INTRODUCTION.
β hello! my name is ghost, but you can call me whatever you'd like. i'm twenty-two, and roleplaying is one of my absolute favorite hobbies, one i've been doing for the past decade. i decided to take a break early last year, though, and i'm finally trying to ease myself back in. i would like to find a few like-minded partners that'll help me do that! hopefully, everything you need to know has been laid out here, but if you have questions or anything, please feel free to leave a comment.
anyways, i'm a literate writer, averaging anywhere between 800 and 2000 words per post. i like to use the third person and past tense. other styles can be discussed if they're heavily preferred, though. both male and female muses are comfortable for me to write; i've never made anyone nonbinary before, but i'm open to it. any gender pairings work for me--i just have a preference for queer relationships. my mxf relationships even stray away from the heteronormative.
obvious spelling or grammar mistakes make me lose focus easily, so i do my best to check my posts over before sending them, and in character, everything will be formatted properly. lowercase is just for ooc. if anything slips through the cracks or i use a word or punctuation incorrectly, let me know! i love to improve upon my writing whenever i can.
my writing schedule is a bit loose. sometimes i can reply every other day, and other times, i can only get around to responding once a week. i'll always keep you updated on my estimations. ooc messages are a little different, though. i can respond several times a day, whether it be plotting, making headcanons or playlists, just chatting, etc. i love having some sort of rapport with my partners. we obviously don't have to be friends, but i find that roleplays last and are more enjoyable if we're friendly.
when it comes to sex scenes, it really depends on the plot itself and the characters, but i generally prefer a 30/70 sex-to-plot percentage. it can't happen immediately, either; i need a good slow burn if i'm actually supposed to care that these people are fucking and having it within the first few pages will make me lose interest fast.

β communicate with me! if you've lost interest in the storyline, are uncomfortable, want something to be changed, etc. tell me, and we can work together to fix the problem, or tell me you aren't going to continue. i won't take it personally. i mean, i won't be pissed if you ghost either, but a heads-up is appreciated.
connecting to the rule above, don't make me do all the plotting! try to bounce ideas back and forth. tell me about a few scenes you'd like to include. help me build the setting; don't just say "sounds good" to every suggestion i make without offering any additional input.
please give me 500 words at least! i don't expect you to write a novel each post, or even to match my length if you feel it doesn't add anything, but i do need something to work off of. besides, it's a little demoralizing to send over ten paragraphs and get one or two in reply.
be willing to write multiple characters! i love a good ensemble cast, and i think it helps to make the world feel properly alive, having a few mains and a couple more side characters all experiencing the horrors together.
