My name is Sophia, but I like going by Phia for short. Clearly I'm new here, but excited to get started and learn how things work around here.
I'm 26, and I've been an avid Role-player since probably around 12 or 13. Writing is my greatest passion, and when I hit dry spells in my own work I enjoy Role-playing to both pass the time and in hopes of sparking some new inspiration.
Fantasy and High Fantasy are the genres I most enjoy, often mixed with Adventure of course, and Romance when it calls for it. Mystery and Suspense/Angst are always good too. Who doesn't enjoy when the feels get intense lol? I'm a multiple paragraph/novella Role-player, and am often very detailed. Mostly with character thought (I write in the 3rd person), and I find that I lack in combat-oriented Role-plays. I do enjoy them, though. I just need more practice writing it. Specifically combat movement and such.
My writing inspirations, and worlds I enjoy using sometimes when not creating something original (sometimes it's a nice break Role-playing in something preexisting, not necessarily with preexisting characters), are: Lord of The Rings, Underworld —and anything Vampires, really— and because I'm a weeb/nerd also the Dragon Age games, Naruto, InuYasha, and probably a lot of others that I really don't need to keep listing lol. You can just ask me? I don't bite XD.
Well, I've rambled enough! Let me just say that I do work week days between 8am and 5pm EST, usually. Covid-19 is wreaking us right now :'D Which gives me 3 weeks free time for now! So aside from now, I will generally be unavailable during the day. If I do begin writing with any of you, I promise to commit at least a post a day, if not more, or to match what I receive. Sometimes life happens though, and I am the last person to rush anyone. Likewise, as long as I communicate things to you, I hope you can be understanding, too ^_^!
