Hi!

I'm Sawyer. I come primarily from tabletop roleplaying, with quite a few years spent playing Warhammer, Call of Cthulhu, D&D, and various other games, both as a player and a GM. I discovered written roleplay more recently and quickly fell in love with the rather different pleasure of building a story with someone instead of simply telling one on my own.

I primarily write male characters opposite adult female characters, in third person, usually around four or five paragraphs per reply. That isn't a quota, though. I'll happily write more when a scene calls for it and considerably less when two characters are simply having a conversation. I usually reply several times a week, and what I enjoy most is writing with someone who brings their own ideas to the story, creates characters and NPCs of their own, and occasionally surprises me with something I never saw coming.

I enjoy romance and smut, but the characters themselves are what keep me invested. Give me their passions, contradictions, bad habits, insecurities, and their unfortunate ability to make decisions that seem perfectly reasonable right up until the consequences arrive.

🩸 VAMPIRES, ANNE RICE & HISTORY

Interview with the Vampire is one of my current obsessions, both Anne Rice's novels and the TV series. I love her vision of vampires as immortal creatures who nevertheless remain painfully human, still perfectly capable of loving, regretting, envying, hating, and developing wonderfully complicated relationships.

I'm also passionate about history, and vampires give me a wonderful excuse to combine those two interests. I'd love to place our characters within a genuine historical setting and play with the events, attitudes, customs, and society surrounding them. I don't have one particular period in mind. Finding the part of history that fascinates both of us would be part of the fun.

We could play a pair of vampires, lovers or companions or something considerably harder to define, who find themselves caught in the middle of a major historical event. Or we could tell something more intimate, following a human who crosses paths with a blood-drinker and gradually falls under their spell, either before discovering what they truly are or despite knowing perfectly well that getting closer is probably a terrible idea.

I'd be equally happy using Anne Rice's universe directly or creating our own vampire mythology inspired by it. What really appeals to me is the combination of history, horror, desire, and characters whose immortality has done remarkably little to solve their very human problems.

⚔️ WARHAMMER FANTASY

Warhammer is probably the fantasy setting I've spent the most time with, and I'd love to capture what I enjoy about it in RP: dark fantasy that is filthy, violent, occasionally horrifying, but still alive enough that it never becomes an endless exercise in misery.

I love its grand cities where palaces and temples stand only a few streets away from poverty and corruption, its forests where travelling alone is an excellent way to disappear, its wars, Chaos cults, mutants, undead, and all the unfortunate adventurers who continue drinking, laughing, falling in love, and trying to earn enough coin to reach the next inn despite living in an objectively dreadful world.

I'd rather begin with characters who are still relatively small within that world. Mercenaries, mages, ruined nobles, thieves, witch hunters, elves, dwarfs, or other adventurers might find themselves travelling together, accepting a contract, or investigating something that sounded considerably less dangerous when someone first offered to pay them for it. Where their troubles eventually take them can be something we discover together.

Knowing the lore is welcome, but absolutely not required. I know the setting well enough to help someone who loves the atmosphere without having spent an alarming percentage of their life reading Warhammer books.

❤️ SOMETHING MUCH MORE HUMAN

I'm just as happy putting the vampires and Chaos gods away and writing something far more ordinary. I have a particular weakness for romances involving a significant age gap, especially between a younger man and a much older woman.

One simple idea I really like is two neighbours. She might be in her sixties, seventies, eighties, or even older, with an entire life already behind her. He has recently moved into the neighbourhood. They begin by occasionally seeing each other, then talking, then finding small reasons to spend time together until the other's presence quietly becomes part of their routine.

What particularly interests me is a woman who doesn't necessarily think of herself as someone who could still be desired that way, especially by a much younger man. She doesn't need to be lonely or waiting for someone to rescue her. She may have children, grandchildren, friends, and a perfectly fulfilling life. It simply takes her a while to realise that her younger neighbour may no longer be coming over just because he enjoys the conversation.

Another idea begins on slightly less innocent ground. Two former high-school classmates meet again years later on a dating app. She used to be popular, beautiful, and particularly cruel to him. He recognises her immediately. She has absolutely no idea who he is.

She has changed considerably herself over the years, including gaining a great deal of weight. He initially starts talking to her with the rather petty intention of seducing her as a form of revenge, only to discover that the woman he is getting to know isn't really the girl he once hated anymore. Unfortunately for his carefully constructed little plan, he starts genuinely liking her.

I'm also very open to other slice-of-life ideas, particularly if you already have a female character you love and simply haven't found the right story for her yet.

🔥 THE LESS INNOCENT PART

Since this is Inner Sanctum, I might as well be clear about what attracts me.

I have a very strong weakness for older women and substantial age gaps. I certainly don't think a woman stops being desirable at sixty or seventy, and I'm perfectly happy exploring characters in their eighties or beyond.

I also have a considerable weakness for fat women. BBWs, SSBBWs, and genuinely extreme sizes are all very welcome. I like weight to actually exist within the character's description and everyday life, but I don't want it to replace her personality. A fat woman can be elegant, shy, commanding, intellectual, vulgar, athletic, lazy, spectacularly gluttonous, or anything else. I want to discover who she is first.

I'm also attracted to natural and imperfect bodies: body hair, sweat and natural musk, cellulite, stretch marks, indulgence, and varying degrees of being unkempt or messy. My kinkier interests include body worship, fat play, bodily fluids, watersports, and scat. I'm also curious about BDSM, and I tend to gravitate towards writing men who naturally fall on the more submissive side when paired with a woman who enjoys taking the lead.

None of this is a checklist. You absolutely don't need to share every kink I've mentioned, and every story certainly doesn't need to contain all of them. I'd much rather find the things we both enjoy and let the sexual side grow naturally from the characters and the story.

Sexual violence, non-consent, and incest aren't things I'm particularly interested in writing.

SO... WHAT NOW?

If anything here gave you an idea, come talk to me. You can take one of these prompts and change it, bring me something completely different, or simply introduce me to that female character you've wanted to write for months but haven't quite found the right story for yet.

I don't need to know how our story ends before we begin.

I just need both of us to want to find out what happens next.
