Who are you, how long have you been writing and what kind of things do you like to write?
Hello, you can call me ocean. I haven't been writing for long and am using this as a way to expand my skills. I like to write a variety of things ranging from fantasy to normal slice of life. I do not, however, enjoy writing smut. Dirty jokes and flirting is one thing, but I prefer not to write smut because I just don't feel comfortable with it.
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
My replies tend to be a mix of one liners and paragraphs depending on the responses I get. I'll be able to respond at least once or twice a week, and more on the weekends. The frequency I write depends on my free time, which I currently have a lot of until January.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
Pretty high, I don't mind it too much. Just as long as it makes sense withing the context of the rp.
Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
As stated above, no. I prefer to not write smut scenes of any kind but I don't mind alluding to them like, for example, describing the morning or scene after the smut. I really just prefer to focus on the story or stories that aren't smut-centric.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
I currently do not write for any fandoms. I prefer to read others works.
Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
I have a fictional town of Lockinge, CA. A small, sleepy beach side town, mostly paid little attention to by the the rest of the world. It's mostly described a nice, but unremarkable by outsiders and tourists, but it's people tend to disagree. Especially at night.
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
*Ahem* "Hey, I'm Jordan. I work at the My sister's cafe on Crossridge Way. Feel free to come in and grab a bite to eat or just sit and chill for a bit. Highly recommend the cherry pie by the way. Just try to ignore the shadows flickering in the corners and alleyways. They don't like it when you stare."
If the counter weren't blocking the view of them waist down, anyone could spot the long jagged scar reaching from the top of their left calf to their ankle.
If you're familiar with Yomawari it's a little like that kind of deal. The town is infested by unknown entities and they become even more hostile at night, increasingly so as the moon begins to wane. Most people passing through don't know about or pay any attention to the entities. It's like they don't even notice they're there. But some do. Some catch a glimpse and have to "check it out." It would be interesting to see where they come from though. And that girl at the cafe seems to know something about them.
Do you have any characters you want to write? (Our character forum is here if you want a dedicated thread)
I have a character named Jordan Quinn who is a resident of the town of 5 years, moving in with their sister after their parents died. They're pretty laid back, working the counter at their sister's cafe and talking with customers. If you ask them about the entities, they'll give you a fair warning about them. They know what they're like and how aggressive they can be.
Any additional notes you want to add?
I usually prefer one on one rp's or ones with no more than two other people. I like rp-ing npc's and don't mind others doing so too as long as it makes sense since we're building a story and world together. If you just want a partner for your story, I'm totally down for that. If you would prefer I play a character other than my current one in order to fit with your world or have me adjust my own I fine with that as well, but I don't do well playing canon characters. Especially ones I'm not familiar with. If any one is interested, feel free to hit me up.
