→ f-list. Please look at it. Sometimes people send me really long thought out ideas but they're based on a kink that I hate and I think we both come away feeling bad after that exchange is over.
→ WHAT I SEEK: I'm looking for a literate partner who can spell properly, understands grammar, and can give me enough to work with. Preferably someone who can write at least two paragraphs or more, because I think it's important to be able to put enough detail into the posts.
→ OTHER: Please know that I may not be able to post every day. I don't care about my writing partner's gender, but I'm only looking for people who write as male characters.
As of right now I've just started book 7. There's so much happening on each floor that I feel like there's a lot of room to just... create our own thing within the overarching theme of the floor?
Shocking absolutely nobody, I'd like to write an OC against Carl (there's some canon x canon below too, though). I've got a handful different character ideas at the moment. They're all built to fill a different team role than him, and generally to bring outmostly good things in him. I feel like the author has dropped a lot of interesting bits (the "river" in Carl's mind and the way they've essentially given up sleep as examples) that would be fun to explore in more depth, with our own interpretations of the meanings and impact.
When I'm not being terribly lazy I'll come back and break down all my different ladies. But put super loosely right now:
→ a woman who worked at her family butcher shop, having a little bit of a menty b in an alley when The Collapse happened. Pretty good at shoving her feelings down into a box where she doesn't have to address them, but a little more aware of other people's emotions and willing to try and help them work things out. She ends up also picking the class Butcher, and gets locked into a theming she's not super thrilled about. Reasonably early recipient of a player killer skull. Starting floors: 3+
→ a 21-23 year old college student who was stumbling drunk out of a party when The Collapse happened. Gets along with Donut like a house on fire, which is great but also means they tend to egg each other on when it comes to nonsense. Was having a Really Bad Time until joining the Royal Court of Princess Donut. Friendly, desperately trying to cling to a little bit of whimsy, may also be an early recipient of a player killer skull depending on when she ends up on the team. Starting floors: 1-2
→ a woman who was camping when The Collapse happened, tents didn't count for the whole thing and she was so far out into the woods she didn't even know how fucked up the rest of society was until she found out from other people. Has a lot of real life survival skills, regrettably the world now operates essentially on video game logic. Starting floors: any
→ I've started working something out with an NPC. Absolutely emotionally brutal for sure. Starting floors: 5+ probably
