I work with both canon and OCs and I'm very picky about the former.
My canons are original twists on existing characters-- I'm no copy cat, a writer's gotta keep it fresh. My best canon so far is the Joker (A nice hybrid of Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, and Jerome Valeska) You don't believe me? I dare ya to let me use him.
A favorite OC of mine is an ex-marine Chief of Police named Lexus Mariah Rexford.

I hope you'll notice I can be very flexible. I vary out my characters and can create a new one if need be.

The second in a pair of twins. Olivia's face is well known, being the front page and main treat in every Venus Magazine published in the past three years-- a sort of playboy for all intents and purposes. She wants to be an actress some day, and struggles to get past the popularly corrupted view that she's a sex object.​

Found in Housten, Texas police department for shooting a man who stole his cigar.
His reptilian appearance, accent, and abilities led people to nicknaming him Rango, though he is far from clumsy in comparison to the character to whom the name originally belongs. His skill with a pair of guns is aided by his ability to look in two different directions at once, and he can chamouflage thus seeming entirely invisible.

He's also a great climber and can snag things with his tongue.​

She thought she was human, and that's how it was meant to be, but sometimes things don't go according to plan.
