Plot 1
"Return to the Ark"
Setting: post apocalyptic

Your character and Evren grew up together in the underground cities. There weren't many other kids your age growing up, so it really stung when he betrayed you and your entire community when he just... disappeared.

Setting:

This roleplay takes place in a world after humanity wiped itself out on the surface and has been living for hundreds of years in isolation underground. Conditions are tough, even below the surface; people don't live past 30 here. Most people can only live this long with breathing aids, but the newest generation finally have had a few kids with lungs that can adapt to the air. They are selected for "The Ark Project": a controlled recolonization program designed to retake the surface - these kids are told that they are special and trained for the sole purpose of being good members of the new society above. Your character and Evren was part of this new initiative, but only a month before your mission began Evren disappeared without a trace. Your character continue going through with the 'Ark project', and move into a small settlement with a few others on the surface.

Naturally this project is not all that it seems....
(I imagine they would be start 20s)

Evren:
Your character remembered Evren as the person who always had to test the tension in the room. He was sharp-tongued, and provocative. In training for the Ark Project, he was always the one pushing limits too far. Not in a heroic way—more like he couldn’t stand the idea that survival had to mean obedience. He’d question instructors, reroute drills, or “accidentally” expose flaws in systems everyone else depended on. Half the time he got disciplined for it. The other half, he was right. He would always try to drag your character along for his stupid plans (maybe your character joined his antics, maybe your character were the voice of reason that grounded him?).

With your character he was ten times worse than with others, but it was different. He’ll get under Your characters skin just to see your reaction. But when it actually matters—when things go wrong in the tunnels, when someone gets hurt, when fear starts creeping into the group—he’s suddenly precise, steady, almost frighteningly competent. He always seem to assume you can keep up. Your character might understand this about him, or be infuriated by him.

Whether people liked him or not; when Evren disappeared it leaves a strange gaping hole in the Ark Project's usual dynamic.

More to come.... : )
