Yo! Please don’t mind the mess! {covers ectoplasm and decay with blanket} I’m just a ghostly bee looking for a long-term writing partner! You can call me Ghost or Beep!

New to this site, {kicks zombie hand back under tv stand} but not roleplay - I’ve been writing off and on for about 13 years? Just coming back again after a few years hiatus - so I’ll probably be kind of rusty!

  • I will try and be as clear in communication as I can - but my schedule might be a little unpredictable. I have some health problems that lead to me going from multiple posts a day to not posting for days. I’ll try my best to at least respond OOC once a week if I’m not able to post IC for some time! If any issues come up - let’s discuss! If we can remediate, I’d like to be open to it!

  • Within reason and as long as it is plot-related - I can handle some gore and violence. Similar to smut - which I prefer to have a lower ratio of compared to plot (if there is any!) I can’t guarantee any romance or anything (despite being a sucker for it) because I’m but the messenger relaying what my characters think, feel and do - I can push them in a lake but I can’t force them to have feelings that don’t come up organically!
I'll write any gender character, but I'd rather not make one on request for a specific gender. I used to and it was a bad fit for my creative style.

  • I know it's not super common, but I've been really wanting short form/chat style roleplays. (In my defense, they often evolve into longer form styles if our henchmen are vibing!)
I can do semi-lit/lit, but the way my brain handles reading - I have to let my writing sit because it glosses over mistakes like butter when I'm writing/immediately after writing. (On the other hand, I’m not too bothered by typos and occasional grammar errors even if I notice.)
As for length in general: I'll normally try to match whoever I'm writing with but... I prefer progression over post length. Granted, sometimes you need a few pages to get that inner monologue in. But in the right moment - a couple sentences is just the right fit. It can be hard to jump in when the other person writes an entire scene and bloopers in one post sometimes!

  • I don’t mind fandoms - but I do prefer original works! I love world building <3
I also wouldn’t mind pulling a Victor Frankenstein and stitching together a couple fandoms if we’re feeling brave.
Which ones? … Share your list! There are a lot of fandoms that even if I’m not in and you don’t mind a few questions - I can probably still be conned into writing!

My domain expansion is dark urban fantasy - but I’m really flexible with the genre we choose! I might lose interest in: slice of life, sci-fi, high fantasy - but in my past experiences, if we write together long enough and our characters establish connections - I am a sucker for ‘what if we throw these goons into ___ domestic situation?’ So even if it’s under my ‘meh’ list - prove me wrong with your glorious ideas?

I have a few prompts if we get stuck - but I’d like to try starting off with some back and forth IC(chat) or OOC to see if we can’t come up with something together!
(But I want to bring something to the table so here are a few keywords/phrases: Rogue Cupids (counter: Cupid wars), Giant Horrors, How do we get out of here??, Multidimensional Bureaucracy, Cat vs Mouse hunt)

Sorry, I go from silent wallflower to ‘they’re still talking? It’s been three days. We get it, it’s a cool rock.’
If you’ve gotten this far and are still interested {zombie hand crawls over my face quickly like spider, disappears}, please reach out to me in Private Messages to discuss! And uh… Is it Soda or Pop (or other)?
