Hi there! My name is Summer (well, you can call me that) and I am a 32 year old woman living in Canada. While I have a few stories on the go right now, I am looking for something a little more light hearted and easy with this story—less planning, less pressure, more writing.
About me:
I’m pretty easy. You must be willing to play the male main character. Someone who can match/is similar to my posting length and speed, likes to plot and chat OOC, and is communicative. I am generally not ghosting friendly (we are adults and can communicate as such) and I just ask if you’re not feeling the story anymore to let me know!
The loose plot idea:
In all fairness, I got this plot idea from one of those AI-generated “movie” type things you can find online right now. I’d like to expand on the story as a team, but the general idea is the following: YC is a high-standing male of fae blood. He could be a general, a prince or king, a ruler, or whatever you choose. During one night of passion (think Calanmai from ACOTAR), YC and MC (a human woman) have sex. For whatever reason, this is one of the only time they have contact. YC could be tricked into thinking she’s actually an assassin, relations between human and fae are prohibited, or any other type of drama.
What YC doesn’t know is that MC became pregnant, giving birth to a half-fae, half-human daughter. An orphan or outcast herself, MC vows to protect and love their daughter, as well as keep her a secret from YC.
The problem? When the child begins to grow, her human body has trouble holding the magic of fae blood. The daughter grows sick, and MC has no choice but to return to the land of the fae to find a way to heal her.
The ensuing story will not necessarily be super angsty or dramatic, although it has can have its moments. I was thinking more of the way of meddling side characters rooting for the couple, a toddler that is always getting into trouble, and a reluctant-enemies-to-lovers trope that’s more comedic than it is dramatic.
I know it’s a pretty simple idea, but I really would love a story right now that’s low pressure, low stakes, and fun to write!

- I tend to post every day to every few days, and with this story, expect to write about 600-800 words per post.
