Nerida is a survivor and a nomad, who stayed behind after her tribe was driven out of their land. Now she finds herself wondering further and further south into the territory of Tethis and its surrounding towns.

Born into the Ravenkin tribe of several intertwined family trees, she has an older brother and a twin sister. While growing up, the Ravenkin settled and hunted their ancestral lands in the wilderness somewhere northeast of Tethis. But around the time Nerida came of age, her tribe was driven out by several factions which were taking interest in their land. Her sister and parents moved further North, which she rides up to visit now and then. Neither Neri nor the Ravenkin had seen her brother since she was little. Nerida had left behind after her tribe evacuated the region, unwilling to leave this land behind. But lately she has been wondering further and further South, interacting with the people of Tethis and even Khare.
