Diablo: Rise of the Nephilim:
A skilled newhire for the Immediate Murder Professionals. A strange young man with even stranger powers but no memory. These two may be the only ones who can defeat the Lord of Terror.
When young Alan Reiley was found in the dumpster of the Hazbin Hotel by a passing Angel Dust, he was taken into the care of Charlie Morningstar and Vaggie. After endearing himself to the pair, he resolves to spend his awkward afterlife doing anything he can to help their dream. But when he takes a part-time office job for the Immediate Murder Professionals, a fateful tagalong with their new, skilled mercenary (your character) leads into a dark, frightening struggle to save all of creation from three ancient beings hell-bent on finishing a war they began six-thousand years ago...
Fallout: Morningstar
A young woman out of time finds herself in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, where she becomes involved in a harrowing struggle for survival against a horde of genetically-engineered monstrosities.
Charlotte Morningstar, once the daughter of United States President Lucian Morningstar, was sealed shut in Vault 10 on that fateful day in 2077. But when she awoke as the sole survivor of the Vault from a cryogenic slumber in 2293, she is forced to take refuge in the nearby town of Perfection with local sheriff's deputies Vaggie Rodriguez and Alan Reiley, along with a recent newcomer from New Vegas (your character). But as she learns the ropes of post-nuclear survival, ghosts from the past begin to resurface. With the threat of a bio-engineered race of organisms called "Slivers" oroginating from the sinister Riptide Project looming over the wasteland, humanity faces its second near-extinction in recent memory.
I also have a Resident Evil themed AU mostly starring Moxxie, Millie, Loona, and an OC of mine who meet in the Raccoon City incident in 1998.
For Diablo (and somewhat Resident Evil), one does NOT need to know about any lore from the respective franchises. Knowledge of the Hellaverse is all that is really needed.
I am 31, advanced lit, and use third-person past-tense in my writing.
