Hello! Trying to leave the plot open so that your character can be whatever/whoever you want. Possibilities range from another kingdom, bounty hunter, concerned citizen, enemy of the crown... The choice is yours! This is a dark fairytale with the intention being enemies to lovers, so be creative and have fun! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Kyra was raised in darkness and solitude. The daughter of the woman their kingdom called The Evil Queen, she grew up under the shadow of fear and hatred. Her father, a blood mage, had been killed years ago by villagers who believed him to be a vampire preying on their own. Only after his death did the villagers learn they had been tricked by the real vampire and had put an innocent man to death. In the wake of his murder, Kyra's mother fell into violent grief. She twisted her sorrow into unrelenting cruelty. Using her dark magic, she turned the kingdom into a living nightmare... She brought about extreme taxes, began demanding monthly, human sacrifices to grow her power, and let famine and poverty spread like plague.
But Kyra was nothing like her mother. She was gentle, compassionate, and kind. Whenever she could escape her mother’s lessons in dark magic, she would slip through the cellar tunnels, hide her face behind a cover, and bring food to those in need.
Kyra saw a side of her mother that no one else did. She saw a woman broken by loss, whose cruelty was born from pain. A softer side, reserved only for Kyra that still held her mother's version of love. It was that fractured tenderness that made Kyra love her still, even as she longed for freedom from her mother’s shadow and the dark empire she was expected to inherit.
Unknown to Kyra, someone had begun watching her on those outings. Someone who had grown sick of her mother's twisted games. (Your OC) has decided to use Kyra to try and bring her mother to justice and end her cruel reign. Will the two find only animosity or will they manage to forge a bond that can defeat the darkness that Kyra's mother found comfort in?
