Greetings and salutations!
I am definitely far from lost, but one might say my muchness is lost. My usual writing board just isn't enticing anymore, and it has been a fair bit since I last wrote. So, here I am to take a stab at something new/different.
As for myself, I've been writing on and off for 16 years now give or take. The bulk of my experience has been high fantasy, some of which with a modern twist. I dabble in scifi and high tech genres. I do enjoy the more grim and macabre themes, though I feel it's a weaker area for me. Feel free to make your own observation!
I can do a pretty solid western; follow that with steampunk and that covers my familiar work. I'm pretty open to styles outside my comfort zone. I can write male or female, again, critique as you will, but male is the more common. I've written in a lot of groups, but I prefer smaller groupings or pairs.
I wouldn't say I'm an elitist by any means, but I do push myself to write my best. I tend to write longer passages, but enjoy the challenge of trying to be succinct. (Length can be it's own challenge too!)
Lastly, I tend to have an odd working schedule. It's been more calm recently but it's not unusual for me to switch from days to overnights and then back in the same work week, so I do ask for a little patience in that regard.
Otherwise, I'm glad to be here and look forward to getting something going soon. If you have any questions over something I missed, feel free to give a shout! I'm generally pretty friendly and happy to chat as long as I'm not sleep deprived.
