I'm gonna introduce myself, my name is Matt i am 22 and I live in Italy
I have been rping for 8 something years now, I started out on geeking with nothing but my imagination and my underage unlimited internet access (you can guess how it went) I spent about 1.5 years on the app before it closed down (you can easily guess why it happened) before moving to amino, there is really made my bones in rping and I discovered the wonders of having a long term partner, learned how to write more than a few lines and basically became a (self admittedly of course) decent writer, I lasted about 3 years before life took quite the turn and I had to stop rping for a good few months before back this time being on and off on discord and reddit
I came to the sanctum mostly because I'm very unsatisfied with both platforms as of now, it seems as if 90% of the rp requests are for sloppy smut with questionable plots (if present at all), and by the looks this place seems to be full of the type of partner I am looking for!
Like i said I consider myself lit, I can reach discord's max character limit without thinking too much about it, I do like smut in my rp's but I don't find it extremely necessary, and more importantly it shouldn't be thr complete focus of the rp! Even in very smut focused rp's i prefer to have some narrative and plot, my main focus in any rp is to have a great story with great characters with smut being there to enrich it (and have fun of course)
I will now paste a starter from an old cyberpunk plot in did a few months ago, it is not the longest but to give a scale of what my writing is like it is appropriate:
Rain, it was rainy that's the first thing that came trough Mark's head as he headed out of the apartment in the megabuilding he was living in, to say he had hit rock bottom was an understatement.
He finished loading up his last few belongings into his 'new' car before he got into the driver sit, slowly turning the key in the ignition almost expecting something dreadful to happen, only to hear the metallic and almost tired sound of the old engine slowly coming to life, he sighed before instinctively reaching into his coat pocket for a cigarette, forgetting the fact that he didn't have money for food let alone his favorite vice, he had spent whatever savings he had left on trying to not get caught by his old employers, so that meant new car new clothes anything that would increase his chances of survival, he carefully released the e-beake before starting to drive towards the 73rd, the most luxurious and sought after brothel in night city, it was probably his only chance left, he pulled out a business card with the address and a written note saying to come to a meeting with the owner, one Akino Riu, he knew her everyone, did in his line of business.
He parked the car closeby to the almost abbandoned looking building, it was funny to know that under all those graffiti and run down walls there was an almost legendary night city club, he then got out of the car, the rain hitting him on the head instantly before beginning to walk towards the entrance being stopped by a bouncer before he showed said business card, at wich point he was granted access into the brothel, being escorted by another guard to the office of akino, the bodyguard knocking on the door for him
