Hello! I figured it was about time to make a new thread to freshen things up a bit
My rules are pretty simple. I'm just looking for someone who's literate and can produce a reply that's several paragraphs long. I do prefer literacy over length though, so as long as you can write a coherent sentence I'd be happy with just a couple of paragraphs.
My main character is Basil, a femboy catboy. His schtick is he's a wanna be actor living 'the life' in the big city, working minimum wage in a crummy apartment. But we can change that up to fit whatever plot we decide on. I'm open for most if not all plots, preferably modern era, but here's a few ideas!
I love the idea of Basil meeting someone at work. Currently he works at a department store, I usually put him in the jewelry department but we can change that. Maybe he goes against a 'Karen' type, or maybe your character has money and tries to flaunt it to the pretty boy sitting across the counter. Details can be worked out.
Could always do the boss and employee thing. For this I have a preference for Basil working in a more white collar setting, maybe he's an intern or secretary for your character? But anything would work here, it's a fairly generic plot afterall
Master/pet. You either love it or loathe it, but I won't deny it's a firm favourite of mine. So many fun variations. Can pair well with most of the other ideas here. We can have our characters meeting for the first time, or have them be together for awhile if you wanna jump straight into the fun stuff lol.
I'm thinking some variation of a witch and her familiar? This one can be either modern era or a traditional fantasy piece. A wizard or warlock would also be welcome of course. We can discuss the nitty gritty in PM!
I have been playing with the idea of Basil being a caregiver to someone with a disability? Maybe your character is blind, or elderly, or whatever. Romance is welcome but not necessary.
I have been thinking about a farm setting. Maybe we could teeter that line of humanity and make Basil a sort of barn cat? Visiting a barn cat cousin or something where he meets your character? Things to be discussed.
Something Horror is always welcome! Maybe Basil dies and goes to hell, maybe he went to the cabin in the woods even after that crazy old coot at the gas station told him not to, maybe your character is a stalker or serial killer and Basil is the latest target? Possibilities are endless!
I love reenacting fairy tales. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite but you can't go wrong with most of them.
I have also had the idea of doing a parody of those cheesy Hallmark movies. Basil goes back to his hometown and meets your character, they hit it off, all that. Maybe he's just visiting, or maybe he had to move back because his acting career failed and he's just pretty bummed out about that to start.
Final idea I have is your character is a celebrity and Basil meets them and tries to use them to advance his career. The gag being, of course, that he isn't actually very good at acting. Maybe your character tries to help him get better, or maybe they just like having some pretty guy simping for them while they dangle the promise of success on a stick.
As for your character I really don't have any preferences. Make them whatever you want to play, no matter how obscure or out there. Make them young or old, fat or thin, human or monster, pretty or ugly, whatever you want! I'm just happy to write so bring me your characters! I'll love to see 'em!
