Greetings, my dears,

I posted this in the introduction section, but maybe it is better suited here.

You may call me Lady Rose. I write as I am — with intention, courtesy, and a fondness for language shaped by another age. My voice carries the manners and cadence of the nineteenth century, and I delight in weaving that tone through every story I help bring to life.


I have been writing and roleplaying for several years, favoring character-driven narratives rich in emotion, consequence, and atmosphere. I believe stories should be allowed to breathe, to unfold naturally, and to linger where they must. A rushed tale is rarely a memorable one.


The genres closest to my heart include:

• Mythology (Greek, Norse, and original mythos)
• High and low fantasy
• Dark fantasy
• Supernatural and divine beings
• Historical or historical-inspired settings
• Political intrigue and power dynamics
• Slow-burn romance woven gently into plot

At present, I find myself particularly drawn to darker tales, such as:

• Modern or historical vampire stories
• Witches, covens, forbidden magic, and old rituals
• Morally grey immortals and cursed beings
• Power imbalance, temptation, and dangerous devotion
• Stories where love and ruin walk hand in hand

What I am seeking just now:

• A long-term partner for a dark fantasy or mythological story
• Emotionally layered characters with complicated bonds
• Slow-burn romance marked by restraint, tension, and inevitability
• Fate-bound connections, reluctant alliances, or dangerous unions
• Stories with real stakes — personal, political, or supernatural

What you may expect of me, should we write together:

• Replies ranging from multi-paragraph to novella length, guided by the scene rather than obligation
• Thoughtful pacing; I value quality and immersion over rapid-fire exchanges
• A response cadence of several times per week, life permitting — I communicate openly should delays arise
• Consistent effort, emotional investment, and respect for your characters and ideas
• Enthusiasm for plotting, discussing themes, and shaping the story together

My writing habits, for clarity’s sake:

• Third person, past tense
• Descriptive, character-focused prose
• A preference for depth over brevity

A few gentle expectations, if I may be so bold:

• I write exclusively with fellow adults
• Courtesy and communication are treasured
• I do not permit god-moding or control of my characters
• While romance and intimacy may grace a story, they must serve the narrative — never replace it
