Hi all!

I would really love to get the following RolePlay started again.

I would like to continue it as is, if possible, with the original characters. However, I am open to negotiation if you feel necessary.

I also had completed some rough planning as to future events for the characters, and would be more than happy to share these via PM!

If you are interested, please shoot me a PM, I’d love to hear from you. I would also love it if you have a writing sample available!

Here is a rough idea:
Maeve is deeply tied to her family's Texas farm. It isn't simply a home or a business toher—it represents her family, her late mother, and a promise Maeve made to keep fighting for it and for her father, Flynn. The farm is struggling financially, however, putting everything Maeve has worked to protect at risk.

Ryan, meanwhile, is the farm's best ranch hand. He's Canadian and lacks a green card, leaving him vulnerable to deportation. Losing Ryan would be devastating to both himpersonally and to the already-struggling farm, where his skills and reliability are invaluable.

Flynn therefore comes up with an unconventional solution: Maeve and Ryan will marry.

The marriage gives Ryan a reason to remain in the United States, while allowing him to continue working on the farm. The understanding is that it's temporary—after two years, theycan divorce and go their separate ways.

The problem is that Maeve never agreedto any of this beforehand.

She is essentially blindsided by the decision and placed in an impossible position. On one side is her anger at Flynn for making such an enormous decision about her life without her consent. On the other is the farm's precarious situation and the promise she made to her dying mother. Ultimately, Maevedecides that preserving her family's home is worth enduring something she never wanted.

And that brings her into a marriage with a man she barely knows.

But what happens when their feelings for one another are no longer a charade?
