol, rapper.
Personality: Dai has somewhat of a "hard to deal with" personality that his peers are all too conscious about, and that he rarely shows out in public in order to keep a good image. Although the "professional" trait about him is true, he doesn't really practice it in the good sense of the word, often too focused on working towards the objectives and the results rather than to have into account the experience of those who worked or are working with him, and this often drags him to the point in which he gets frustrated If someone does not follow behind his steps or methods. He is a man that doesn't talk that much, at least, with people he is not comfortable with, he gets a bit defensive if he's meeting someone new, and a lot of his comments might sound like he's not interested in certain things or sound a little insensible, little empathetic and smug, but despite this, he has a soft side to him that shines at the right moment and with the right people.
Appearance: A tall, somewhat slim man with long black hair that is dyed blue at the back. He's got a liking for always wearing makeup and various kinds of accessories, all usually dark, pretty null, and not really that noticeable but that he finds pleasant and exquisite nonetheless. Usually wears big round dark sunglasses, and is known for never altering his appearance that much. Possesses a few beauty marks over his nape, hands, one of his arms (right one) and torso.
Origins/Story/Lore: Previously a member of "Gate of Paradise" as their rapper, specially well known because of his unique, melodic vocal prowess, consisting of 6 members at that time, they had a successful career for almost 12 years before deciding to disband out of personal motives, Dai on one side decided to continue with his career as an idol as a solo artist under another company, and currently still keeps contact with some of his previous band mates. Not much else is known about Dai out of his own accord, he prefers to have those details locked behind a door, but it is speculated that is because they don't happen to be very pleasant memories for him.
Sexual preferences:
Pretty vocal when it comes to the act in itself and the one to take the lead, too curious and to use both hands at all times. In reality he has only been with a couple of women and has never tried it with the opposite sex. He prefers to do it slowly and has no specific kinks to his knowing, just pretty vanilla overall, although he doesn't seem have much problem with trying new things if he's not uncomfortable with the ideas. Both himself and his partner are his priority.
