"So... you've decided to come into my Observatory and snoop into my tome. Well, you've seen too much so now you're my Apprentice. Your job is simple, traveler. Help me create an enchanting story to bring the world together. One devoid of needless gore, sexual language or scenes, and foul tongue. One that looking back you can say 'I helped create... a masterpiece. So traveler. Pick up that quill over there. Let's get to work."

✮ Rules ✮
☾⋆.˚ I am not picky on word count, paragraph count or the like. I simply ask for effort and dedication.
☾⋆.˚ Please do not control me nor my characters, as I will respect you and yours.
☾⋆.˚Perfection cannot be achieved till Heaven, and Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus utterly BORE this author.
☾⋆.˚ If you need to step away for a time, or lose interest, please let me know. As I will do with you. Ghosting will result in the roleplay opening for someone else.
"As you can see I can be a picky mistress. However I am the most difficult on myself, therefore I will be sure to follow these and any you ask of me. I take literature quite seriously, as you can see. And I hope I have impressed you with my thoroughness. If I have, Apprentice, the potential stories we could write are endless... but perhaps I'll share some ideas..."

✮Plots✮
✦The Vagrant and the Silent Princess✦ (slots: 1/1)
My character: Princess Salvia Amarillis
The Kingdom of Florista. A beautiful Kingdom known for its ever-blooming flowers, sparkling buildings and seemingly pink skies of cotton candy. A fairytale paradise... or seem it seems. Because a curse brought upon by the "goddesses" long ago- all Saturniidae Moths lose their mouths in adulthood. Usually this is fixed by a mage or priest of Shayleigh. However... this case isn't so easy. The King and Queen have a beloved daughter named Salvia. A Princess blessed at birth that her voice could bring good fortune to the Kingdom she chooses. But without a mouth, she cannot use this voice. Her parents, wanting to use this magic for their own benefit, tried and failed the usual cure. But when that fails, they decide to throw a royal gala for all of their subjects- thinking if Salvia gets married her voice will be unlocked.
One of these invitations falls into (Y/C- either a Butterfly or Moth)'s lap. Him, a vagrant. A thief. Someone overlooked. How did he get an invitation? In any case, he goes just for the food. Little does he know... he's about to fall not just in love but into a world of political intrigue, danger and secrets.
(There is a similar "silent" character I can use if you want to play as a human/dryad instead- in this case it'd be my character "Princess Rosetta Lilac")
✦A Tale of Two Colonies✦ (slots: 1/1)
My character: Chieftainess Orme Lavende
Romeo and Juliet is the "greatest love story ever told". While this is debatable, there is a version that many would consider zany. And perhaps fascinating.
In a "haunted" jungle in the middle of nowhere, there are two species that over the past centuries have sworn to destroy one another. Bloodshed- rather hemolymph-shed- is as common as breathing. While one species built a colony, expanded into a prosperous Kingdom and built alliances with dozens of neighboring provinces, the other spread out into smaller tribes, learned to live off the land and hold onto tradition as the glue that keeps them alive.
(Y/C) belongs to the larger colony. He's been told his whole life that the rival species- the Ampulex Compressa/Emerald Jewel Wasps- are monsters who kidnap your species' inhabitants for rituals, steals resources that belong to you, and are deserving to become extinct. (Y/C) decides to see for himself in a daring moment of curiosity... only to come across two of his own kind mistreating Orme- the Chief of one of the rival tribes. She's on death's door, the two assailants laughing at her misfortune. If this was truly deserved, why isn't her death swift? (Y/C) has a choice. Help his enemy and be thrown into a different world that will make him question everything he's ever heard, or turn a blind eye and let Orme die. The choice is up to you...
✦I Just Want to Help✦ (slots: 1/1)
My character: Duchess Charaya Cayrodianthus
After years of trying to make her fellow Flowering and Herbal Florae nobles see that the Wild Florae in their Empire of Paislie are deserving of fair treatment, Charaya throws her hands up and decides to go on the front lines herself, using her own funds and resources to slowly bring at least some temporary relief to the Wild slums. But when she visits a house, thinking it's abandoned, she's jumped by (Y/C), a Wild Florae that has a deep hatred for the other factions. After hearing Charaya's intentions, (Y/C) lets her off the hook just this once, but is deeply skeptical. When has a Flowering ever called about the Wild? But (Y/C) sees Charaya come more and more, and so he begrudgingly decides to help her. Only to realize that their small efforts are sending shockwaves in the luxurious palaces of the Flowering and Herbal- a ripple that will have unknown consequences on all of Paislie.
(If you'd rather be a female Wild instead, I can adjust to be a male Flowering)
✦Rocky Waters✦ (slots: 1/1)
My character: Quartermaster Freya "Gaiety" Richoe (future mother of Ivette)
The coastal town of Mayum hasn't been the same since the pirates rolled up onto her shores. That dreaded night is remembered by all- the wails of terror, the laughter of evil, families torn apart by scabbards, savings pillaged and the soul of the town sucked from it. The pirates rule with an iron fist, constantly making off with money and possessions from those under them. So when the pirates sail off to pillage another town, the townsfolk of Mayum decide to come out of hiding and have one night to themselves- whether it's gambling whatever else they have, drinking their sorrows away or obnoxiously dancing and shouting in the streets. (Y/C) watches with rolling eyes, but notices one of the pirates didn't go with the raiding party. Simply known as "Lady Gaiety" because of the ever-present cocky grin on her face. (Y/C) has heard about this particular Quartermaster helping pillage Mayum, but unlike her crewmates no blood taints her sword. And tonight? She doesn't wear a grin, she looks just as empty as everyone else. Curious, (Y/C) follows her into a tavern, and before he knows it he's caught up in a whirlind of tragic backstories, espianage and fighting the Pirate Lord himself...
✦To Steal the Veil✦ (slots: 1/1)
My character: Aubretia "Buzzing Lilac"
(Y/C) has heard tales since childhood about a mysterious veil said to have been shed from the "goddess" Shayleigh's eyes eons ago. Supposedly this is the cure to all of the curses she set upon the world. Determined to save your kind from their horrible curse (depends on clade), (Y/C) sets out to find this veil... only to be robbed by an infamous thief who insists on being called Aubrey. After some back and forth, (Y/C) convinces Aubrey to come on their quest, her tagging along for more selfish reasons. But as they travel the world together looking for this elusive artifact, the two grow closer. And turns out, this young robber has a lot more to her than her sass and pick-pocketing.
(can be platonic or romantic. In the case of romantic, Y/C must be a Bee or Wasp. Platonic can be other clades, humans, dryads, what have you)

Small note: I tried to add music to each prompt's title for mood setting but it didn't work... oh well! And I did try to add links for the characters I reference however that didn’t work either.
