Novice Nightly Greetings

Hello! My name is Ephemerous, but feel free to shorten that to whatever you like. I've been roleplaying on and off across different sites for several years now, with a hiatus in the last year and a half. I'm rather excited to explore this community and show what I have to offer. I'm an avid fan of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy novels, though I do also enjoy romance when the mood hits. My reading habits reflect in my writing habits, with those four being my generally preferred themes. I tend to try style-matching my roleplay partner/s with regard to writing length and description density. When given the freedom of the choice, I am inclined toward longer and more descriptive work.

With regards to my personal life, I'm a hospital lab technician. Most of my time is spent working in an incredibly biohazardous mail room. My usual de-stressers are books, puzzles, and hopefully soon, roleplaying! I also have two cats.

I look forward to making friends and getting to explore our creative sides together.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then!
