Hello! Diodri's the name, but feel free to call me Dio. A little about myself, hmm...
I'm 29 years old... ugh saying that makes me feel old... an avid roleplayer who has traversed time and space, and genres. Mostly I like fantasy and sci-fi, which seems pretty standard around here. I also like modern super powered stories and post apocalypic ones.
I have been playing games for about 15 years, so while I'm experienced I feel like I have much to improve. (Most of my experience comes from Dungeons & Dragons in case you are curious).
Enough about me for now, on to what I am looking for. (In no particular order).
I like seeing strong female characters in action, with personality. I will typically play a male (but I have experience playing female characters too, but obviously my strengths lie in a certain direction).
I enjoy romance, and am open to sexy situations, but I never want to make that a priority. The relationship between the two characters has to feel natural, not rushed, and the plot should come first.
I see people like to set a writing goal of 2 or 3 paragraphs. That's good as a rule of thumb, but if you want to have some witty banter or back and forth dialogue, you have to settle for shorter posts sometimes. (A good way is to have a series of PMs or a chat before posting in the thread).
I can't really think or anything else, but I'm sure there is something I have missed! Drop me a line if you like the cut of my jib. Onto a few ideas I have been banging around in the ol' noggin.

Space Adventure:
Set several billion years in the future, the last human colony on Mars is watching as our sun finally exhausts the hydogen in its core, about to expand into a massive red giant. The expansion will swallow what is left of the scorched Earth, and will leave Mars uninhabitable.
The last transport ship is about to leave for Alpha Centari, but as they are about to jump, the ship is caught in the suns violent death throes, sending the crew into the unknown depths of space.
With the ships hyper drive damaged, the crew must make a decision. Repair the drive and try and finish journey to Alpha Centari, or abandon the mission and find a new home in this uncharted part of space.
Possible pairings:
M captain x F crew member
F captain x M crew
Two crew members
The above pairings, but with one as an android.
Something else?!

End of the world: (this one might need some cleaning up, my thoughts seem a bit jumbled).
A vicious parasite has begun infecting the human population. Like many parasites found in nature, it is able to affect the behaviours of it's host, causing them to act erratically. The United Stated has closed it's borders to all travel, and the military has set up qurantine zones in major cities all across the country. In these areas life continues mostly as normal, however in the midwest states, where the vast open landscapes are hard to secure, the infection runs rampant.
The infected humans wander aimlessly, looking for new hosts to infect, which they do through saliva, making their bites deadly. However, due to the parasites small size, one bite is often not enough to fully infect a person, the immune system is able to fight it to some degree.
However they are not to be confused with the undead. The infected humans have been seen scavenging stores and dumpsters, even carrion, for food. They can opening doors and perform other low dexterity tasks. These people are still alive, just in a sleep walk-like state. They can bleed to dead or starve to death just like any other human...
And the infected could still be saved.
Scientists are searching feverishly for a vaccine.
Possible pairings:
Any pairing involving military, scientists or civillians. No real preference.
