New to forums

Hey there! My name is Abuthur, but you can call me Abu(Yes like the monkey from Aladdin.) I've been rping for a couple of years now probably around 2 or 3, but I don't remember how long exactly. I've been in a pretty longstanding writer's block and I've wanted to try moving out of my immediate group of people to get some new inspiration. I'm only interested in non-sexual rp however. Plot and story should be the main focus. Romance is fine, but it's not what I'm after.

As for genres, I'm a big fan of fantasy, and if there's a good fantasy story I would love to hear it. I've also been thinking about horror, but I don't have much experience with it so that would be new to me. Anything else I'm a bit hesitant about, but if you think it's a good story I'm still open to hearing about it.

Lastly, I would like to say I'm new to forums and rping with people I'm not close with, so please bear with me. I'm not as experienced as many of the people I've looked at so far, but I'll try my best. I'm happy to be here.

There is a large request section of people looking for stories just as you described, so I'm sure if you take some time you'll find more than a few that fit your standards. Erotic roleplay is a very small and limited section of the forums. The majority of writers either do both or not at all. You'll have no issues with that I'm sure. As for your unfamiliarity with forums, everyone here is very chill and easy to get along with. Take some time and say hello in chat. Read a few stories and get a feel for how they tend to flow.
