Howdy campers.
PV here, working on adding more writing into the mix of my life!
STUFF ABOUT ME
- I am a (theoretical) grown-up who has to adult periodically. I do work from home though, so I am often online and try to reply as frequently as I can to things. I have a tendency to type ungodly fast and reply really quickly when I'm excited about something. I don't expect the same speed from my partners, I def get that we have lives! I'll typically advise if I have something coming up that will take me away from posting for a while though; if unexpected circumstances arise, please just bear with me, I'll likely be back soon.
- I like talking to people out of character! I like making friends. I enjoy discussing video games, craft nonsense, stuff about our plots and characters, or just generally shooting the shit about life. Feel free to be friendly.
- Ditching happens. It's not pretty, but it's a reality of the world, because sometimes we don't like to communicate or confront stuff we're unhappy with. I'll try to be communicative if at all possible, and I appreciate the same, but I definitely get it if we're just not vibing.
- I curse a LOT. It may or may not translate to in-character, depending on the character's personality, but yeah. Just be aware.
STUFF ABOUT ROLEPLAYING
- If your first point of contact with me is asking about who plays top or bottom, dominant or submissive, or if you only play one role, you're probably not the partner for me. I tend to play switches, and I prefer to let things develop naturally unless such roles have some relevance to the plot - which they may or may not.
- I am a BIG fan of power dynamics, BDSM, smut, violence, all the dirty little things we all hide in our porn searches. Dubious consent or non-con is fine by me provided we discuss it prior to it happening in the plot; I'm also a-okay with terrible things happening to my characters in a non-sexual context, mentally or physically, though I don't usually go for gratuitous, unnecessary gore. I torture my characters in my plots, it happens. I'm not nice. Just clear it with me before something permanently altering happens to one of my characters, and I'll do the same for you.
- There are things I don't do! Here's the short list: anything bathroom-related, vore, mpreg or anything pregnancy-related, furries, feminization, any type of 'Daddy' dom situation. Check the F-List link for more details. If you don't see it on the list, you can ask.
- I tend to write anywhere from two to seventeen million paragraphs. Honestly, it depends on what's happening - if it's smut or fast-paced conversation, it's usually shorter, if it's plot or world/setting-building, it's usually longer. I just ask that you give me something to reply to, not just reaction in your posts; length doesn't matter as long as there's content! I also prefer some level of spelling and grammar.
- I need plot. I can't really do slice-of-life or other things lacking in any conflict or drama. I'm fine with completely self-indulgent smut roleplays. I also love heavy plot and slow-burns. I just like writing, y'all.
I think that's all the necessary bits and bobs! Time for all the PLOT AND NONSENSE you've come to expect from me.
CRAVINGS: GIVE ME THESE

the king's gift: a neighboring court/kingdom is sent a gift by the faerie king: an exquisite artifact of wood, carved from the tree of a dryad whom he intended to punish and destroy by turning their tree to such a purpose. However, without the king's knowledge, the dryad himself has hidden within the artifact to escape his wrath. Complications arise when both the dryad and the recipient of the gift realize the gift was bound to the receiver - and the dryad with it. {The artifact can be anything from a cool box to a weapon to a literal sailing ship, we can discuss it. I'd prefer to play the dryad.)
beneath the hollow hill: loosely inspired by seanan mcguire's 'wayward children' series. on a long walk home from a night class, an average young man is pulled through a doorway into the faerie realm. the rules of this world are different, and dangerous - and when a faerie princeling takes a liking to him, potentially deadly. will he ever be able to get home, or spend his life bound to this unknown realm?
just another name for fame: in a superhuman society (bnha style, but not based on any canon events or characters), heroes and villains are commonplace. the law is on the side of the heroes, but notoriety tends to focus on those who oppose the law: big and small, they call them all villains alike, and track them with fanatic fervor. what happens when an aspiring hero decides, to make their career, to go after a particularly notorious villain - only to find out said villain is not only definitely NOT actually evil, but also (insert shocking thing: childhood friend, former fling, current roommate, who knows! sky's the limit! I'm envisioning the villain as being kind of a Robin Hood type, but that's flexible, and I can play either the hero or the villain here. Powers are whatever you want to make of them! I have two characters in mind: Surge, my more-immoral-than-evil technopath, and Mercy, my healer!hero who is DYING for a corruption arc.)
a thin line between love and loathing: in an empire known as the most powerful of its day, those who serve beneath the emperor are in what seems like a constant struggle for power over one another, an internal rivalry that goes back to the empire's inception. in the present day, the reigning balance of power rests with the emperor's spymaster; the favored advisor, ever whispering in his sovereign's ear, and constantly at odds with the commander of the army.
yet behind closed doors, the relationship between the pair is anything but what it seems on the surface... {i'd love to play the spymaster, and this could play either as the two of them actually having a good relationship but having to hide it for some reason, like to keep the emperor from finding out, or as a role reversal behind the scenes. new concept, so i'd love to play with it! This can also easily become a fantasy plot, with supernatural/magical elements added.}
into the underworld: i am DYING to do a modern-day hades/persephone take wherein hades is the leader of some manner of crime syndicate, persephone the child of a wealthy, politically-connected family supporting hades' biggest nemesis zeus. i would LOVE to play persephone. we can discuss and flesh this out more! also, yes i've played hades, yes i've read lore olympus, no i don't want this based on either of them.

genre: medieval/fantasy - swords & sorcery
general concepts
magic. knights, in armor shining or not so. nobility. royalty. court intrigues. jumbled up fairy tales. thieves and bandits. epic quests. dragons and other assorted mythological beasties. wars, alliances, and arranged marriages. faeries and their realms and courts. elves. monsters. adventure and excitement. merfolk. fantasy cultures. courtesans. angels and demons. deities come to earth. magical artifacts. secrets and plots. feral children and foundlings. shapeshifter societies. slavery and servitude.
plots
weapon of the king: a monarch well known for his prowess in war and conquest has moved on to the afterlife, leaving the throne to his son. in the aftermath of the coronation, the new-crowned King makes his way to the family shrine and discovers his father's secret: an enslaved mage of formidable power, snatched from his home in childhood and bent into a tool for the conqueror's use.
his first words to the new king, following the old king's orders: "you are my master. I am your weapon."
will the new king seek to break the chains that have so long bound this dangerous creature, or will he follow in his father's footsteps, using his power for war and conquest? {I would like to play the mage. this can go two ways: kind of complex but adorable, or super dark and twisted, and I'm cool with either of them.}
shield of the soul, my life for yours: soul bonds are a common thing, the recognition of one's other half - not everyone finds their own, but the chances are always good. they manifest in marks on the body, tattoos of a magical nature that match their counterpart's. a young knight's appears as anticipated, in the presence of the one it is meant for - but not when it is expected, in the course of his normal life and duty. no, his soul bond appears when he is taken captive by an enemy, bound into slavery; now he is sworn to bind his life to theirs, no matter what the consequences. {come on conflict and hilarity! i have a knight in mind; the opposing character could be another solider, commander, noble, prince, whatever. key point is that they're on opposite sides of a conflict.}
blood of my blood: two young men were raised by a noble family, close as brothers: one the youngest son of the noble house, the other of common blood, taken in as a boon owed to his family for services rendered. from childhood on, they have always been together.
now, as they reach adulthood, the noble son finds himself thrust into a complex world of politics and war as an old family enemy seeks to strike in the wake of his father's death. his sole companion in this turmoil: his childhood companion, sworn ever to be by his side. will they be able to overcome these new obstacles, or will their lives end in blood and tears? {a very open-ended concept; there's a lot of possibility, so feel free to suggest!}
to end in chains: in a world where the laws of gods and man forbade magic long ago, mages are considered criminals at worst, dangerous toys or tools at best. those who are discovered are captured, branded, bound with iron to dampen their powers, and sold to the highest bidder as slaves. when one young mage, whose only crime was being born with power that his mother always told him was given by the very gods who are said to protest it, is consigned to the markets, will he end as little more than weapon for the highest bidder? or will fates bring him something more... {definitely would like to play the mage in this. i have a longer-laid plot that involves a lot of secrets being kept by the people repressing magic, and that could potentially evolve into something cool, or we can brainstorm other stuff, or just have a bit of randomness. whatever.}
a moon bloodred: a twist on red and the wolf. red is no innocent victim; he's a mercenary and killer for hire with magic at his fingertips and a dangerous reputation. and he always works alone - until a job comes up with a reward too good to pass up, and only one stipulation: that he work with a companion.
the man known as the wolf has just as dark a reputation as red himself, though his jobs more often end in death, and his kills are far messier. he's just as loath to work with someone else as red is, but he too is being offered a reward too good to pass up.
will they be able to complete their job, and claim their prizes? or will they kill each other in the process?
{i would much prefer to play red, as i already have a pretty firm character idea. the wolf can be a shapeshifter or not, it's your call! i also have an intro pretty much ready to go for this, so yay.}
when treaties fail: a warlike tribe of nomads has recently entered into a cautious trade agreement with the kingdom at the border of their lands. a delegation from the kingdom is sent to the village nearest the border to meet with the chieftain and those deemed most important among the tribe. but the agreement, it seems, was nothing more than a lure; the nomads' land holds resources the kingdom wants, and they have chose to resort to force in order to take it. {i have a nomad in mind.}
a wolf among men: a prince is hiding a dangerous secret from his family - he is a lycanthrope, cursed to shift shape under the full moon. in the hunt for something to keep his condition bound, he comes across a merchant who swears he has something that will work. he comes expecting a trinket, an amulet or a spell or somewhat; instead, he finds a caged blood mage, caught and kept captive for just such an occasion. blood magic is a crime in this land, punishable by death, but it is the only thing that can keep the prince's transformations at bay. so instead of a magical bauble, the prince returns with an enslaved mage in tow, one who will be the only living soul to know his secret - as he will be the only one to know the truth of the mage's work.
cue mutual attempts at blackmailing, powerplays, and general hilarity. {i prefer to play the blood mage, because MAGICCCC. also, anything else involving my blood mage, because he's a favored character of mine.}
the house of sighs: a city under siege falls to the conquering army at long last. within the walls of the house of sighs, a renowned place of pleasure, a healer waits to see what the conquest will bring. yet when he's mistaken for one of the house's courtesans by an enemy soldier, what choice does he have, if he wishes to keep his life? {i have an intro ready for this; i prefer to play my healer.}
when the snow falls: the realm of the fae is divided into four courts: Spring and Autumn, Summer and Winter. while the former two have managed to strike a truce with one another, the war between Summer and Winter has raged for centuries - and continues to do so, without any hint of stopping. until the day an exile from the Summer court, seeking to flee through Autumn lands, takes a step too far and winds up being found by a Winter prince... {i can play either side of this! so much room to build and expand!}
genre: modern/fantasy/urban magic
general concepts
organized crime. modern forms of magic. lycanthropes. vampires. angels and demons. mythology gone modern. schools of magic or for the supernaturally inclined. underground networks of the more-than-human. strip clubs staffed with the supernatural. blackmail. business as a front for crime or supernatural shenanigans. law enforcement. modern slave trade. superheroes.
plot possibilities
strike a balance: two vampire clans have been at war for centuries, always at odds, fighting for territory and dominance. now, in the modern day, they have finally come close to striking a truce. the terms: one young vampire from each clan, of esteemed bloodline and great potential power, is to be sent to the other, to serve and protect their leaders. blood could bind them... or more blood could be spilled, a war for the ages beginning anew. {this is almost definitely a multi-character deal, unless otherwise requested.}
with great power: the world is changing; threats beyond humanity's ken are on the rise, and so humanity has needed to empower its own to fight back. superheroes, inspired by ages of comics and games; people given gifts of power by sheer chance, or coincidence, or secrets the have hidden for years and only now are permitted to bring to light.
but is being a hero everything it's cracked up to be? and will those who rise in power be so willing to fight for humanity, or will disillusionment and madness turn them against those they're supposed to protect?
{COME ON ANTIHEROES AND VILLAINS AND WHAT HAVE YOU. idk, i just have a couple random superhero/villain concepts kicking around and want to play with them.}
sins for sale: magic is known, but not entirely common; most of the folk who have talent possess only minor gifts, little things like uncanny luck at video poker, never being out of wifi range, or being able to talk a stubborn smartphone app into proper function. those who possess magic with a little more oomph are sought after - and not often by the most law-abiding of folks.
enter a man whose magic fluctuates with the substances he imbibes, who is dependent on new and magically-enhanced drugs to fuel his power, and to keep his mind numb to the unpleasantness of the world. the mob wants him; he's succumbed enough to work for one of their fronts, a strip club, just to keep them off his back. it's the drugs and the buzz that he lives for, though - so when they want more from him, will it be enough? {my character is the stripper; there's a lot of opportunity for this! could get mob drama into it, or have a cop trying to protect him, or a drug dealer who capitalizes on his addictions, or literally just anything. just a fun character concept i have in mind.}
a turf war: two packs of werewolves have been on the verge of open war since the death of one of their leaders. they tread a thin line, trying to avoid hostilities, but neither willing to back down on a territory dispute. tensions continue to grow, until one full moon, one latches an attack on the other - a desperate, last-ditch attempt by the dead alpha's son to get vengeance. instead, he ends up in the clutches of the rival pack, the alpha unwilling to either kill him, knowing it will be seen as a declaration of war, or let him free to attack again.
there's one thing he doesn't know: his own pack houses a former member of the rival pack, sent undercover years ago to try to find information to bring the enemy down. now the alpha's son is not only captive, but coming face-to-face with a man he thought was a traitor... {i mean, i realize this is such a fracking loose idea and a lot of rambling, but: WEREWOLVES! DRAMA! SHENANIGANS! anyway, i def have multiple characters for this, in particular the alpha's son and the leader of the pack holding him. plus more other side ones. multicasting is fun. looking for someone to play the undercover dude/assumed traitor and probably some other side folks for shenanigan purposes.}
crime and consequences: in a world where the supernatural is not unknown, but is still on the fringes, a young detective with a gift for accurate hunches and semi-prophetic dreams is put on his first big case - an undercover job, investigating the head of a well-known and dangerous mob family. hired as an assistant for the other's legal front job, he works his way into the man's confidence, only to discover that crime shouldn't be his biggest concern; the family is a pack of very territorial werewolves, and once you're in, you don't get out alive. {i need more criiiiime. xD i have a character in mind to play for the detective. ALSO: anything involving organized crime and magic/supernatural creatures. bonus points for werewolves.}
snared by the red string: an omega has spent most of his life successfully hiding what he is, not interested in having it impact his life. on a fateful day, he does a favor for a friend, delivering a package to an unknown recipient - unfortunately, the favor turns out to be a trap: his friend owed money to a dangerous criminal organization, and lacking the funds, turned over the omega as payment. even worse, the moment the omega is brought before the leader of the organization, he recognizes them as his mate - a soul bond rare but unbreakable, and something he'd been avoiding all his life. now he's trapped, both by someone else's debt and by his own fate; will he crumble, or rise to carve out his own life despite the stranglehold of destiny? {a/b/o sans the mpreg bits; I'd like to play the omega. this can also be a non-a/b/o with just a typical soulmate thing}
genre: futuristic/sci-fi

banner in the stars: earth has expanded, reaching out its tendrils into space, developing new planets and finding new life, forming alliances and contacts and becoming a part of a greater universe. of course, as all things business expand, so too do the crimes connected with them. smuggling and piracy are as common among the stars as once they were upon the seas.
two particular bands of space pirates have become very aware of one another; their captains, rather than trying to drive one another out of business, have taken to performing escalating antics in order to catch one another's attentions. when both of them are tracked down by universal law enforcement and marooned together on a barely-colonized, wild planet, will their mutual attempts to impress continue? will they be able to work together? or will the need to survive turn them into bitter rivals?

strike a balance: two vampire clans have been at war for centuries, always at odds, fighting for territory and dominance. now, in the modern day, they have finally come close to striking a truce. the terms: one young vampire from each clan, of esteemed bloodline and great potential power, is to be sent to the other, to serve and protect their leaders. blood could bind them... or more blood could be spilled, a war for the ages beginning anew. {this is almost definitely a multi-character deal, unless otherwise requested.}
with great power: the world is changing; threats beyond humanity's ken are on the rise, and so humanity has needed to empower its own to fight back. superheroes, inspired by ages of comics and games; people given gifts of power by sheer chance, or coincidence, or secrets the have hidden for years and only now are permitted to bring to light.
but is being a hero everything it's cracked up to be? and will those who rise in power be so willing to fight for humanity, or will disillusionment and madness turn them against those they're supposed to protect?
{COME ON ANTIHEROES AND VILLAINS AND WHAT HAVE YOU. idk, i just have a couple random superhero/villain concepts kicking around and want to play with them.}
sins for sale: magic is known, but not entirely common; most of the folk who have talent possess only minor gifts, little things like uncanny luck at video poker, never being out of wifi range, or being able to talk a stubborn smartphone app into proper function. those who possess magic with a little more oomph are sought after - and not often by the most law-abiding of folks.
enter a man whose magic fluctuates with the substances he imbibes, who is dependent on new and magically-enhanced drugs to fuel his power, and to keep his mind numb to the unpleasantness of the world. the mob wants him; he's succumbed enough to work for one of their fronts, a strip club, just to keep them off his back. it's the drugs and the buzz that he lives for, though - so when they want more from him, will it be enough? {my character is the stripper; there's a lot of opportunity for this! could get mob drama into it, or have a cop trying to protect him, or a drug dealer who capitalizes on his addictions, or literally just anything. just a fun character concept i have in mind.}
a turf war: two packs of werewolves have been on the verge of open war since the death of one of their leaders. they tread a thin line, trying to avoid hostilities, but neither willing to back down on a territory dispute. tensions continue to grow, until one full moon, one latches an attack on the other - a desperate, last-ditch attempt by the dead alpha's son to get vengeance. instead, he ends up in the clutches of the rival pack, the alpha unwilling to either kill him, knowing it will be seen as a declaration of war, or let him free to attack again.
there's one thing he doesn't know: his own pack houses a former member of the rival pack, sent undercover years ago to try to find information to bring the enemy down. now the alpha's son is not only captive, but coming face-to-face with a man he thought was a traitor... {i mean, i realize this is such a fracking loose idea and a lot of rambling, but: WEREWOLVES! DRAMA! SHENANIGANS! anyway, i def have multiple characters for this, in particular the alpha's son and the leader of the pack holding him. plus more other side ones. multicasting is fun. looking for someone to play the undercover dude/assumed traitor and probably some other side folks for shenanigan purposes.}
crime and consequences: in a world where the supernatural is not unknown, but is still on the fringes, a young detective with a gift for accurate hunches and semi-prophetic dreams is put on his first big case - an undercover job, investigating the head of a well-known and dangerous mob family. hired as an assistant for the other's legal front job, he works his way into the man's confidence, only to discover that crime shouldn't be his biggest concern; the family is a pack of very territorial werewolves, and once you're in, you don't get out alive. {i need more criiiiime. xD i have a character in mind to play for the detective. ALSO: anything involving organized crime and magic/supernatural creatures. bonus points for werewolves.}
snared by the red string: an omega has spent most of his life successfully hiding what he is, not interested in having it impact his life. on a fateful day, he does a favor for a friend, delivering a package to an unknown recipient - unfortunately, the favor turns out to be a trap: his friend owed money to a dangerous criminal organization, and lacking the funds, turned over the omega as payment. even worse, the moment the omega is brought before the leader of the organization, he recognizes them as his mate - a soul bond rare but unbreakable, and something he'd been avoiding all his life. now he's trapped, both by someone else's debt and by his own fate; will he crumble, or rise to carve out his own life despite the stranglehold of destiny? {a/b/o sans the mpreg bits; I'd like to play the omega. this can also be a non-a/b/o with just a typical soulmate thing}
genre: futuristic/sci-fi

plot possibilities
banner in the stars: earth has expanded, reaching out its tendrils into space, developing new planets and finding new life, forming alliances and contacts and becoming a part of a greater universe. of course, as all things business expand, so too do the crimes connected with them. smuggling and piracy are as common among the stars as once they were upon the seas.
two particular bands of space pirates have become very aware of one another; their captains, rather than trying to drive one another out of business, have taken to performing escalating antics in order to catch one another's attentions. when both of them are tracked down by universal law enforcement and marooned together on a barely-colonized, wild planet, will their mutual attempts to impress continue? will they be able to work together? or will the need to survive turn them into bitter rivals?
characters i prefer to play will always be italicized.

RECKLESS - a fighter who's a daredevil and a sacrifice who's a masochist; one could consider it a match made in heaven, but when the two are afraid to even get close, how is a name supposed to bind?
PEERLESS is a fighter who has never lost, a cocky, overconfident youth whose natural talent shown in training has given him a super-giant ego. it's only when he finally meets his true sacrifice, a domineering man who demands nothing less than perfection, that he'll get knocked down a peg... or five.
HEARTLESS is a sacrifice whose fighter is on his deathbed, and he cannot care less. when he's paired with MATCHLESS, who has never known and likely will never know a true partner to share his name, will it be enough to break through the shell of impervious lack of emotion? or will it just be another deadly disaster?
ZERO series cannot feel pain, but they are also the only pairs capable of a dangerous spell, one to exchange sacrifices. when two pairs' exchange lasts long outside of battle, will they ever manage to win back their initial partners? or will they at long last learn the meaning of pain?
