I go by Moth ‘round these parts, and for all that I have been at this craft for twenty years and change, it has been some time since I’ve written up a request thread of my own – bear with me, if you’d be so kind.

I’m looking for new partners with whom to write unspeakable downfalls and impossible triumphs.
I stake this thread in pursuit of intricate, fantastical elements interwoven into human struggle. I beckon writers here for the sake of building characters who think and feel and grow, and devising the most magnificent ways of destroying everything those characters thought they knew and wanted. I wish to raise worlds with subtleties and physics and immutable orbits, and I fully intend to rend those worlds asunder and to fold them into themselves ‘til all but unrecognizable.

Won't you join me?

I am a 36-year-old bisexual woman with enough fluidity in my approach to play both women and men; I am actively interested in writing women for MxF and/or FxF pairs at this time, though have historically found myself writing MxM pairings more than anything else, and am immensely comfortable in doing so. I may be persuaded to write a man for the right MxF foil. All in all, I seek well-balanced balanced dynamics with interesting tension, no matter the gender pairing.
I will double, write side characters, and collaborate on NPC actions with gusto. I like my worlds fully fleshed and interactive.
I am an advanced literate writer who operates in the past tense. I tend to have a regular output of 700-2000 words per post, though this may lessen or increase depending on our shared flow.

I fear I cannot write pure smut, and I require good character building and story to chase in order to remain interested. My preferred Erotica:Story ratio is anywhere from 20:80 to 40:60 in most cases, though more or less is possible on a case to case basis. If I love your writing, I will love whatever we build together, chaste or hedonistic as may come. Let’s talk about kinks and limits together - I prefer that to be a forthcoming conversation rather than a flat list.

-High and low fantasy elements, from mythological olde fantasy pieces to modern magical subrealism. Dragons and fae, old gods and ancient tomes, otherworldly forests that can be stumbled into through the perfect wrong turn. Bloodlines rich in forgotten magics, the curse of long-forgotten grudges seeping up through the stonework foundations of secret academia;

-Science Fiction that can range anywhere from Victorian steam-futurism to post-apo brutalism and hyper-cybernetic neon dreamscapes. Big fan of alternate realities and technologies, Space Travel thematics, and the eldritch horrors that can be found in the far reaches of the unknown;

-Occult and Cryptid core – bring me your paranormal investigations, your supernatural metropolis-noir, your hidden covens and vampiric pacts, your botched excorcisms and willful possessions. Get weird with it, and commit to the bit.

-Pantheon-building, world-jumping, timeline-bending – this is a nuanced art to be certain, and doesn’t work for every attemptor, but there is nothing I enjoy more than godlike entities that manifest themselves in mortal worlds, be it as enemies or lovers or subtleties between. Fate-tethered dynamics that cannot help but chase each other through time and space is one of the chef’s kiss achievements of RP, in my humble opinion. These can be born of any character archetypes in any conceivable genre, from a single pair or a true ensemble cast – dynamic tension is always the secret ingredient.

The above is not an exhaustive list of what I would care to play - any of these concepts can be combined with one another or with additional elements, and channeled through any number of settings, genres, or circumstances.

Various antiquities/BCE,
Iron age,
Bronze age,
Medieval,
Renaissance,
Regency,
Victorian,
Industrial,
19th century American Western Expansion,
20th century (WWI, roaring 20s, great depression, WWII, and midcentury through modern era)

Kindly bear in mind that I have a base understanding of these and others, but strictly do not claim to have true expertise therein. I will, however, supplement my understanding with frequent and ample research.

Any of these setting eras can be interwoven with aforementioned fantastical qualities, or played more straight and grounded with the right elements of interest. Completely fictional eras, regions, and worlds are also beloved approaches.

Stay Tuned -- Still to follow are updates that will include plot propositions, pairing suggestions, and other inspirations from which to draw. I more than welcome any early-birds who bring suggestions of their own, or combinations from any of the above. Please DM me to get something started, rather than posting here.

Let's build something spectacular and bring it to ruin together.
