I suck at writing introductions.

Hi, howdy, hey. It's been a couple years since I last used a forum. Jotting out a quick little greeting like this is giving me nostalgia.

My (user) name is Amphictyonis, and I go by that or Amp. I've been RPing for the better part of 15 years, but have been on-and-off with it as of the last two because of life beating my ass behind a Wendy's. Send help. I dabble in a little bit of everything as far as genres go, including but not at all limited to horror; high fantasy; supernatural; slice-of-life, and period dramas. If romance is included, I enjoy it as a subplot rather than as the main 'theme' of an RP, and usually after a good amount of character clashing + plot development. I also listen to a lot of music, and may or may not make a three-hour-long playlist for a character for that extra little bit of immersion.

I'm currently taking classes that are also beating my ass behind a Wendy's. Send help. that take up a lot of my time, and the burnout has been immense, but I really want to get back into this hobby as it's one that I've always enjoyed, and I wanna stick with it. Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
