Okay I'm going to start by pitching my (rough) idea and then I'm going to tell you what I'm looking for.
Our lives as we live them today, nothing seems out of the ordinary to the outside world but things sure have changed! After the latest elections men are in control and women are not valued as much anymore. There are still some female CEO's and on other high place positions but they are having a hard time.
The law has changed quite a bit and crazy laws are still passing every day. If a woman is lucky she marries out of love but nowadays marriage is mostly a claim. If a man wants a woman in marriage he only has to tell her parents or guardian that he is taking her as his wife. If he can't he has to take it to count which is highly costly and time consuming. So most don't bother going there. After marriage the man is responsible for the woman, marriage can only end if the man dies, asks divorce or passes his wife on to another man.
The craziest law of all must be the bedroom law, if a man has a woman in his bedroom he can do as he pleases without repercussions. The law states that it must be the official bedroom but law enforcement isn't really strict about it so some men have a bed in every room trying to trick women. If a woman can prove she was tricked or that a man is setting women up the can go to court and try to get him convicted. If successful it could lead to longtime imprisonment.
There are activists trying to fight to new laws and trying to get those men convicted. That is where my character comes in play. She is one of those activists, she is a victim of the laws herself but got away. The leading woman of the group took her in and she made a good career hunting down men that do wrong. Making her loved by women and hated by men.
This is the idea so far but I was to have more laws so feel free to suggest!
I want this RP to be open to newbies and veteran's , I understand that could lead to shorter posts but I believe with help everyone can grow. That said I'm not looking for one liners, I want everyone to have something to look forward to and to have something to work with. That's why I think communication is key! It would be nice if you'd be able to play more then one character if needed. Oh and Dyslexia isn't a issue for me, neither is it when you're first language isn't English (mine is not so...)
As for post rates, I'm a busy person but I find that with multiple players it's easier to keep going with an RP. The minimum is at least once a week. If people like we could even try to meet up and play but that probably depends on who's joining, so that's not set in stone!
Now comes the fun part! Characters! I want people to have to chance to mold a character the way the see them but in order to play this RP i need some basic characters.
* The leading woman of the activists ( @Dionisia )
* At least 2 bad men
* A good guy MC can "use" ( @LadyCroatoan )
* Maybe an extra woman (victim?)
If you want one of these roles just let me know! It would be nice if you could let me know a bit about the character you have in mind.
