-Introduction and Ideas-

Nice to meet you! I go by Noein (they/them) and am fairly new to the forums. I'm just getting back into writing, but am a decade old veteran of the tabletop roleplaying scene. I have a lifelong love of character development and storytelling, and a special interest in worldbuilding. I like to be organized and detail oriented, sometimes to my own detriment.

I Am Interested In:
  • Playing characters of various genders. If you're comfortable with me playing a non-binary character, you're automatically on my good side! I'm very comfortable playing both male and female characters. I usually put an androgynous or gender non-conforming spin on them, but sometimes have cool ideas that don't fuck with gender roles.

  • Romance and/or Smut. I like both! They aren't necessary though, and I'm not so into them that I want to force it with characters that just don't click that way. After all, what fun is it if there's no chemistry? I'm willing to do short smut scenes, but my ideal would probably be 70/30 Story/Smut.

I am not comfortable doing romance/smut with someone under 20, and would strongly prefer a bit older. I am 28 and do a lot in my community mentoring younger trans folks and I just can't relate to people in that age bracket in a romantic or sexual context.

Also, if we're planning on having romance or smut, I like to be clear when we start! I won't add any unless we explicitly talk about it OOC. I know sometimes folks might feel embarrassed to state what they want explicitly, but I'm really not comfortable engaging that kind of story unless we can talk about it candidly.

I'm very sex-positive and don't think it's anything to be ashamed about! And many of us have probably experienced some amount of being shamed for things, so I'd rather just strongly go in the other direction with clear communication instead of having muddled communication where folks want different things and someone ends up feeling creeped on.

  • Mature Themes. Other than sexual themes, I like delving into more psychological stories where characters have to make decisions with real impact. I have no qualms about violence, gore, etc. I am very attracted to settings with interesting worldbuilding and very different structures to our own, in addition to ones that reframe or flanderize current world scenarios for consideration.

That said, I am not usually in the mood for a constant descent into depression, so I'd like it if stories with more extreme themes either have breaks (which, you know, can also help heighten tension) or if my rp partner is okay with me taking a bit to reply if I need to recharge. I'm a human with a few generally well-managed mental illnesses, but sometimes you get a flareup and compassion is appreciated.

  • Flexibility and Readability. I typically write in paragraphs and I like to give details and explanations of my characters thoughts and backgrounds. I can do short or long posts, though for short posts I'd prefer us both being online so the story moves at more than a snail's pace. I'm not a stickler for grammar, but I don't have the best sight so breaking posts up into paragraphs helps me out a ton. I will definitely not complain about larger fonts either, haha.

  • Communication. I like to know where we both want to go with a story, make plots together, worldbuild together if possible, and generally have a good time! If there's something in my character or style that's not meshing or we have a chemistry problem, I'd like to talk about it and fix it! I'm not super sensitive, I don't mind making adjustments or just acknowledging incompatibilities. Feel free to let me know if something isn't working, and I would love to extend the same courtesy.

By this token, I do my best to respond to posts fairly quickly and communicate if I need to be afk for longer than usual. I'd love a heads up if you'll be gone for a week or more, just so I don't worry that I've been ghosted.
Please Miss Me With:
  • Pedophilia/Beastiality
(Obviously, this is against the rules anyway)
  • Incest
  • Sexual Gore
    (Sexual cannibalism, vore, torture, etc.)
  • Most Extreme Degrading Abuse
(Destroying self-esteem, extreme slave stuff, etc.)
  • Vomit/Scat/Watersports
    (I don't consider squirting/gushing to be watersports)
I'm Hella Into:
  • Praise Kink/Gentle Doms(If you don't know what this is, ask me for my beginner's phrase list, it's hot)
  • Bratty Subs/Power Struggles
  • Psychological Domination/Manipulation
(More about control than just calling someone a cumslut)
  • Finger Licking/Sucking
  • Realistic Sexual Situations
(Ex. someone having a hard time getting it up, or having to manage when one or the other person orgasms, getting a hair stuck in your throat. Not necessarily sexy, but helps me see them as people.)
  • Accidentally Sexy Situations
(Two people get into a situation and decide to just roll with it)
  • Double Penetration/Anal
  • Bondage/Restriction
  • Situational NonCon
(With the right partner and the right scenario, ex. forced relationship, lighter ownership/slave/pet scenarios, rival/enemy capture)
  • Furry Lite
(I need a mostly human head to work with, think Cloud Meadow cat/wolf anthros)

Story Ideas [Updated 6/21]

Just some ideas that have been rolling around in my head, but I'm just as willing to try out other folks' stories! Hopefully, these can give an idea of how I think about stories and the kinds of plots I can come up with. I've got quite a backlog of ideas over the years, so I'll just be slowly adding them as I have time.

My preferred characters are underlined.

A single mother works tirelessly to bring up her daughter in a tough world. Finally, her coming of age ceremony arrives-- she is turning 20 and has a promising future ahead. At this point, her dear mother suddenly remembers-- this is the world of an otome game she played in her past life... and her daughter is the main character.

Panicking, the mother works together with her daughter to protect her from all manner of shenanigans, and especially from a variety of male love interests who range from too dumb to live, dangerously low on boundaries, to full on yandere.

Honestly just thought this was a cool idea! Don't mind if one person wants to play the mother and another the daughter, or if one person wants to play both and the other person does love interests (the mom can have some too, whatever works.) I just like the idea of a mom and daughter team taking on ridiculous problems that come up because of really inconsiderate guys in positions of power macking on the adult daughter.

After a camping trip goes awry, a modern human finds themselves lost in the wilderness. Close to death, they are saved and brought to a nearby village. After waking, they learn they have somehow ended up in another world populated by shapeshifters-- moving between two forms, one animal and one human.

The people who took them in don't recognize their species based on scent, and the lone human has to learn to live in a world with a radically different life and culture to their own. Main characters are the modern human and the shapeshifter who rescued them, species and genders open to whatever! Would love to develop the world more with an rp partner.

In a certain kingdom, there is an immensely powerful sorcerer known as a monster. From a young age, he showed immense power that caused shock and awe in those around him. In a highly stratified society, even the King cannot offend this man for fear he could destroy the entire country by himself.

One day, he encounters a visitor in the castle who is somewhat different. They speak to him normally, and act as if they aren't afraid of him at all? He questions them, unsure if he is offended or intrigued.

"You aren't afraid? I could easily kill you."

"Haha, you and everyone else. Pick a random person on the street and they could kill me easily. To me, your danger level is exactly the same."

This strange individual is one of the charity cases of the local hospital, being treated by physicians in training at the medical academy. Everywhere he is strong, they are weak, everywhere he is independent and stands above others, they are interdependent and rely on others to survive.

Thus starts a series of interesting conversations that change how the master magician views himself and human relations at large.

A modern human is reborn in a fantasy world. They had always loved demons, and because of that have a strange reputation among the villagers. At their coming of age ceremony, they must state their life goal before the goddess, a sacred ceremony which no one can interfere with.

Everyone is filled with anxiety about what this strange person will do.
And they don't disappoint, clearly stating before man and gods that they vow to become the Demon Lord. No one has ever heard of a demon lord before, demons act individually and don't seem to have the capacity for large scale organization. They get ridiculed and disdained for blasphemy, but hold true to their goal and begin traveling.

The only problem is... There actually is a Demon Lord already, but he has cleverly hidden his existence from humans in order to cause them to underestimate demons and manipulate events from the shadows. Now that the reborn character has declared themselves the Demon Lord, everyone starts talking about the position, and he must spring into action to prevent them from ruining decades of work.

There is a dimension where all beings have the god-like power to manipulate the world around them with a thought. Their society is peaceful, and nothing ever goes wrong because when things go wrong it gets covered up. (Think respectability politics x toxic positivity.)

One such being is victimized by one of their peers, and seeking justice instead of quietly pretending like nothing happens results in their total ostracization from society. Their mental health gets worse and worse until one day their powers follow their disassociation instead of their will and they "fall out of space."

They wake up on a battlefield in another world, surrounded by humans. Having never seen such vicious displays, they are utterly horrified. The humans, on the other hand, see the shining being and worship them as a deity, bringing them along to the castle for "protection" as proof that the gods favor them in the war.

Terrified, the godling tries to keep up a divine image out of fear of these violent creatures and what they may do if they turn on them. One day, in the castle, they feel a presence that is more similar to their own race and run into their arms-- unbeknownst to them, this individual is a high-level demon who has infiltrated the castle in disguise.

The demon recognizes the unique opportunity he has been presented with, and goes along with the godling's belief that they are from similar societies. He tells the godling that he will protect them, and teaches them how to act to convince the humans. Meanwhile, he is actually manipulating the godling to his own ends, aiding in the fight between the demon and human armies. With a godling on his side, who already thinks humans are evil, he is sure to take over the world.

No preference between characters here because honestly either would be hella fun. A godling who ends up being twisted into a weapon against humanity or a demon who plays a prince on a white horse while actually being an evil chessmaster.

In the future, virtual reality technology is widespread. An office worker with a stressful job pays membership fees to the Fetish Club, which allows members to live out their sexual fantasies (ex. noncon) in a controlled environment. Each member fills out a list of fetishes and limits, and are then paired with a partner for the scene.

Said worker plays through a few scenes and starts noticing that they are getting matched to the same dom. (Doms generally have a personal safeword they use, separate from universal safewords that can automatically end the session by logging out. Appearances of each person are usually different each time to match the scene.) After realizing they keep playing with the same person, they become brave enough to check the "surprise me" box for the next session.

As expected, it's the same person. At the end of the session, they elect to meet in the lobby, where members use their chosen avatar and can speak out of character. The office worker confirms that the dom is the same one they keep getting paired with. After talking for a while, the dom proposes they do a scene with their body scans (their real appearances instead of using avatars).

On a busy city street, one bar has particularly heavy wooden doors. Inside is a relaxing establishment with dimmed lights and music just loud enough that you can't hear conversations in the booth over. The nice mood and private seating make it a popular and safe hookup spot, as well as a good meetup location for local BDSM clubs.

A certain playboy has been utilizing this establishment for some months, but tonight for whatever reason he gets sloshed instead of laid. With no phone or wallet and the bar closing down, the responsible bartender takes him to the back room to sleep it off, unexpectedly getting flipped onto the bed while laying him down.

His breath reeks of alcohol as he presses them into the sheets.
"I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to remove yourself, sir. I'm not going to take advantage of you while you're drunk."

The situation is ridiculously funny to him, he's pretty sure it was the other way around.

In this world, there is no concept of women. Everyone is a man, but some have a penis and others a vagina. Men capable of giving birth are less common than the other type, and to protect them from being exploited or bullied usually hide their condition until marriage.

A particular young man was born with a very feminine face and body structure. He is commonly bullied, and one day gets cornered and accused of being a "breeder". The assault is stopped, but rumors fly around school-- everyone seems to "know" his genital status and won't stop talking about it.

After class, one of the more popular, handsome guys in school calls him out. He expects more of the same snide remarks and sexual advances, but unexpectedly, he confesses that he is actually a breeder himself. He's been through similar violence, and wants to support the feminine guy if he ever needs help.

He is taken aback and doesn't have time to say anything, but slowly gets to know this popular, handsome man who keeps helping him out. The only problem is... The feminine guy isn't actually a breeder at all-- everyone just assumes because of his pretty face. He ends up caught in a lie, not of his own making, pressured into keeping up the ruse or risk losing the first real friendship-- or possibly more-- he has ever had. An awkward love story ensues.

A technologically modern world where the internet has always been restricted based on country. (There is no global network.) Cultures retain more of their historial aesthetics in some ways, such as clothing and socializing being more ritualized and less casual. Less emphasis on individualism and more on civic responsibility and appropriate conduct.

Polyamory is the norm in this country, albeit with elaborate matchmaking rituals, and the story follows five characters attending the same university.

1. A chronically ill nonbinary character who is well known among their friends for giving good advice. Assigned to be the friend of the princess due to good family standing and their down to earth nature. Actually gets along better with the princess's knight. Has a competitive streak and likes to tease people, but is not used to being the subject of teasing.

2. A princess who is gentle and flowery by nature, raised fairly sheltered but responsible in her duties. Obviously in love with her knight, but can't get it out. She is also easily swayed by flirtatious behavior, as most people treat her extremely politely and she never built up a tolerance to it.

3. The princess's knight, who gives off a princely aura. He is autistic, fairly stoic, and has difficulty expressing his emotions on his face. Often asks advice from the chronically ill character for things he doesn't understand. Follows well laid out social rules very well, but struggles with the elaborate courtship rituals which are largely passed along by common knowledge and word of mouth.

4. A playboy from a pirate nation, recently transferred to the university as a part of his world tour. He frequently encounters cultural clashes with both professors and students, not understanding the extreme attachment to being as round about as possible. He hits on everything, but is actually really into shy types.

5. A book loving girl who hangs out in the library and is rather solitary. The princess has been wanting to make friends with her, but waffling back and forth on the how. She is quiet, but not actually antisocial-- she just really likes books and stories.

Everyone can flirt with everyone. The characters can all have interesting dynamics with each other, and since polyamory is the norm there's no limit! One person can play multiple characters, or could be a larger group roleplay.
