Hi, I'm fairly new to the site itself but have been roleplaying on and off for around five years! Got an itch for some new threads as a few of my old RP partners have fallen off the handle, so here we go.

ABOUT
My name is Swann (zie/hir/he/him pronouns), and I am a nineteen year old university student
with roughly five years of roleplaying experience. I live in the GMT +8 timezone so our responses
may not match up at the exact same times, just so you're aware! I also have some mental illnesses
I am not willing to disclose that cause me to have some amounts of short-term and even long-term
memory loss so I tend to document everything about my roleplay threads pretty meticulously
(from rp partners' preferences to extensive worldbuilding).
Hardline preference for third-person, paragraph-style roleplays. Ideally I would love to have a
novella/literate writing partner able to match my multi-paragraph long responses, but I can also
chop it down depending on the pacing of the roleplay. In all honesty, I'm not a very fast writer. I
would prefer if responses (on each end) could be either once a day or once every few days or
even a week, because rapid-fire style threads have stressed me out a lot in the past. You're free
to respond as fast as you'd like, just please keep in mind I may not be able to do the same.
Anything fantasy is game for me, and I tend to mainly play more 'feminine'-presenting androgynous
elven characters (though this does NOT mean they are automatically bottoms or damsels in distress and this
preference can change depending on specific plotlines and so on). I'm open to playing side characters
and having a large cast of characters as well, on top of developing the world we write our main characters
in. Depending on the plot and the partner, I may create an entirely new character for the thread or pull out
one of my pre-existing ones.
In terms of romance, I primarily like to write M/M slowburn plots with ongoing interpersonal (and societal,
depending on the plot) conflict going on in the background to keep things interesting. While I'm open to
sexually explicit plots, I also am totally okay with fade-to-blacks. I absolutely adore developing characters
and the world around them with my writing partners so feel free to share with me your pinterest boards, playlists,
and anything you can think of!! Faceclaims aren't something I necessarily care about, but I will provide them for
partners who prefer them. Please also be able to communicate with me if you lose interest in the roleplay
or feel uncomfortable with anything! I'll understand if you want to stopβ just let me know.

each other's source of comfort in the isolation of their daily lives. Lots of court drama, angst
(maybe the orcish bodyguard could secretly be a spy for an orcish stronghold looking to muscle
in on their neighbouring prosperous elven kingdom) and gentleness.
from one of my own original stories, but it takes place in an Ancient Roman-esque empire, where
different 'princes' are designated for specific areas of government (e.g the prince-of-war (military),
prince-of-peace (diplomacy), prince-of-letters (philosophy/literature), etc.). The different princes all
serve the Emperor, or God-Emperor of the empire and more often than not has a very hard and strict
approach to ruling the capital city and its vassal regions. I would be interested to see the different ways
this plot could be played out- would your Emperor be a tyrannical one who seeks to use the prince of war
to satisfy his own dark ego, or a well-meaning albeit brusque figure?
somehow getting romantically involved with his captain. Will his fellow shipmates grow jealous and frame him for
a staged coup? Will something go horribly wrong, with the captain having to choose between saving
his first mate or the rest of his crew? Only time will tell.
their children compete to be chosen by the ruling family as part of the next generation of dragonknights.
Two boys from different houses are chosen, whether to squire for the same or two different dragonknights,
and through a combination of circumstances are pitted against each other.... as grown men, will they come
together, or tear each other apart?
