This post is dedicated to the ongoing story called Fallout Secrets of the past. Below are the main characters and important side characters.

Spoiler: About the Story

100 years after the events of the war between the Brotherhood and the Institute life has returned back to normal for the wastelanders. Much of what was has passed now and only very few recall the events which almost destroyed the wastelands. When a group of exceptionally skilled vault hunters come across an unmarked vault and find a cryogenically frozen woman with amnesia, they unknowingly find themselves falling into a conspiracy that could claim all their lives. As the group tries to help the woman adjust to life after the nukes they slowly begin to uncover a truth that goes back almost 300 years in the making. Many truth begins to surface, dark secrets forced into the light as the wasteland races towards a nefarious plot that will spell the end.

History

Not much is known about Cores childhood or his upbringing, there have been bits and pieces here and there but no one truly knows exactly where he came from or grew up. It is known however that he is in fact prewar and was cryogenically frozen waking up when he was thirteen years old. What is known, is that Core is a mercenary who was once a Major in what was left of the Brotherhood of Steel before they fell. He spent much of his life exploring the wastelands and is known as one of the only men alive to travel from one side of the wasteland to the other without being killed. He is a part of the Legendary Vault Trio and has been vault diving with them for the past ten or more years. His only surviving family is his son Shawn, his wife died when he was thirty. He is well known through the wastelands and is considered to be a legendary figure to many.​

History:
Frank Duxes also known as the Mercenary Tank was born to Fred and Brenda Duxes on a small farm in the middle of nowhere. Tanks story is not special, it is not filled with tons of action at least as a kid, life was simple but hard. His days were often filled with farming and trying to help put food on the table as the world around them tried to take what they had. Ten years later Tanks brother was born and he was the one who took care of him while his parents worked. Tank was sixteen when his parents like many died in a raider attack leaving Tank and Aaron as orphans. Tank spent the next many years raising and supporting his brother doing any job he could for food, for caps. It is unknown when his career as a mercenary started or even who trained him, but it is known that Tank became quite the boogey man to many would be raiders. His fame grew practically over night and everyone wanted to hire him for his services. Tank has become a well known entity in the wastelands and is in his own right a legend in the mercenary world with an 100 percent job completion rate to back it up. Is often referred to as the Savant of Killing.​

History:
Techs story out of the lot is probably considered the most saddest or unfortunate as far as stories in the wastelands go. He never knew his real parents, he was abandoned on a farm belonging to Mary and James Hickory who begrudgingly took him in. Life was always hard for Tech, he was not the strongest and physical labor just was impossible for him, the only thing he was really good at was technology, something of which there was no use of out on the farm. His life was far from perfect but even so when it was ripped from him by raiders and his only family was murdered it haunted him to no ends, driving him far away from the farm he grew up on. Sometime later Tech appeared in Diamond City where he started to make a name for himself as a technological genius. He found his talent for technology very quickly and in no time he was the go to guy if you need something hacked, something fixed, built, a gun modified, a turret system for home defense, he was the guy you wanted for the job. He has often been referred to as a technological genius and is well known around the wastelands, his mark often left on many a things.​

History:
Much like his father Shawn does not have much of a history that is well known. His upbringing is a mystery however around the age of sixteen he left home after the love of his life Elizabeth died a year earlier. It has been determined that in a fit of rage, Shawn mortally wounded his mother before disappearing into the wastelands which caused her eventual death. After this it was nothing but much speculated rumors of Shawn or Gear as he became known as terrorizing the wastes and those that lived within it. He became a nightmare that appeared just long enough to cause damage and than disappear just as quickly. It was like this for many years before Gear took over the Nuka Cola plant in the badlands which housed one of the worst raider gangs to exist. He was in control of this gang for two years before it was completely destroyed by a group of mercenaries and Shawn was mortally wounded. Thought to be dead, he still lives and is still very much feared by much of the wastelands.​
