Hey! I'm that_psychstudent. You can call me Psych, Psyche, Student, or Cass/Cassie. Or Stud like @bathtub does. I honestly don't care. Call me what you want long as it isn't overtly inappropriate. Anyway, I've been writing pretty consistently for about 7ish years.
I've written almost everything. I like fandom stuff, sci-fi, dystopian, fantasy, modern, historical (ish), and more. I've even dabbled in romance. I'm not a fan of slice-of-life though, I get bored, I need some sort of action.
The only real hard no I have is NSFW romance/smut/ANYTHING sexual. I can't do past like PG-13. Like kissing, flirting, non-super explicit making out but ANYTHING past that has to be fade to black. That's about it. I also do prefer MxF for any romance and MxF or FxF for any stories in general
I am used to and willing to write multiple characters. I'm good at making up NPC's on the fly and I focus on creating a whole story and world. I really want someone who's willing to work with me, convo, plot and world-building. I really want someone who's dedicated to the story too and is willing to help narrate/push the setting and not make me do all the extra characters and stuff. I just wanna get into a good story, have some fun and make some new writing friends.
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
I honestly have no clue. I've never measured my responses. Most rping as an adult has been done almost solely on discord or google chats so i have no clue. I give how much I feel the response/story needs. Since being on here, I've done 150 words all the way up to 1k. So do with that what you will. I prefer 3rd person, and I just ask you have decent grammar. Like please.
I'm a college student so my writing schedule is quite often but at irregular times! I can respond up to 5+ times a day most times if my partner wants to/can. If not, that's totally okay. I'm really not picky.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
Violence is quite high. Gore slightly less high, but high still. As long as it's not like disgustingly explicit. I like dark stories with angst and stuff. I also like lighter stories. I'm really not picky.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
Yeah, Marvel and Star wars mainly, I'll occasionally bite at Percy Jackson world/fandom (aged up) but JUST OCs. I don't do CC or established characters. They gotta be your own, original characters with my original characters.
Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
Like I said, I really like dystopian, fantasy, some sci-fi, and some modern-ish stories. I'm not really a fan of strictly trope or pairings, but I'm willing to talk about using pairings as a guide to start off if the rest of the story is good.
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
I have a few fantasy plots, both high and low, a dragon x human one, a modern one, and a historical(ish) + magic plot.
Okay, so the first fantasy plot idea I have is a low fantasy/medieval idea. Basically, a redemption arc type vibe. There's a very mysterious, well know Assassin for hire who roams the land called the Shadow. Her real identity is a young woman named Leilah. Leilah's village was attacked by bandits when she was a kid and she was taken by the bandits as a slave, while her older brother and family were left for dead. To survive, she became what she needed too; the result of which was the Shadow. On the way to a job, she mostly accidentally saves someone from a bad situation, and they basically insist on coming along.
At the same time, there's the Singing Blade. The Singing Blade is a self-professed 'assassin's assassin'. He is after the Shadow, as Shadow is gaining popularity and rumours. Under the mask, however, the Singing Blade is an old friend from Leilah's past; one she thought was dead. One who used to hold a very dear spot in her heart. The Singing Blade runs into a young royal messenger, traveling the land doing his job. Like most of the other people in the story, he also has an alternate motive. He is looking for his little sister, stolen years ago in a bandit raid. The two men, both looking for the Shadow, decide to travel together for a bit.
So, enough for the background, but as the two groups begin traveling, both headed to the same village, must work through their own issues. Eventually the groups will cross paths. What will happen when they do? Who knows. Will Leilah's companion teach her to be/feel and act like a human again? Will the Singing Blade kill his target before she repents? Will the messenger put together the dots and discover who the Shadow is before the Singing Blade kills her?
(Any and all suggestions, edits and ideas from this plot/prompt/story idea are welcome and we can work to make the story our own)
Plots will be added as I go, I'm starting off with this one and I'm gonna be working on adding the others. I just wanted to get something out there.
