hey there! i'm rom, and i apologize in advance for how messy/quick this request thread is. i'm looking for a roleplay partner who would be interested in, essentially, what the title of this thread states! for more information about me, click here to read my introduction post. if you're interested in a western romance between an outlaw and a bounty hunter and want to know more about that and me, keep reading! if not, thanks for clicking anyways, haha. maybe our roleplay paths will cross again in the future.
firstly, let me re-state something i mentioned in my introduction post. i'm a twenty-three year old college student, so i'm not always going to be the most active as a roleplay partner. my schoolwork comes first, and the majority of it is written, so my writing assignments take priority. that being said, the amount of classes and work i have change from month to month, so my activity will fluctuate. in terms of my post length, i try to mirror my partner's posts. that being said, i prefer a partner who will produce at least two to three paragraphs per post. depending on my muse, i may go well over that amount. i usually aim for over five hundred words per post, but it really just depends on my partner!
anyways, let me get into this plot and the aspects it will include. so, as the title states, this is a western romance revolving around an infamous outlaw and an equally infamous bounty hunter. this will be a period piece that takes place in 1886, though don't be intimidated if that's not your typical time period... to be honest, i've never done a roleplay in the 1800s, so this will be my first time experimenting with such a setting! i've done some research to familiarize myself with the time, but i'm still trying to learn. if you are experienced in 1800s roleplay, please forgive me for any mistakes i may make! i will always appreciate any guidance or constructive criticism you have to offer in that regard.
now, before i get into the meat of the roleplay, let me specify that i want this to be a slowburn romance. if you're anticipating a romance that develops quickly, please turn back now. as this roleplay will focus on two men in the wild west in 1886, this relationship will build slowly and will not be something they share openly, at least in the beginning. anticipate period typical homophobia and other forms of ignorance, depending on the other qualities of your character. gore and violence will be included due to the nature of our characters' professions and the environment of the wild west. i'm perfectly comfortable with both, but please don't be overly gratuitous with the gore. in addition this, i'd prefer if there was some sexual interaction between our characters as the roleplay develops, but it doesn't have to be the focus of the roleplay, nor would i want it to be. as such, i'll be providing a list of kinks and limits down below. also, in this roleplay, i'd prefer if my character took more of a submissive/bottom role in sexual situations. i usually play dominant or switch characters, but the character i've developed for this roleplay just seems more suited to fill a submissive/bottom role.
m/c (my character) is a bounty hunter who has been active across colorado, new mexico, the territory of utah, the territory of wyoming, and the territory of montana for the past eight years. he's a vigilante outlaw himself, with a large bounty on his head that no one has yet been able to collect. as such, he has made himself an enemy of outlaws and bounty hunters alike for a multitude of reasons. y/c (your character) can have any background you'd like, but, at the moment, he's an infamous outlaw who has a bounty on his head himself. a bounty m/c is currently after. m/c and y/c cross paths one day in the badlands of montana, at which point m/c manages to capture y/c alive, something he never does. he only does so as y/c is caught without bullets or much in means of defenses or resources, causing m/c to resist his urge to kill him on the spot. instead, m/c takes him captive and plans to deliver him to the nearest sheriff, but they're about five days out from the closest town. as the days pass, m/c and y/c get to chatting, and both have realizations about the other. first, y/c recognizes m/c for who he is and barrages him with questions of his past. as a result of this, m/c and y/c realize they have a common enemy- an outlaw by the name of jameson "jesse" greene. again, it is up to you how y/c is involved with this man, but he has been wronged by him in some way or another. in m/c's case, jesse robbed a cattle drive he was a part of in his teens, and later killed the first man he fell in love with. after this conversation reveals their vested interest in revenge, m/c and y/c decide to team up. or, more so y/c convinces m/c to team up, and, after some discussion, m/c finally relents. thus begins their partnership. from here, i really don't have much more to go on, but i have a few little ideas for along the way as the plot further develops. i hope through ooc chatting we can plot more and plan where this roleplay is headed.
one thing i should mention about m/c is that he is 35 years old, so i'd prefer if y/c was anywhere from 26-44 years old, no more than 9 years younger, or 9 years older. m/c's faceclaim will also be tom mison, so please choose a realistic faceclaim, no anime, cartoons, etc. be warned that i plan to give him heavy facial scarring, which i will include in his character sheet, but i can't exactly include them in reference pictures of tom mison without some extensive editing, which i don't have the skills for, haha. i'd also prefer if y/c was a bit more of a smooth-talking, sneaky sort of character who is skilled at talking himself out of dire situations. y/c being a talkative troublemaker would play best against m/c, who is more quiet, reserved, hardened, and serious... and maybe a little awkward from years of social isolation. i think that dynamic would be the best way for m/c to open up.
the last request i have is that if you choose to roleplay with me, you engage in ooc chatter with me. i really like plotting the roleplay out instead of going in blindly, because otherwise, i get a bit anxious on what i should be writing next, if i'm controlling the roleplay too much, doing something my partner wouldn't like, etc. we don't have to plot out every little move our characters make, of course, but i prefer to have some idea of where things are meant to be headed.
